First of all let me say that Sylvia I am very, very happy to hear of all your success
I still visit your blog on a regular basis even if I don't have time to drop you a line. I wish we could've gotten together when our family was in Southern CA over the summer but we ended up having plans with some family member all that week. Well with the exception of the middle of the week when my sister-in-law was workinb but we took a little mini-trip up the coast. We went up in the mountains to Solvang, drove down to Pismo Beach and spent the night there, and then drove to Hearst Castle the next morning 
. It was a lot of fun. Maybe the next time we visit, we won't go just before you leave for the RWA conference 
.Anyway, Since NANOWRIMO is starting up again and since you mentioned it in your blog already, are we all up for another WORD Challenge? I know I am. I have a brand new project that I have in mind to work on. It's a fantasy romance told in first person with a *gasp* ogre for a hero! I've had the idea for awhile now and a friend I met online encouraged me to go for it. It's totally different than anything I've ever tried before but it has been fun to plot and I've already completed two chapters. This year, I am not working at Penney's. The only distraction I can think of is that we'll be going go Las Vegas over Thanksgiving weekend (yippee!) but I'll have the hubby bring the laptop along so I can work on my story during any free time I have there. So is anyone else up for a WORD challenge?
