So far this week I've managed 9 pages. That gives me 30 for the month. Only 90 more to meet goal.

How is everyone else doing?

I thought I'd get out. Get some fresh air. Write somewhere new. So I went to the bookstore. What was I thinking? ](*,) Between singing along with the music playing over the loud speaker and overhearing nearby conversations, I barely made 400 words. I couldn't even manage to read my notes. I have to make up for this dismal showing tomorrow or my week is sunk. :x

Here's hoping you have better day tomorrow, Jordan. I get some of my best writing done at the local library :study: so you might want to try there. PJ gets to play with the toys in the kids section & mommy gets to write :-). Six pages in for me tonight  . PJ has preschool tomorrow so I can try to sneak in a few pages after I use the excerise bike for my mini work-out. It sounds like we're all moving along. Here's hoping we all have good days tomorrow :smt024

After the 13 pages on Tuesday, the 11 on Wednesday brings me over the 90 pages mark at last. I haven't written anything new today at all, having just finished typing up the hand written stuff. I made sausage soup cuz it's nice and cool outside, but I'm just staying home to write rather than going to the park as rain is due in later today. I think I'm going to print out the entire ms so far, put it in a binder, and work on doing some hand editing later tonight as I have a LOT of holes to patch!

I'm LOL@holes Alison. I wrote 21 pages yesterday, nearly all of it dialogue--I have a lot of holes to patch too :D. I apolgize for not checking up on everyone but it sounds like everyone's making great progress :D

On the downside, I think I'm gonna run short--I'll be lucky to hit 90k which means 360 pages. On the upside I'm on page 307.

On the downside I still have to edit. My original plan was to spend Thanksgiving week editing since I"m taking the week off. I thought I could get it done in time to enter it in the GH.

Instead I have to switch gears and go to another project so I have a new goal. Overhaul 100k word ms by the end of the month. It's not major so it can be done but I"m not a happy camper.

Was hoping to hit six pages tonight but the scene I envisioned ran a little short. Oh well. Tomorrow is another day. Night all :-$

I'm still at only 9 pages for the week.

But with good reason. I finally finished all edits on my requested ms and it's going in the mail today. So all my time can now be devoted to this ms. :thumleft:

Excellent news Teresa :D ! Good luck  . So far I've only gotten one page in today. But I hope to squeeze in a few more tonight. Want to at least get my hero to the Ohio River (close to modern day Pittsburgh) by the end of the week :D . Take care everyone & have a good day.

Well, darn it, I fell short of my weekly goal by 990 words. Yes, you read that right, 990 words. It's eating me up inside. I may just have to switch over to AQ4 just so I can pump out the remaining word count. Over all, I'm on schedule. I averaged this week with last and it brings me out at 660 over what I'd hoped for, so I can't complain too much.

Sylvia, glad to see you and Sasha are having a blast. I remember those Southern California days like it was yesterday. Sigh.

Hope everyone is typing/writing/editing away.

Best,
Jordan

A total of seven pages for the day. Not too shabby. I'll count all my pages tomorrow and add up a total for the week. The only break I plan on taking tomorrow is when we take PJ to go see the Incredibles :happy1: and we might do dinner after the movie. Take care gang & have a great (and productive :smt024 ) weekend.

Thanks for the congratulations, everyone! I feel pretty darn good right now. :lol:/

I feel asleep really early last night and sleep for twelve hours. But I have all day today to work toward more goal.

Jordan, you were so close! But you still made great progress!

Marquerite, I've heard the movie was cute. Have fun!

Teresa,

Thanks! I'm so anal I went back and added another 1K just so I could make my weekly goal. LOL! So I feel like I can actually relax and enjoy the day. If I wouldn't have made it, I'd be back at it today. As it is I think I'll be hard pressed to produce one partial. I keep jumping back and forth between two different manuscripts. I'm pleased with what I've written, but I think they're both going to fall short. :-/

68 pages in total for the two weeks. we've been doing this. Only 112 away from my goal *Sigh* but 112 doesn't seem like a totally undobale number. That means I'll have to do about 7 pages a day until the end of the month & I've been averaging about that :D . Oh & the :happy1: movie last night was excellent. Pj loved it too though he was a little scared when the Incredibles children, Violet & Dash, were getting chased around the island. When they did get away, he lifted his head up from lap and said, "Phew, that was a close one." I plan on writing some today after I go grocery shopping so I'll keep you ladies posted on wether or not I meet my 7 page goal  . Take care everyone & congrats on such a an excellent first two weeks =D>

Jordan

I have complete faith in you to get the job done, Jordan
Marguerite congrats! Sounds like you're making wonderful progress!
I seriously contemplated a movie this weekend but I think I'll wait and see how far I get by my vacation week instead.

Teresa I napped yesterday too. Seemed like every time I sat at the computer I got narcoleptic! LOL. I ended up paper editing cause I could do it laying down, and I sent my revised three chapters to my CP's and I've gotten good feedback so I feel like I'm on the right track. I've got a total of 225 pages done and gotten about 20 more pages of actual revisions input this morning which puts me just over the 1/4 mark (and bought groceries and put dinner on) so I feel like I'm making good progress.

I also registered TBGG and CDC in the GH on Friday

Happy writing everyone! :D

Wow, I'm so impressed with everyone's progress. As for me . . .

I'm at 32.5% of goal right now. I'd hoped to be further along. But the good news it I'm doing a BIAW this week also. So that should be the added boost I need to get me back up to where I need to be. I've already written 9 pages today. Going to work on more now.

I can bump my progress up to 35% of goal now. I managed to write another three pages. May get more tonight, but they'll all be on my Quickpad so I won't know how many until I can upload.

Hope everyone else is doing well.

Yay!!! :occasion9: I passed the half way mark in my ms edits!!! :bounce:

This is exciting because tomorrow is the half way mark in the month. Hopefully, I can stay on track and get finished.

I'm so glad to hear that everyone is doing well, each in their own way.

Some of the WORD participants aren't checking in. Should we track them down and offer the promised butt-kicks? :whip:
