Dear Forum Members,
I'm just starting to get my story line together, and so far I'm not having too many problems. However, I'm becoming aware quite quickly that the language differences between the US and UK are likely to be a potential problem
Most of the time minor spelling differences will not be an issue - the "s" and "z" thing - but things like "elevators, apartments, pavements (in the US) and "lifts, flats, roads" (in the UK) will alter the flow. Similarly, some of the "lads chat" may be a bit UK specific and I don't want to have to go into footnotes to explain.
So do I need to think about writing two versions, with slight alterations for US and UK ?
Any suggestions welcome !
