I am sorry if you don't like this but it has to be said.  If some of the new members would look back at what we have all discussed since before Entwined and after Reflected you will see that we have spent months discussing Monica, Victor, Lizard (Elizabeth vidal) Chris Jnr, Chris Snr to death and to be honest I could not go through all the posts here again as it was just repeating what we had all discussed.

 

I know you have your points to raise being new but maybe if you had read further back to what we have discussed you would see our explanations and comments   We have been on here for a while now and discussed things until we were blue in the face and I do not feel that a new thread for Mothers & Fathers was needed.

 

Sorry to be blunt and I know some of you will be P***ed off with me saying this but that is my thoughts.

I always think its good to go over old postings. We covered so much ground. Yes there are a lot, but they do make interesting reading. Plus we always added a little humour for good measure, and the odd picture of Henry.

I have referred back to them myself on occasions.

I would have to say we probably covered every avenue in those postings.

Someone tweeted to Sylvia that they couldn't stand the wait until May 2014 for the next book and she tweeted back that it certainly wasn't going to be May 2014 and to please stop spreading rumors. LOL!!

I noticed on amazon that they published a date of 8th may 2014 for the release date. I mentioned it to Sheena. She asked Sylvia who said it was wrong. Next day the book had been removed. Someone screwed up on amazon UK.

I nearly died when I saw that date! I was like noooooooooo!

Am breathing again now. Phew!

I have always believed that Clancy is the protector of Eva's heart by saving Gideon with an alibi.

It also takes the heat off Monica and Stanton. But overall Gideon is the main person to benefit.

They sure can! But like i've said before I would prefer if they don't do a huge wedding and I prefer we never find out what their vows were. Just a personal preference but of course I wont mind reading if they do the NYC wedding! lol

From all the information we have in the 3 books so far, no one in Vidal family knows of Nathan or Eva's past. So whoever has the bracelet is tied to Eva/Gideon/Monica/Stanton and did it to protect Gideon & Eva's future.

Ireland knows. She was there when the cops came to talk about Nathan.she could have innocently let it slip to Chris jnr.

Gideon has never told Eva to stay away from his mother. Whether he should or should not, he turns to her repeatedly.....his apartment, wanting know what Eva thought of Elizabeth, saving Vidal Records and the ultimate, wanting the love of his life to have the engagement ring that belong to his mother. The man has serious issues regarding Elizabeth.

He is a little boy just wanting his mother to love him. Simple as that.

If she had done her job properly in the first place giving him unconditional love, he would be in a better place now.

We all think Angus had some input in helping Gideon. I'm hoping when Gideon reveals all Angus gets credit in the book. His loyalty to Gideon is overwhelming.

Maybe when Eva gets Liz and Gideon together.  She said the next time he tells you what happen you will listen and believe him.  I wonder if she can get Liz to Dr. Petersen's for the confrontation.

  

Yes he went to her for help because she's his mother!! She was the person in his life that was supposed to look out for him. She could have had an influence on him but seeing how he interacts with her it looks like a negative influence. Any child goes to their parents for help, even if they don't have a strong relationship. She was supposed to protect him but didn't. That's where she fell short.

Ladies, I would like Angus to be present at this meeting, and given freedom of speech by Gideon. Go Angus!

I was referring to when he was abused. He asked his mother to help him and as you mentioned she did not believe him and that most certainly lead to many of his demons.

His mother basically cut him adrift. Abandoned him, didn't protect him or believe him. Too wrapped up in her own world to see what was happening to her poor defenceless child. At least Monica believed Eva, and acted on it.

Her son broken. The only person Gideon feels he can be himself in front of is Eva. Gideon told his mother what was happening to him when he was younger and she didn't believe him. Since that time he has never let her see the real him again. ###### shame.

Your right. I think we are going to see a very broken Gideon. I hope she can live with the quilt.

Gideon also told Eva the reason he saved Vidal Records was to prevent financial hardship for his mother. His mother is the only one he says "did not love him enough." but when he was in trouble he went to her for help. She would appear to be a strong influence in his life.

I agreed with you about Elizabeth expecting the ring was for Corinne based on Gideon's behavior, past and present. I think that is why she called him to the hospital. I do not think she expected to see Eva. Only Giroux was not surprised.

Eva attacked Elizabeth first at the restaurant. Elizabeth was surprised that Gideon had told Eva about his alleged abuse. He had never shared that before. When Eva stood up to her regarding the ring, Elizabeth felt threatened.

Personally I don't think Liz thinks there is anything wrong with her.  When I asked Sylvia why Liz is the way she is she told me that she believes if she says everything is ok it really is OK.

What will it take for her to see the truth then?
