You know if Stanton gets pinned for Nathan's murder Monica will be able to get back with Victor. I don't think that will happen because of the Russian involvement, but you never know.

Does anyone know the song Eva and Gideon were dancing to when she went to his apartment for dinner for the first time??

Once we figure it out we're all going to be downloading it. LOL

I took it as he meant " I don't mastar**** anymore" as in since he met Eva he no longer does it. He always says about his sem** that "every drop is hers" which makes me think he regards it as sacred now he is with Eva! He also says the only time he got himself off since he met her was when he was in the shower with her!

Before he met Eva it was just a normal daily function for him but now he views all forms of se.x.u.a.l actIvity as sacred!

Does that make sense?

I totally agree with you. I understood it that he doesn't do "it" anymore since Eva is in his life.

I read in anoither forum thread this same question and the answer was "Crossfire."  In EWY we learned that word is not only Eva's safeword, but is Gideon's word that shows how he feels about her.  We knew that he had a hard time with "I love you" because he had been loved before and what he and Eva have is so much more than that, so for him "Crossfire" is his word.

If you re-'read EWY there are a few occasions where this happens..! Gideon wasn't able to say the words. " I Love You" to Eva as he didn't see the words were fit at the time so his word is Crossfire..!

I hate that I didn't catch that. LOL

What does Gideon whisper to Eva? Sylvia wrote that all would be revealed in EWY. Then more people started whispering things that Eva didn't catch. Do we find out all the whispered conversations -maybe in book 4 for sure?

Worryingly if Chris Vidal as the sex tape, that will give him a huge advantage over Gideon, who will do everything to protect Eva. Bad move Chris.

There's going to be a blow up with them & I can't wait. It's going to be like a car crash & I won't be able to look away.

Also a few people were confused as to when Gideon had time to text Angus at the hospital to come and take Eva away. I assume this happened while she was talking to JFG and he was over talking to his mother and Corinne's parents. God knows what they were saying about Eva and the fact that she was there and that probably convinced him to send that message before someone confronted Eva and tried to blame Corinne's condition on her. What do you all think?

I agree with you that he had time to send the text. It would have been awkward to be there. I still don't think that Elizabeth should have called Gideon. Neither of them nor Eva should have made an appearance at the hospital. I thought that Gideon was going to be done with Corrine once and for all. I know that it seems harsh with her overdose, but I don't care. I wish he would resort to (what did Deanna call him?) 'iceman' with Corrine.

I wonder if this incident is a red herring???

That sure would make things more interesting! I like it either way.

I am a member of Audible and own both of these books and have RIY pre-ordered already.  I listen to Audiobooks on my iPhone all day at work and try not to blush too much.  My hubby teases me because I like to read a book and then listen to the audio, I tell him that it gives me a 3D vision of the books that I just read.  Anyway I am hooked on audiobooks.  I personally think that an audiobook is better after I have read the book, because then I know what is internal thoughts and not verbalized thoughts. 

I did the same thing (read then listen) with EWY.

Do you think Gideon's initial thoughts about Eva were just to use toys/fingers/whatevers on her? When did using her as a one time thing turn into wanting more? Don't you think it happened before the s*x in the limo?

That is an interesting point. I wonder about this. It would be cool if in book 4 Gideon told Eva that just like when he told her about the actual first time he saw her outside the Crossfire.

Well it looks like book 4 will have more details into Gideon's family and I can't wait for those interactions.

I think Gideon was in the airplane when Eva tried to track him. I don't think he turned it off.

I didn't think of that, but it makes sense since he gave her directions on how to track his phone. He doesn't want to hide anything from her.

...Personally I'm not convinced she knew she was pregnant. Can a pregnant woman take anti-depressants? Would she have done so regardless of the consequences if she had known about the pregnancy?

Would she have attempted suicide as a manipulation tp get Gideon back, knowing she was pregnant?

Don't get me wrong I think she is a manipulative b**** and the sooner she ###### off the better. But I'm not convinced she knew of this pregnancy...

Part of me thinks that Victor being a cop, he knew instinctively what Gideon had done, and why he hurt Eva cutting her off, needing honest reactions, when questioned by the police. He said himself when he got off the plane, he wanted to hurt someone/something. If Nathan had been around, I think Victor would have done the same as Gideon . Clancy told Eva what lengths he would go to, to protect his wife. I would have liked to have heard the conversation between Gideon and Victor.

Well it was taped so maybe it'll be in book 4.

I think Clancy might know that Monica cheated. 

She took a cab there, so I'm not sure. I think she knew their attraction towards each other hasn't stopped over the years and knew that she would sleep with him.

My only thought is that Gideon said he had been planning their wedding on the beach for weeks. Perhaps he had asked Elizabeth for the ring then? She did seem shocked. I can't really figure out why she would just give it to him for no reason you 

 

If Gideon did ask for the ring maybe Elizabeth thought it would be for Corrine.

I have a question for everyone : Why do you think Monica had to change into Eva's clothes ; do you think Victor ripped Monica's clothes off of her in a wild burst of passion?

That's what came to my mind. lol

Eva still has issues with her hearing. Gideon said something to Deanna at the end of the book, WHAT! Argh!

When reading EWY I was waiting to find out what Gideon whispered and now there's another whispered comment that we don't know. I am so happy that there are more books cause I can't get enough.

I cant think of a good reason as to why she would lie about being sick that could affect Eva. I keep coming up empty.

I was thinking the worse, but then Eva was told she sounded sick when she called out of work. I am wondering what's up.
