I read first  3 chapters  of FSOG and I just gave  up lol  ..

I loved it! One section of in particular brought tears to my eyes when I heard it on the audio book. It's the part in Chapter 6 when Angus plays for Gideon the tape of Eva going after Anne. 

Angus, "She'll stand by you."

Gideon, "If my past goes public? Yes, she will."

Sylvia ended the saga with strong New Eva and still-healing Gideon on their honeymoon, giving us fans each our own opportunity to envision how happily-ever-after unfolds for GidEva. Here are some short-term developments I imagine unfolding upon GidEva's return to New York:

Anne Lucas will be charged in connection with Monica's murder, and as the court case unfolds, Hugh's sordid past will finally come to public light. In a way, he will be prosecuted at long last. Also, the revelations about Terrance Lucas' role in covering up the abuse will finally come out. Gideon's past as a sexually-abused child will cause most people to admire him for what how he overcame adversity and turned his private pain into a desire to help abuse victims via charities.

Corrine won't publish her book. The revelations about Anne and Hugh will make her finally understand why Gideon wouldn't -- couldn't -- marry her all those years ago. She will at long last throw in the towel.

I think I can finally trust Detective Graves to make sure Gideon is never prosecuted for Nathan's death.

I think Deanna won't take the job, because she'll be too spiteful about the face Eva had been the person who suggested Cross Industries hire her. I think Deanna will instead opt to make money writing free-lance stories about Gideon as the Lucas scandal unfolds. Eva will be more than her match in Team GidEva crisis management as Deanna's stories run, and so even though Deanna will probably get paid big bucks by tabloid media, Eva will win the war.

The revelations about the Lucases will start the process that heals the rift between Gideon and his half-brother, Christopher.

Elizabeth will continue to stick her head in the sand, but hey -- Gideon's already made his peace with the fact his mother is self-centered and weak, so he's now past caring how she responds to the news coverage.

Oh, and I think that Arnoldo and Shawna will end up together.

P.S. I think Gideon's dream in which his father wishes for a grandson and a grand-daughter has a shade of precognition to it: several years down the road, Gideon and Eva will have two children. A girl they'll name Lauren in honor of Eva's late mother. A boy they'll name Gideon Geoffrey Cross Jr.

Agree to  all of this . But I would love Elizabeth to see Dr. Petersen .. I think she really needed the help  upon the suggestion of Gideon and their  family with Chris would start  healing too ..  But Shawna has  a BF you're breaking them  up  , I would go for Arnoldo and Megumi  and Corrine would go back in France with Giroux after she personally apologize  to Gideon and Eva  after she found out  that Anne Lucas posing  psychiatrist in a pseudo  name used her . Oh and she would  file a case against Anne Lucas  too..    I would hope for Victor to not  accept the job from Gideon  instead wold work with Graves  ..(if Graves is not married  .. well they could be together  ).

I dont think Gideons' sexual abuse would be known in public even if Anne  got prosecuted because Hugh did not mentioned those in his notes .. (or I have to reread that part) because Gideon said HUgh lied on everything  about his  session with him  . But even if it goes public . Gideon would have the public sympathy though and he would have the respect of everyone .

She didn't get money for the wedding pictures...one point for Gideon...

She did possibly accept a job with Crossfire...one point Deanna...

Hi it was Arash who  told Gideon about the ghostwriter . Gideon was offering her a job kindly for all the  financial lost . Cancelled contract as a ghostwriter,  sex tape ,  and wedding pictures. Deanna hasn't started writing  the book since Corrine  found out about her and Gideon  .. For me, Gideon was taking the higher ground .  Maybe it would pacify  the hatred Deanna has for him  with this gesture.

Yes,  Eva did add  Reyes to her name   but that was after they got married when Gideon asked her.  So if Monica still opted to use Tramell for Eva then its for practicality reason  .. Keeping their lives  away from her past to be discovered .  Re: Victor  - I assumed he was a small time  cop and not really came from a wealthy family . I dont think he had what Monica  wants and needs  .. stability and security  and power that money could provide  on a  long term basis  .

Also if trying to hide her identity why give Eva her name "Lauren Trammell"? Surely it makes far more sense to give Eva the Reyes name.

3. Why would she fight to give her daughter the name of the man who abused both her and her sister? The man she killed? 
4. Why not give Eva the Reyes name and drop the Trammell as soon as she remarried? 

It doesn't make any sense!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

But she can't use the Reyes  because she and Victor were not married. Assuming ,  Victor would want to marry her she would have to come clean about her  real name  and her background. I mean  if Victor  found out she was the sister of a gang rape victim and she married the accused rapist  .. the shame and confusion  .. My best guess to why used the Monica Tramell because that name was clean  as the book said  the Tramells ' value their reputation.  ..  she has to give the Tramell to Eva because technically  she was married to him  . 

Monicas' death was  shocking  and sad but I never thought it as out of placed. In every final installment of series there's always gonna be an  unpleasant twist or collateral damage  . and we all love Monica so it us all . it could  be any of them  Victor , Cary ,  Chris - but none of these characters  were as colorful and as curious and secretive as Monica. We would never asked why Victor do that? He was a simple cop a simple man  .. We knew everything about Cary  .. Chris was a as fine as dandy  .. So out of these characters Monica was the one who we would most asked and it has been in every book ?  Why does she value money so much  .. why was she on edge every time., why does she  wished Eva and Gideon a peaceful life out of the public.. why she opposed Eva so much about going against Corrine on  photo press   and why  she doesn't like Gideon  went on that interview?   Out of all the sub characters she was the one who has most contributions and very involved  on Evas life. Everything that she did was for Evas' welfare and the hidden twin sister.  

I did say it wasn't out of placed because Angus said  to Gideon in OWY that during that time when they're collecting  infos about Eva  - they still have that one guy who they paid to give them an update everytime something about the Tramell  ..  and  Eva was thinking  of getting in touch  with her  grandparents  .  Angus said  that the guy told them that the Tramell couple died and it raised a questioned why Monica did not mentioned it. Gideon has it on his mind , the  mystery of it and wanted to dig further and Angus  have had other  info about it already .   So the Monica backstory was brewing  ..its already taking its place  where it should be  . Monica Stanton was the third act .

It might be as s*** as to say  goodbye to Monica that way but I look at it at different perception. Sylvia Day sent her off  with flying colors  .. with me admiring Monica Stanton . The Brave  woman  .. who suffer in silence ,  who  unselfishly  left the man she truly loves so that she can protect her child and  take care  of her sister . Who must be scared everyday that the  one secret she  hid would be discover and it will break Eva , it will break Stanton , it will break Victor, it will break her. So knowing her backstory  and the way it ends  ..  was how it supposed to be .   

 gah I wish Monica was shot  .. was on surgery  .. and was healing and she  will arrange the wedding again for Gideon and Eva  . I wish she wasn't the sacrificial lamb .. but Sylvia was different .  She didn't tell you how to spell  a HAPPY ENDING  ., she  gave you letters to spell HAPPY ENDING  .. and its just so happened we all are different readers with different opinion 

Like me  for an example.. Nipple sucking and fingering  (Jesus I cant believe Im saying this ..)  wasnt an act of sex or  F(&^***  .. but was a very sexual foreplay act  (i dont  even know if i said it right hope someone got what I mean  lol)  so for me  there's no inconsistency  on Gideons' behavior  when to use his pad. 

 .  And thats make this forum interesting .. we get to read each others reasoning ..  so thats it for right now  ..

Actually Cary and Eva did have doubts about the baby being his. They discussed this when Cary told Eva about the pregnancy. But he did say it was within the timeframe so he felt he had to step up. Eva discussed him getting a paternity test once the baby was born. Cary felt like he had to go with helping her because of how his own mother had used abortion as birth control and that haunted him. And remember Cary said something like he didn't think so, but just because you put a sock on it doesn't mean it can't happen.

I would still like to know if Dr. Terry Lucas would be charged with a crime. Of course, Gideon would have to go public and I don't know if they would want to go public with that or not.

In regards to Christopher and Chris. Chris said he didn't tell Christopher about Gideon. So you think Christopher, put together what happened to Gideon. I'm  not sure about that. It was still something I would like the full story on instead of guessing. I also couldn't figure out if someone told Christopher that his brother wanted to kill them all. Was that in Hugh's notes? That part was a little confusing, but I may need to reread.  This was such a big part of the book, that a quick talk with his dad and everything was hunky dory!

I know that you could deduce some things from what was written, but I like clarification on the major themes throughout the series. But that is just me. Yes, it was Gideon and Eva story but the other characters were woven in there so well (a tribute to Sylvia's writing) that I was invested in them as well.

About FSOG(Christian's pov) I probably will not buy the next one! The first one was 75% the same stuff. And while I realize there will be some crossover, there was really very little of it  was actually new text. I have read other series were authors wrote from the hero's pov and it was really all their thoughts and actions between the times and all new text. So I won't go there again unless I read reviews that it is better this time.

I guessed what Chris explained to Christopher  was the part that Hugh (according to his  notes)  was brain washing Christopher by telling him that  Gideon wanted to kill him and it was easy to believe that time  specially if Gideon was really a kid with too much anger and uncontrollable.  and this has been the root of their misunderstanding. 

I actually started reading Bared To You  again.. I cant believe Im not waiting for another  Gideon and Eva  book next year. I never really got impatient just  anticipation .... this series was really closed to me emotionally .

No idea if this could be the scenario and we're not going to know but as we all know he was very private about sex it is probable that the booth was one that could be closed off but even if it were private, other than him being so drunk he was not worried about being in the f**pad it is so unlike the character we've read about.

Occasionally they are rented out / reserved for private parties, however most of the time they are simply an exclusive room or area of a club reserved for visiting VIPs. When they aren't reserved the staff decide who gets in depending on who's at the club that night - whether any celebrities are there / who's spending highly/ who's best dressed etc... 

We know that Gideon spent Cinco de Mayo clubbing with his friends, so it stands to reason that they were also present in the VIP section. In fact, the presence of the photographer who took that photo indicates that the VIP area was not reserved specifically for Gideon and his friends that night and therefore a number of strangers were present, and the area was not private. 

Finally I just found a quote from Captivated by You which confirms my belief that these actions were totally out of character with Gideon's persona...

A complete 360 turnaround for him!!! This part frustrated me greatly especially because it was just so unnecessary!! 

I was thinking if these  guys  were  going out  .. its not out of the  blue  . they planned it because they were all busy  people so they  must have reserved it.   When Gideon reacted  .,, reading between the lines ,, the VIP  room was supposedly  private  so the  photographer was a surprised to him .. so what would be the VIP room like in New York then??? if anyone can answer as I have no clue lol   .. because   your example  in UK is  invalid  (no offense meant )  since it happened in New York.. it must be a different  set up  and before  that Arash has already  mentioned  the Cinco De  Mayo with Gideon being with 2 women  before the bachelors  party  so its not out of the blue .. but reading  back it would play a part  so Sylvia was  dropping hints..  I guess  Sylvia put this situation to test or  validate  the stability  of trust between the Gideon and Eva  .. w/o Brett and Corrine  in the picture ..

Too many inconsistencies with this book compared to the last four books.. that the editor, SYLVIA, didn't pick up on...such as...

1. They way Gideon acted around Monica and Stanton when they spent the weekend together. Yes he probably didn't want to be hugged, but annoyed they were calling by his name instead of his last name???? When he met Victor, he was attentive and present in the conversation. He wanted to make good impression.  Yet with her mom and Stanton, he acted like a brat.  So unlike him from previous books.  "Sylvia had made a point from book  one  that Gideon was always on  his own  ..  he has no family in the real sense  of it.  In one with you .. obviously  the transition of having in laws  was slown and  Gideon doesn't accept affection   .. he was always weary. He would preferred to be called "Cross" more  informal  less affectionate. but he was trying .. proof was his relationship with Chris vidal.   When he met  Victor  - it was  a man-to-man approach . Gideon knew  how Eva loves  his father and his  opinion matters  to him   Gideon would do everything  to get Victor  approval . Its his mission ,but both guys weren't affectionate to each  other .  They were competitive  to  who should protect and take care of Eva."

5. The way he spoke to her after they returned from Rio.  He told her to stop nagging? WHAT??? He never spoke to her like that even if he was joking.  And calling her a grumpy angel. Never heard him speak like that...thru 4 books...never!!!!  I know it's not horrible or abusive...just isn't the way he speaks to her...especially after that photo of him had just been released. He be attentive and careful.  So unlike him. And she wanted to F$%k him in his suit , cause she says she had never done that before??? OH YEAH SHE DID. In her room in the book Entwined with You. (i'm too mentally drained to look for exact spot so if i'm wrong let me know...lol) I'm sure it was the morning after their first night together since their "break up". " this seems to me a  funny , sarcastic banter  between  husband and wife.  I found it really endearing though"  

6. She gives him the dog.. a gift from his Angel.. and yes, I get he wasn't thrilled to have a puppy, but to hear him worry about his "priceless rugs"...... I feel not a Gideon thing to say. In Entwined to You he wasn't worried about her scratching his Ashton Martin....a very exspensive car, but rugs... really??? " That's Gideon dry rumor  .. It was a change .. if he really was  concerned about the carpet  I guess he would just keep the dog  in one place and  not running around .. but the dog has  beds everywhere ,, even a fake grass "

7. To make the decision to have her dad be her body guard??? I love my Dad, but to have in involved in my day to day dealings and then witness intimacies between me and my husband on a daily basis...no thank you.  He made decisions for her that ultimately will cause him trouble down the road.  "Gideon warned Victor about the intimacy though  . I dont think Victor would meddle with Eva and Gideon intimacy.. they were  husband and wife , hot for each other always.  as far as I can remember he thought of it  . But before that he really wants to hire another security  for Eva  . I guess what happened to Monica sealed that decision  and Victor  being there  gave him the idea but did not really brought  it up until Victor  said it"

In the epilogue, he tells her something about finding a job (not sure exact wordage as only read the book once) because he doesn't want to hold her back...that was a cough out.  Give us something substantial...they broke up for a bit over him wanting her to leave her job...I didn't want a small blurb about it in epilogue...and yes I know she MAY work with the foundation but not definite.  And really wasn't it just an offer to show up to functions that Gideon couldn't attend?? No office, no workplace comradely. No friends to lunch with. He setting himself up for a very unhappy Eva soon. "Gideon was involving  Eva  on his work  . I think it is a  progress and  Eva has friends  ..I mean how many times  did she have lunch with Steven and Mark..  Eva knew it too that she needs to find a job that would fit her and  she has  so many opportunities in Crossfire  not just foundation. Gideon asked her to head the Crisis  management too  in Cross Industries"

9. The way it ended left me thinking that this couple still have a lot of issues to work on cause Gideon definitely getting the upper hand and Eva just along for the ride. (exactly what she didn't want to do...or be).  She's his arm candy now. She losing herself in him....just what she was afraid of. "I completely disagree with you though .   They were a solid couple already  . Listening to each other and involving each other  to every decision. This was the crux  of this story. and Gideon would never let Eva  lose  herself and Eva was happy  at the end of the story " 

10. He's a young, hot business man worth 12 billion. Where is his entourage of security? Angus? Rauol?  That's it? Never heard him mention plain clothed security detail till this book.  Why not have that on Eva when Nathan was a threat? But to only have three guys?? I bet the writers of the T.V. series will have more security on them both, to make it more realistic.  "Gideon, Raul and Angus worked  in secret  . Eva doesn't know  about Nathan showed again. Her secret  is  very delicate  . No one should know to protect Eva.  or else  his plan of killing Nathan would be jeopardize"

11. Stanton all alone.  No one thought to check on him.  Get in touch with Clancy to make sure heisok. (since Stanton wasn't answering the phone). My God.. the way he protected Eva's history and paid for her apartment, and the way he loved her mom.  They ignore him? Leave to deal with this alone (perhaps Martin is there)."didn't Gideon mentioned during  the  funeral that Stanton recoiled when he saw Eva and Gideon said its hard to  watch Eva and Cary trying to comfort Stanton and that he hoped  when they come back from honeymoon that Stanton  would be able to look at Eva  without reminding  him of Monica.So maybe  , Stanton shied away from Eva " 

12. The Victor and Monica love story ... how everything she did, she did for love ?  Well why didn't she go back to the love of her life after she divorced Nathan's dad.  She would have had lots of money. "This was my take on this .. Monica came from nothing ,  her sister had a traumatic experience with people from money  ,  she was abused physically to some extent  , Eva  got abused  but  money  sealed  that traumatic experience for Eva  .. Nathan is still around  ..  so she needs  the power and money to  keep Eva  safe. I think most importantly its the power of wealthy rich men.. to pull strings  like what Stanton pulled off . Like what Gideon can pulled off .  As far as I can remember  she  only got few millions from Nathan's father so I dont think that's enough plus the  medical care her sister needs.. 

 

 

Some were just nitpicking and harsh .. Its annoying me  . 

I love how Sylvia wrapped up this book  .. and Im very happy how it ended and very sad I have to say goodbye to  Gidoen and Eva.

 It doesn't need to answer everything  - or solved everything  because life its not like that. It takes time to heal and  to make progress.  I believed this series was all about Gideon and Eva .. their story, how they become a solid couple , work together with their issues  and  be together as they move forward to their future . I think we all wished that she tied up all the issues cleanly - she did somehow. But Corrine, Deanna, Brett and other characters were just  breadcrumbs to the life Gideon and Evas' building. Its always about Gideon and Eva - they were the core of this story and where Sylvias ' left them was a great happy place. Did Corrine book come out .. I would not really care ..as far as Gideons' concerned (and my concerned) he cut the tie with Corrine already and so as to his mother who still refused to accept what happened to him after he bared  his soul to her . He close that chapter already there's no point for Gideon moaning and be tormented about it .. It will halt his progress for healing if he wont let go .Did Deanna took the offer Gideon offered , I dont care really . Brett was foregone since Captivated by You .. why would I want him to be back in the scene again .. Cary can have his own spinned off if we want to follow his life. Tatiana is not Gideon and Evas' problem at all. Stanton was grieving we all know and Evas was there for him . Many others overlooked  the fact that Gideon has no family .. in real sense of it .. and the last book gave him that . He has  Evas' family and Chris family.  He started  building the bridge  with Christopher because he really wanted that.  It was one thing he truly need as he has been battling on his own for so long until Eva . So basically if we want all answers to be detailed - Sylvia should write 10 books instead (I would love that though)   and some people  forgot that the 5 books took place between 3-4 months in the story. So as far as my understanding, Gideon and Eva were a solid couple, the other issues she left it like " progressing" and "as it happened" like how the reality flows and they will deal with it head on - TOGETHER .That was the after imagination Sylvia  left to me .  

Can I just say Sylvia has  given Monica   a really great way to go . She was a big part of this story more than the others and  knowing  her life back then , what  she sacrificed for .. I  salute Monica Tramell Stanton .

It was in a VIP area  was it .. it is supposed to be  private  ..  so what he does in private he assumed was private  .. he is not having sex he was  a guy out with his  friends  being bad and naughty while super drunk  .. so if someone cleverly got a picture ..  paparazzi was really good.     why was this an issue  .. The guy who took the photo must be the same guy who stalked Gideon  .. who never sold the  photos  unless  he needs money  .I would assumed he sold it to the press  after being  encouraged  by Dr. Lucas  ..  now my only questioned was "where is Cinco de Mayo"  ..    

In today's Amazon UK reviews there is an interesting one from 'Tez Miller' who appears to see Gideon in a different light to how most see him. Reviewer has definitely read the book (I suspect a lot of the other 'reviewers' have either not bothered to read it or skimmed through it and missed a lot of the subtle points) but I'm not sure if they have really understood what Sylvia is trying to get across in this story? (I'm very much open to other points of views on this as, of course, I could be misinterpreting the story Sylvia is writing.)

The lead in to the review is "TRIGGER WARNINGS: Rape, sexual abuse, stalking, psychological abuse." You'll need to read the review to see why these words are used. The stalking I think we all understand is actually Gideon's need for Eva to be safe, particularly after Nathan and of course with what we now know about Anne.

I think that Sylvia has said that there will be only 5 books I agree it should be more, but maybe it will be a long book with many chapters. All the books were a day by day accounting of their daily lives, maybe she is going to jump into the future and have some flashbacks to explain some things.

 

 

i dont get why people dont understand the theres-no-leap-in-time approach.  the only issue here i wanted to be resolved on its own spin off is Carys story because it was complex, Eva cant spent the her time in book 5 solving Carys' issues.  the rest were side dish story that shows Gideon and Eva's daily life. Im not interested to find out how, when and where Mark and Steven will get married ..  

 

I believed Brett and Deanna was resolved  . Corinne would be probably be wrapped up in the first few chapters  of OWY  depends if her books would be published  or not. She is not a threat except if Eva would be childish getting hurt  by reading Gideons' past relationship with Corinne which I hope she shouldn't because in book 5 I hope that their love and trust for each other was solid enough to get tied  up all the issue.

 

for me these are the  only issues remain though ..  Anne Lucas which was major and threatening, fixing Gideons' relationship with his family, major  progress  in his therapy that would lead to him and Eva not sleeping separately anymore , Evas' transfer to Cross industries and the wedding.

 

I think LanCorp was just a means to have a major crack between Eva and Gideon re Work so dont think theres more to it that would majorly shaken  book 5. it seems Lancorp and Cross industries is in  a healthy aggressive business competition - which is very common to big corporation. Landcorp trying to outsmart Gideon , Gideon trying to block him . as he said, they poke each other almost every week. What happened to Megumi was a means for Eva to consider working in Crossroads.

 

I think Elizabeth would come clean and apologize ( she should probably have a therapy with Gideon too)  and make an effort to change toward Eva   because her  marriage is on the  line. She wouldn't risk to lose it all and Gideon wouldn't let that happened because despite all the hurt and shamed ,he loves her mother. The whole Vidal family should got to therapy  .. so everyone would forgive themselves and get pass the grievance and blaming stage. 

 

That reviewer annoyed me a lot .. I almost replied to his review and ask for a war.. whay does he want an epilogue in book  4, the story is not over, ridiculous and talking about children ... grrrrr!  ..   and even Arnoldo , he is just a friend to show Gideons' social skills  . Mr. Giroux .. the man must be busy now running the casino Gideon has sold to him while waiting for his divorce .. 

 

some readers they asked for more but they complained  that its taken  book  5. I feel sorry for Sylvia  Im just glad  it was a bestseller .

I've done  my second reading , slowly, and at the end of the book Im taking Arnoldos' side in regards to how I felt toward Eva. I would only like Eva  so as long she made Gideon happy but I really dislike her  stands towards her career and  how she  reacted and left for  4 days and how Gideon begged for her to come back or phoned him. The fact she couldn't decide if she could leave with him if he doesn't change  or if she could forgive him because  of what he did . Im really angry at Eva and my heart broke for Gideon. He deserves so much more.  Her career was a  minor  problem compared to what Gideon has done for her  and  to with her freedom taken away by Gideon when Gideon  gave it back to her. Gideon has been respecting her needs to be an  independent woman.  Im not happy with Eva after all. And I just realized  why Gideon was so hesitant to tell her everything and to not include her  to decision making.. because she hasn't fully given herself to Gideon . Eva not fully embracing  her new status as Cross wife makes Gideon really scared that she would still leave him  even though they were married. So he controlled things  that way he knew how.

 

I really hope  in One with you Eva would stop her attitude with regards to her self preservation,  and start to act as Gideon wife not only in bed because Eva is fast becoming my least fave heroine for hurting Gideon. 

Perhaps he didn't want to answer yes haha

lol no .. the sex swing was very intimate act  .. he used his on Eva .. and he said he dont used it to avoid problem thats why he has sex toys.. so i believe he hasn't done it. 

Of course the sooner the better but February might be too soon for the publisher to coordinate a big release like that...

I read the february from facebook  .. but probably gossip..  i hope  soon though 

Cary is getting  on my nerves ..  he loves to give advice and criticize but hard headed to listen or to take one. He is becoming ungrateful . He created the problem himself so I would really love for him to have his  own book -  a spin off or something ..

Eva thinks Gideon has used the sex swing before since he seemed so familiar with the harnesses....

I dont think he has done it before .. was it in EWY where they talking about fantasies and Gideon mentioned the sex swing and Eva asked  if he has done it before .. Gideon replied (not exact word) she shouldn't be asking questioned like that .

I think February is possible if the book as Sylvia said is already written and edited. I also think there has been some talk by indie authors about capitalizing on the FSOG release and maybe having more readers interested in the genre. The sooner the better on one hand, but then that will end their story and I'll miss them.

they said the 5th book would be released not far from  book 4. I would think 3 months should be  ok specially when most readers complained about book  4 very late release not that it affect book  4 sales. i dont one it to be finished as well.. it would be sad

I think the sex with Corrine started out vanilla, but it's my theory that he started getting kinky after they got engaged. He felt panicked the whole year of the engagement. I can see him feeling like his rigid in-control started spinning out of control when she essentially backed him into an emotional corner. He responded by acting out in bed. I think it was that realization their sex life was not normal that was the real reason she broke off the engagement. Maybe even he unconsciously figured out scaring her was working. He was relieved she ended things.

 

This makes me wonder about the tell-all book, what will be in there about him sexually if she does publish it. Gideon's worried Eva is going to react to it the same way he reacted to the sex tape. So this makes me wonder what sexual secrets might be there. He's also figured out Corrine is no longer the woman he knew years ago. That she's willing to give up her privacy and violate his shows she's continuing to act crazy. How's this for a theory: She thinks his relationship with Eva is all about fighting and f...... The only hold Eva has on him is sexual because she's willing to do what he wants in bed. So Corrine has this crazy idea about reminding him their old relationship was all about comfort with hot f...... too. She is now willing to give him whatever he wants in bed so long as she can have him. So the book serves two purposes: driving Eva away in jealous rage and reminding Gideon the way he was with her in bed years ago.

 

Who knows whether I'm right or it's a crazy guess. We'll see when the last Crossfire book comes out: does she go through with the tell-all and if so what is in there. Or at least we readers get a look into Gideon's memories of Corrine in the hotel room like we did get a look into some of his memories of Anne in the hotel room.

I dont think Gideon  got kinky with Corrine and as Gideon said he got panicked when they got engage because marrying Corrine is not an option  . He cant tell his secret, she broke the engagement thinking Gideon would finally come to his senses and actually marry her . I think GIdeon treated Corrine smooth and slow, He seems to have used his toys to his one night stand . But Corrine said he was possessive and it scared her. So what does it mean? if im going to be honest I would like to know what is the book . I want to know the young Gideon . I believe it would not be degrading because even if Corinne was  hurt  and crazy I dont think  she would intentionally hurt Gideon that way. all she want was to proved to him that he did  love her after all. I think it was Elizabeth and Corrine  who is tag team. How did Corrine knew about elizabeth ring given to eva.

Id like to see a May release...

i think Brett, Sam and Gideon were the only one that has a hard copy. I dont think Chris Jr has . He must have a copy digitally which either sent by Yamara but i dont think he did because in EWY Gideon traveled to Chicago to asked for court order the moment Deanna told him about the sex tape and he hired IT expert to monitor  the leak of it. But Gideon doesn't know that Brett has it  otherwise he would be  monitored as well ,I assumed he sent copy to Chris Jr because since his involve he need to give authorization as well as Eva to use it, thats why Brett has to convince Eva  because Chris Jr was pressuring him.
