Since we are discussing pronunciation of names, does anyone know how we are supposed to pronounce Magdalene? I've wondered this since is first started reading the stories and it kills me every time I come across her name. Thanks for any help with this.

I will hear her name in the next chapter and report back. I am listening to BTY audio book now.

Yep. She pronounces it "Ava." OK. I need to go and digest this! Hahahahaha!

Totally off-topic, and I apologize, but I am listening to BTY in audiobook. I have always read Eva as Eeeeva, but I guess it's Ava? Anyone else think that?

One quick question about Magdalene:

Do you think Gideon had already asked her to the advocacy dinner (Magdalene), then dumped her when Eva said yes. He had only known Eva for about a week/less than a week, right? Any date of Gideon's would have had to know about the dinner in advance in order to get a dress, make appointments for hair, nails etc. Could that be one of the many reasons Magdalene was so mad at Eva that night?

West Coaster here! Any time is fine. I just wanted to say "THANK YOU!!!" for writing the Reader's Guide. I borrowed the books from the library, so I don't have them in front of me. I am on the waitlist, but I am number 12. Not sure when I am going to get to read them again. But, I am second in line for the audio book, so Woohoo!

I know Henry Cavill is often mentioned as a possibility for the role of Gideon, but he's a Brit, and I personally favor an American born actor Matt Bomer, who currently starts in the TV series White Collar. His film credits include Flightplan. His most striking feature is the same as Gideon's -- very striking blue eyes.

Hi Sylvia, I would like to know if the redhead who told Eva she was a fortunate young lady at the Advocacy dinner was Mrs.Lucas or just an erroneous person. By the way, thanks for the first chapter on May 7th as you can read on the blogs your fans are getting desperate LOL
