I watched it and liked it, though I haven't read Sookie's books...so I'm not "tainted" with expectations. :| Though unfortunately I only had HBO for a free preview, I won't be subscribbing, but I will be checking out the series online or when the DVD's become available I'll rent them.

:P I watched it, it was good but I don't recall Sookie
getting beat up in the first book. What about the preview
they showed for next week. Sookie isn't turned into a
vampire in the books, so i'm anxious to see the next
show and find out what that is all about. You know
books made into movies never really do them justice.
Well with the exception of a few. So much is left out
due to time constraints and other stuff. I wonder how
Charlaine felt about it? I would be over joyed to have
my stories on tv, that I might not care too much. :mrgreen:
