  1. HI Ladies~

I need your help, I want CBY the quickest way possible, LOL.  So, do I preorder it from Amazon or where ever, of do I go to Target on Tuesday 11/18? What is the best way to get CBY in my hot little hands the fastest? And if I do order from Amazon, do I order the actual book, or do I order the download on to my Kindle? Thank you!

    Shannon

  2. Hi Shannon,

The topic is alive. You can find it on The Sylvia Day Fan Comunity/Welcome centre/Introductions and  general discussions/Books as good as the Crossfire Series or following this link:'?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>

GiGi has the updated list up to this month, and as she said on that topic, she'll e-mail a copy to you if you send her your email.

    Hope that helps

    G

Thank you SO much G!  I'm so glad it is still up and running :) Sorry it took me so long to reply, I've been on a business trip, thanks again~

  3. Hi Ladies~

Can someone tell me where the topic about other Books went?  GiGi had made a list of Books with authors names, they were books that we all recommended. These were suggestions to hold us over until CBY comes out..... I'm beginning to think it won't be released until 2014, sadly... Any-who if anyone can help me, I would greatly appreciate it!!

    Sincerely, Shannon

  4. Hi Shannon--

I have read 3 of the books and so far, no BDSM at all.  I like that.  The se x is part of the story and only where it belongs.  The books are about a family of men who are kind of like mercenaries but for good to help rescue.  Very gripping.  Suspenseful.  Totally different from her BREATHLESS books.  They are full of BDSM.  In those books, the se x is the primary focus of the story.  Not so with the KGI books.  Nice change of pace.

Thank you GLH, Sharon and GiGi for answering my question. I just finished reading the Breathless trilogy and I just don't care for the whole dominance thing (BDSM). I love books with a rich powerful man, with hot se.x  but not to crazy about the BDSM.  I'm going to start reading Gabriel's Inferno next, it looks like this series is well liked. Thanks again ladies.

  5. I just reread this whole thread since I finished UNLOCKED, the final book in the Alpha series.  It was good and as I said, better if you read all 3 books at once.  I thought about ALL the books I have read recently and have come to the conclusion that Sylvia's books for the most part are my favorites, but I adore the THIS MAN  series next to hers,  Then the GABRIEL books.  Loved the STARK series a lot also but I think because Stark reminds me a lot of Gideon.  Still number one man.

So, I read the BEAUTIFUL series.  I read the ON DUBLIN ST. series.  JANE'S MELODY.  RUSH, BURN, FEVER.  THE REMEMBRANCE series.  Scared myself by how many books iI read.

What would you ladies recommend next? The master list is daunting with so many books.  HELP!!!!!

    Hi GLH~

I can recommend Collide and Pulse by Gail McHugh and The Blackstone Affair by Raine Miller, these were all very good. I have read most of what you have read here except Jane's Melody, The Remembrance series and Unlocked. I would be curious if they are similar to the other books we seem to both like? Oh I also read the book Tangled by Emma Chase, it was a good book.

  6. I highly recommend the THIS MAN  series.  It is different.  There is a little BDSM but very, very little considering the plot and it is there for a reason.  CROSSFIRE is by far my favorite series., but this is definitely in the top 5 groups of books.  I love that it takes place in London.  I love the British slang.  I love the 2 main characters and the plot twists are something else.  I never tire of Jesse. I would love other people

    s opinions on this trilogy.

I just finished this series as well and posted a comment it about it here. I loved all three books, I would put this series up there with the Crossfire series. I Definitely recommend This Man Trilogy.

  7. I just finished reading This Man Trilogy by Jodi Ellen Malpas, WOW!!  I really enjoyed it, if you love the Crossfire Series then IMO you will love this too. I SO appreciate all the suggestions from everyone, every book  I've read that was recommended here I've really enjoyed. I seem to really love books about rich powerful men who fall deeply in love! Now I have to figure out what book(s) to read next, hmmmm any suggestions?

  8. Hi Ladies~ I appreciate SO much all the great recommendations to read. I have recently really enjoyed several of your recommendations. I read The Blackstone Affair series, The Stark Trilogy, On Dublin St. and London Rd. Collide and Pulse. All of them were great, so thank you!

I'm interested in Maya Banks trilogy Rush, Fever and Burn but I'm wondering if it has a lot of BDSM? And if so how heavy? As much or more than 50 Shades? Thank you in advanced for your help.

  9. She said before the end of the year.  I vote to move the end of the year to Sept.

    HI Sharon~

I just want to say thank you for sharing all your information with us! I really enjoyed reading all your posts. You are so lucky to have been able to get to meet Sylvia and ask her questions.  Thank you again for asking her questions and sharing her answers with us. ~ Shannon

  10. What really seems strange to me is how so many people were angered by the extra books being planned. I love getting deeper into the different people and seeing the development of their characters and the webs of connection. To me one of the hallmarks of the best novels and movies, is they have engaging secondary characters and back stories. And I look forward to learning their stories and I want to see good things happening in their lives. Think of all the vivid "extras" SD has created: Mark, Steve, Shawna, Martin, Angus, Clancy , Megumi, Cary, Trey, Victor, Ireland, and some of the more problematic like, Monica, Elizabeth, Brett, Magdalena, and of course the bad guys we dislike so intensely. Even Daniel at the gym has a lively spark to him.

    What's the big rush?

I could not agree with you more! When I was reading some comments from others on Sylvia's facebook and comments on Amazon. I was shocked that people were angry because there will be more books. I was thinking, are you crazy? The more the better, I don't want the series to stop at 5.  As far as I'm concerned she can just keep on writing about Gideon and Eva and I'll keep on buying!

  11. I agree I think fan input and ideas should be taken seriously. I am still trying to recover from hearing the rumour last week that Robert Pattison could be playing Mr Grey!! He is not my Mr Grey or alot of people I know!! I will go into meltdown if they cast someone who is not our Gideon!!! :(

I agree, Robert Pattison is no Christen Grey. Casting the right person is SO important for Gideon and Eva, I think Sylvia will make sure they get it right.

  12. Hiya.

I agree. Brett is unfinished business. This ghost needs laying to rest.

Dr Travis hopefully will feature in the next book. I'm hoping we get to hear about their past chats with the good doctor. With him hopefully setting Cary back on the right path, and hearing how much stronger Eva is.

When I read your post just now, I thought of something. When Eva goes to San Diego, I'm sure Gideon will too. Maybe Gideon will get to spend sometime with Dr. Travis.  He has been such huge help to both Eva and Cary, maybe he can help Gideon work through some of his nightmares.

  13. Am I delusional to think CBY can come out between her other books in September ? I mean , if its finished and her publisher got enough backlash, wouldn't they want to make the readers happy and release ASAP?. Hopefully? :)

Can't wait for snippets ....bring on the torcher(sp?) ....why do I not know how to spell that word lol ?

You ladies are so much fun to read!

Corinne needs to be gone ASAP ...same for Deanna ...and Brett ....can we not just have healing w our couple and a beautiful , drama free wedding ? I'm so excited for it ! I imagine Eva in a fitted lace gown w a dramatic train/veil. Sigh....can't wait !

I totally agree with you! September would be PERFECT!!!
