No, there's absolutely no legitimate reason to use that emoticon.  I'm so sorry, I just couldn't help myself....

I'm going to hang around and see what's what.  :)

Hi Briana,

I hope I'm doing this forum thing right. I was wondering if you also work with the Cerridwen Press team when it comes to reviewing manuscripts. If so, can you give an approximate time frame that a writer should allow for a response on a partial?

Well, it's great you're willing to answer questions. Thank you!

Hi Shelby!

Yes, I also do work on some Cerridwen releases. I've edited two of the books and have a couple in the pipeline.

Typically, you can expect an answer on a partial within twelve weeks. However, the Cerridwen submissions have been fast and furious and the editors have been quite overwhelmed with the sheer numbers, so this is only a guideline and not an absolute.

If you have a question about your submission, you can always email Submissions@Cerridwenpress.com and someone will answer your query as soon as time allows.

Hi Bree,

Thanks for the info! I'll wait until Cerridwen has had my partial for six months before asking about it. I know editors get a lot of submissions so I don't want to check up on mine too soon. It's been four months - another two won't kill me to wait. At least I hope it won't! :D

Thanks again!

Hi Briana,

I found this place through a group list and I'm sure happy I did. It's great to be able to ask a question in a casual manner - thanks Sylvia!

I don't actually have a question, at the moment, but now that I've found this place I'll know where to come if I have one. I've recently received the (thrilling) news of a requested full manuscript from Cerridwen Press so I'm sure I'll probably think of something to ask sooner or later. In the meantime, I'm just happy to read through all the threads and try to educate myself.

Thanks again for this board, Sylvia, and thank you, Briana for taking part in it!

Happy reading and writing, everyone! :D
