I am not sure I am reading your post correctly.   If you are responding regarding the photo that Hall  (disturbed individual) had taken  that photo was not taken at Gideon's bachelor party in Brazil.  The photo in question (with 2 women) was taken before he met Eva.  It only surfaced at the time of the bachelor party.  Gideon has not been with other women since he met Eva.

If I am incorrect, please correct my post.

  2. This is not the discussion I thought we would  be having after reading OWY.  I am feeling the same as most of you.  DISAPPOINTED and LET DOWN.  I feel that we waited long enough (Over 1 year) for this book to be released.  I did not mind the wait thinking Sylvia was taking her time closing up all the loose ends (and there were many after the last book).  When I finished reading I just sat there thinking there has to be more.  It just felt UNFINISHED.  There have been many discussions and lists as to all the unanswered questions everyone in this forum hoped would be answered.  I am sure Sylvia and/or her people read through this discussion group.   We know for a fact that she sometimes comes here and answerers questions.  I am just confused why she would leave so many characters storyline unfinished.

Before I mention the loose ends  I would just like to mention the best part of the book was seeing how far Gideon and Eva have come since BTU.  Just opening up to Eva and  agreeing to therapy was a big step for him.  I loved that Eva bought him a dog and enjoyed the interaction between them.  However,  there were too any storylines left unfinished.  I have never felt this disappointed with the last book in a series before.

What I thought could have been left out was the Bachelor/Bachelorette parties.  Neither group partied so why did they need to go to Rio?   Really, was that necessary.  Also, the whole Monica backstory.  I know we wanted to know some things about Monica's backstory, but did we really need what we got.  I felt it was too unrealistic and having her killed was a shock but just opened up more questions.  Why?  Stanton, why did nobody go to him he was devastated.  Gideon sent a test, that's it. Christopher ??    What about Ireland's boyfriend? Showed up at the dinner with his ex-girlfriend.  That's it, storyline over.

Instead of what I listed in the previous paragraph I would rather Sylvia closed the storylines regarding  Cary/Trey/Tatiana.  His relationship was left open regarding Trey. I would have liked to know that Corrine was shipped back to her husband.  Speaking of husband, what about him???  What about the book?   What happened with Anne regarding the police, false accusations that whole storyline.  Deanna, another open end.  Who would want her working for Gideon's company anyway. Gideon and Eva need her as far away from them as possible.

Sorry for the ramble, Im tired, confused and so disappointed with this last book.  I feel we, the readers, deserved a more finished storyline.  I know, I know that was a little harsh but waiting over a year I expected MORE.  One with You was just a disappointing ending to a amazing series.

  3. I am well aware not everyone will be pleased when it comes down to the series.  I know Henry Cavill is a little thick in the upper body lately (he's playing Superman) he needs to be built for the roll.  I mentioned Henry because he was always Sylvia's first choice.  Who I did mention was Richard Madden.  He resembles Henry Cavill (slightly)  dark hair, amazing blue eyes etc.  I really don't have a choice at this time but Richard Madden seems to fit the description.  I am sure there are a lot of actors out there that I am not aware of that would fit the roll.  Eva's roll will also be hard to fill.  Gideon and Eva must have striking good looks to make the average person look twice.

I mentioned Fifty because many people were disappointed.  The reviews were not good.  I think  many people saw the picture more for the nudity.  I like Jamie I have seen him in other rolls and he is a good actor.  I thought his roll a Christian was a little flat.  I envisioned Christian a little more powerful, that's all.  Dakota (thats another story)  In the first chapter of the book, in his head he thinks she is breathtaking.  Dakota is no where near breathtaking.  I just think actors who were more right for the roll just did not want anything to do with the film.  I am far from an expert on any of this but I think if there is going to be a movie/tv series the book description should be as close as possible.  The writer went to great lengths to write specific characters.  I feel when characters are  brought to life, casting should do a better job filling those demands.

This is just my honest opinion.  I am not looking for any arguments.  We are all entitled to have out favorites.  I would just like to seen the character come off the page and not try to figure out who the character is because I don't recognize them.   Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions for Gideon or Eva would love to see who else is out there that would bring these characters to life.

D500    I love David Gandy.  He is quite the handsome man.  But I agree he looks too old.  I think he is early thirties but he does look older.

But he will always be Ethan Backstone to me.  I you have not read the series by Raine Miller, the Blackstone Affair (3 books)  Naked, All In & Eyes Wide Open.  There are also some connecting books with spin off characters.  They are a good read.

OK, I think I said more that enough.  Waiting patiently for One with You.

Please do not shoot the messenger.  This is all in good fun.

  4. I do not post much, but have a thought regarding who might be a good Gideon.  Sorry to whoever suggested Zac Efron, but NO, not only is he too short but he looks like a boy.  Not even close to Gideon's description.  He does not reflect power in any way.  Has anyone considered Richard Madden, he played the Prince in Cinderella 2015, looks a little Henry Cavill-ish and has amazing blue eyes.  However, he is only 5'11", maybe a little short for Gideon.  Henry was Sylvia's first choice, so I think someone with his looks and physical presence would be the best choice.  We do not want another Fifty Shades of Grey with casting.  The casting of that movie was just so wrong.

I agree with you regarding Dakota.  In the book when Anna meets Christian the first time (I think it's the end of the book)  when she smiles he thinks to himself she is BREATHTAKING.  I know this will sound harsh but I do not find Dakota attractive and definitely not breathtaking.  Also her hair seems to be a mess throughout the entire movie from the scenes released.  I'm not 100% on board with Jamie as Christian but he is a good actor and I am getting use to seeing him in the trailer's.  As far as the descriptions in the book, the only actors that seen to fit are Kate (wasn't she a redhead in the book ?) and Christian's driver.  Can't remember his name, was it Jason(first or last name ?)  As of today I have no interest in seeing the movie.  I would like to keep my VISUAL from the book intact.

I think the movie will do well mostly because of curiosity regarding the sex scenes.  I also think Dakota's acting seems a little flat in the trailer's.

Please do not reply with a negative response to this post, this is just my honest opinion.  I know we all have out favorite actors we would like to see in these roles.  I just think many actors did not want to be part of this film and shooting was close to starting and the actors that were chosen DO NOT COME CLOSE TO THEIR DESCRIPTION IN THE BOOK .

This is my first post but I have been following Sylvia and the Crossfire series from the beginning.

I'm not sure but I do not think Sylvia would appreciate discussion regarding 50 Shades on her site.  Maybe someone can start a discussion group somewhere more appropriate.  Don't want to take away from CROSSFIRE by discussing 50 Shades here.  I would love to here more opinions once the movie is released.  Sorry if i offended anyone.
