Take the next few days to think of what you want to accomplish in April. Sign up :vertag: only when you're sure you want the :bruce_h4h: when you don't check in.

Obviously, I'm in. :D

I'm in.

I have four proposals that I want to work on:

1) the Edwardian set historical romance that has been tormenting me for a month
2) the first installment of the supernatural Solange du Lac, Vampire series that has also been tormenting me for a month
3) the ST paranormal chick-lit that I brainstormed up last night
4) the chick-lit that I brainstormed up over the past three days.

The maximum is four and the minimum is two. The historical and the du Lac novels are my main focus, so kick me in the (online) shins if I stray.

What I truly want to accomplish is having the satisfaction of having a self-deadline and have the ability to meet it, and perhaps even surpass it, as well as the discipline to be able to set goals for myself and not wander off the path as I was wont to do in the past. :D

I'm looking forward to hearing everyone else's goals!

I'm not sure what I'm going to be working on yet, but my goal is to have 20K written before I leave for the Romantic Times Convention at the end of next month.

Jordan, who hopes to surpass that goal, but would be happy to reach it...

For the month of April my goal is to have the Partial of Willing submitted(5-7,000 words) . And One of my erotic stories for Amber Quill Done. Doesn't matter which one..as long as one is done

I can't believe I'm doing this again.:wallbash:
This will be my third time...maybe I'll actually reach my goals this time!

So do I! I have this uber-great idea for a Georgian, but I put off writing it because it was very...different. :D Maybe I'll dig it out and give it a whirl after TUB(beautiful acronym for my WIP right?)

Thanks! It's one of my faves too. :D The full is still on an editor's desk, but they're lagging. (They're already over a month beyond their guidelines.) I'm not changing the story AT ALL. I love the story. But my writing has changed since then so I need to clean it up and get ready to pull it and submit it elsewhere.

I'm in. I have about 2/3 of a romantic suspense roughed out (ie, written but not in any way I would let anyone other than my cp read). I want to finish it and go back and start editing.

That sounds so easy.......

But who doesn't enjoy a good long soak in the tub? I think you could do a Georgian very well.

Count me in. I'm starting to claw my way out of Baby H*ll, so I think I can actually get something accomplished now. I hope.

My goals for the month: finish my futuristic novella THE IMPRISONED PRINCE (okay, all I have left to do is an epilogue and some light editing, but in Baby H*ll that can take months:-) and finish my futuristic novella FARTHEST SPACE (since the anthology it's slated for is coming out in May I kind of need to get it finished!!!!). I have about 60 pages left to write on FARTHEST.

Gosh, I'd love to get far enough along on these two novellas that I can start working on a contemporary again... I'm all futuristicked out!

Yay!!! Another Georgian. Fabulous. :welcomeani: Lady Tess!

Okay. *rubbing hands together gleefully* We're off and running today! You guys ready? :eyebrow:

I think I have to revise my goal since I received an offer for Sapphire's Worth :bounce: and I need to contemplate my options before touching it. Soooo... I'll be working on finishing Alex's story and then I'll either spend the rest of the month editing various sold works or working on my next historical. Either way my goal is a minimum 5 written pages a day or 10 edited pages a day.

Today it's all about Alex. I am on pg 67. :D

Roll call. What did everyone get accomplished the first day?

I was able to write the first chapter, which was a little over 15 pages.

Moi aussi!(Me too, en francais, which is the setting of my WIP :P )15 pages on friday and 9 on saturday. I worked all day today, so didn't get any writing in, but besides these few scatches of time on the internet, I've been in the process of finishing up my research notes.(On turn of the century France & the perfume industry!)
