Whiteybitey
I really enjoyed the Stark series too. You have to go in with a clear head tho and try not to compare to Crossfire. But as someone mentioned the language and sex is quite blunt lol!
GiGi
Ok, just finished the Blackstone series....gotta say...didn't love it Sorry! Idk why! Maybe too predictable? Too I don't know what...I was really looking forward to it too.. Maybe I just compare to the Crossfire Series too much lol  I want to try the Stark series. Is it worth it? The Gabriel series too....I see the first book is over 500 pages!  Just got Losing Hope...want to start that after my romance break when I'm done reading And the Mountains Echoed. Hi Nathallia, Who wrote Losing Hope? If you or one of the ladies in the forum could provide that information, then I can add it to the Master List. Thanks in advance.  GiGi

I actually felt the language and sex were more graphic in Crossfire than the Stark Series but although I did like the series, I felt there was quite a lot of terminology and phrases from FSOG and CF but then I suppose most erotic romance novels are going to have some of the similar phrases.  I loved the drama and romance in the series though
Sheens263
I have just finished reading Cake by Nicole Reed it was so good I would highly recommend it, I cried and laughed and cried again, it gets you at the old heart strings but also makes you laugh out loud.  I read it in 9 hours and would read it again it was so good.  Please go have a look at it, honestly I think you would all love it, the language is like CF and FSOG and Stark but that should not put you off the book itself
GLH
Language--I think most of the books in the genre have similar language.  The Gabriel series is more romantic.  If you are put off by language, then the Rememberance series by Aymes is less so.  Very romantic. Nathalia
Nathalia--loved the Stark series and Gabriel series.  Totally different but loved them both. Ok, I'll give them a try! I just don't want to pay $10 a book and not enjoy it. Only w/ Crossfire will I do that b/c I know I'll enjoy SD books! lol  I loved the Stark Series, but I also loved the Blackstone Series.  If the bluntness of sexual language in the Blackstone books bothered you, then I wouldn't read the Stark series because it too has that language. I read the sample of Release me...it looks good. I don't think the language bothers me too much anymore...lol...not after the Crossfire series...  I really enjoyed the Stark series too. Maybe it's b/c it felt too predictable. I liked the ending...very sweet
azmich
Just finished 'On Dublin Street' and 'Down London Road'-liked them a lot. There's another author, G. E. Griffin-she did a fan fiction of FSOG in Christian's POV, it was good-she put out her first book (I think a trilogy) named 'Starr Fated'. It was quite good. Although there is a cliffhanger-but what would a trilogy be if there wasn't? I think it's only available for e-readers, but I'm glad I downloaded it. GiGi
Hey GiGi  It is a brill book, by the way is the master list saved here somewhere or is it the one you sent me and you save the books we suggest to you on it Hi Sheens, Yes, I have a copy of the Master List and I have been adding the authors to the list as the weeks have progressed. I will post a copy of the list again this month. The only problem with the posting is the way the Master List has been formatted (if that makes sense). On my Master List, I placed spaces between the numbered authors, so that it would be more visually easy to read; but when I post it, the each numbered author is recognized as the first. Hence the 1, 1, 1, 1,....etc. I don't know how to fix;  that sorry ladies.  The Master List has two specific sections; romance and non-romance authors. In that way, each person can decide for themselves, which books they might be interested in. I will post the Updated List now and again during the month if there are any additions. I hope that is ok with you and the ladies.  GiGi

GLH
OMG.  That is some list.  Amazed at how many I read, how many i could read, how many I read and forgot, and how many are so memorable that I will never forget both romance and not.   The really sad thing is if a book is really good, i can read it in a day or 2 having waited months for it.  One of the reasons I love my ipad.  I can reread as often as I want.  Thanks for this list.  No one can ever say there is nothing to read.  lol

Shan
Hi Ladies~ I appreciate SO much all the great recommendations to read. I have recently really enjoyed several of your recommendations. I read The Blackstone Affair series, The Stark Trilogy, On Dublin St. and London Rd. Collide and Pulse. All of them were great, so thank you!  I'm interested in Maya Banks trilogy Rush, Fever and Burn but I'm wondering if it has a lot of BDSM? And if so how heavy? As much or more than 50 Shades? Thank you in advanced for your help.

I think there was more in FSOG. The BDSM was a lot of the story there.
