Sylvia - sounds as if you had a lovely holiday and more good publishing news!!!! Congrats on the new request - maybe that will get EC moving on their offer to you :prayer: I had a very nice holiday. Even better, my dh and I are off to Hawaii tomorrow to visit his parents WHO LIVE THERE - do I know how to pick a hubby or what??? 8). I'll check in from there.

I promise to say hello when I pop by. I check yours, Sylvia's, Jordan's ,Sasha's, Alison's and a few others almost every day. Gee, you'd think I could be a bit mroe social :oops: I will do better.....

Sylvia - Love the pedicure idea. We should all do that one My goals:

-get in better shape (this is one of those EVERY year goals)

-not get down about the trying-to-get-published journey

-push myself out of my comfort zone - I tend to be an introvert and

lurker on the blogs and boards

-stay focused and keep plugging away in my writing life

-not let my day job get me down

-balance work and family a bit better

-not sweat the little things

-get my manuscript to Alison (35 pages only- don't panic Alison) in a reasonable time so she can do the critique
