Just because some of us didn't get the winner's button, doesn't mean you have to remove the button you already have. No matter what, you were a participant, which is no small feat. You set a goal for yourself and actively worked toward meeting it. That makes all of us winners!!

14 pages shy! Was too tried to write when I got home last night (darn Penney's and all the stupid one day sales they have over the holidays) so I grabbed a cookie for my grumbling stomach, hopped in the shower and headed to bed. Plus my hubby was on the 'puter looking up prices for a computer he's building for my sis & bro-in-law for Christmas and I would've felt bad about booting him off the 'puter so that I can write because my sis & family really do need a new computer. What kills me is how close I was to finishing it off but you know what, I am happy with the work I did & it did give a good kick in the rear towards getting my story finished. I'm at the "black moment" in my story now so I'm almost there & I'm certain I can finish it off before the holidays now
:occasion5: to everyone who did it & I am glad I suggested this Sylvia. Let's do it again next year & hopefully I won't have the part-time retail job to get in my way next year
Oh & Sylvia, I postedi n your blog but I wanted to send my congrats on your Brava Reader's Choice contest win :occasion9: ! Excellent news sweetie, I can imagine how excited you were when you got the call
Take care gang & in case you don't hear from me, I hope you all have a very Happy Holiday season :rendeer:

I think I might be done or darn close to it. I know the month ended three days ago, but I'm finally sitting at 80 pages with my paranormal and 75 with my contemporary. I'm going to go back and add detail in both, possibly writing another chapter in the contemporary, then that's it. I'll attempt to write two synopses before the holidays and be done with it. I'm so excited. I just wanted to thank you all for the encouragement. I really didn't think I'd get two more partials done this year. The Write or Die month has been a Godsend to me.
Thank you, thank you , thank you!
