I don't think that the reference to page 6 refers to the Stantons . Remember the clues for EWY were symbols and not meant to be exact references. I think Page 6 just refers to the speculation about the engagement/marriage of GidEva.

You could very well be correct.  There is so little information to go on, that everything is just speculation at this point.  I looked at the photo and another forum member had made the potential suggestion of a "Richard".  How many relevant characters with the name Richard are there?

 

Thus far, the potentially plausible Richard might be Richard Stanton.  Momo's hubby to date.  We know that in the last book; Mommyca dropped her drawers to knock boots with her former Latin lover .  Monica left the apartment visibly upset and shared a cab with Megumi who may have deducd that something; either happened or Monica may have let a word or two slip during that shared cab ride.

 

Let me just be clear that this just a light-hearted post based on a photo and "wild" speculation.   I wonder how much we will get to see of Monica's story and how that backstory may be introduced.

 

Another quick thought came to mind; Deanna had been "stalking" Gideon and Eva for information in the last book.  Could it be that Deanna somehow got the scoop on something that Monica did.  Could Deanna investigations have revealed something in Monica's past?  As we know, Deanna has no scruples (to speak of) and would go to any lengths to get the "scoop" on a story.  So, could Deanna be firing at someone in the Gid/Eva camp, in order to provoke a response?  What to do you think?  What does everyone think?

The only thing we do know about Monica's husband #2 is that he was a gambler; Eva referred to him as a "whale". Maybe Monica got rid of him because of his gambling, maybe she had to pay off his debts, that is why she is so consumed with money and having it.

I really want to know how Monica and Eva survived until she did marry Barker. We don't know how old Eva was when they got married. Remember Monica's family disowned her when she decided to go thru with the pregnancy.

For the love of all that is good in this world Sscrph, please let Nathan be dead (fingers crossed, he is taking a dirt nap!)!  I don't think that the forum members would be able to take a "faked death" scenario. Although, that would be the "mother" of all plot twists.  Sigh!

I recently picked up Richard Marx's latest CD, just released in July 2014.  I listened to his song "Whatever We Started" and I thought of Gideon and Eva.

I'm not sure about the lengths of time listed and there are only 3 books in the Dream Guardians series, not 4, but the rest looks right.

 

The Dream Guardians series isn't with a publisher, neither is Dangerous--which is a series of two very short stories (each installment is the length of two Crossfire chapters)--so they have to be fit in around my contracted works.

 

The Sapphire Trilogy is with a publisher, who isn't sure they want me to continue with the series. Since they own the rights to it, until they decide I can't continue.

 

The Renegade Angels is with the same publisher as Crossfire and they prefer that we all focus on Crossfire and not work on other series between Crossfire books.

I think Sylvia means the 4th and 5th book when she says "continuing their stories". It's a little bit of a bummer every time she hints she is still working on book 4, or at least dealing with last minute things. I literally could not imagine doing as much as she is right now. Working on two very highly anticipated books and jet setting all over the place. Not to forget all those key note addresses she has been giving at conferences. 

 

But anyways, sometimes when Gideon replies with an innuendo, I'm like nooooo get into a fight. Or an argument, Sylvia always reveals a little more about characters than the reader previously new when she is writing them in an argument. I CANNOT WAIT to see Eva kick Bretts bootayyyyyyy. Maybe not physically, but with some sharp word usage. If I had to say what the number one thing I'm anticipating (and will probably skip to right when I get the book) is the convo between Brett and Eva about the video. I really  hope he doesn't play nice guy and say "Oh, I had no idea" but instead admits he encouraged it. Then he would be poof, out of the story line and G&E can get married and get their bedroom redone like they wanted.

 

Last thing, I would seriously squelllll if Gideon got all protective big brother over Ireland when her boyfriend is around, and then Eva has to be like "calm down caveman". That would actually make the whole series for me. *Sylvia, if you read this, a little teaser Tuesday about this would make my dayyyyyy*

I read your post and I just wanted to confirm with you or the other ladies, did Sylvia say anything in any of her teasers or podcasts, etc. that Ireland had a boyfriend; or was the statement more of a hypothetical situation? 

 

It will be really interesting to see how Sylvia will deal with the character development.  How will she tie up all of the storylines?

Can you ladies guess how Elizabeth Vidal will react when she finds out that her son and Eva have gotten married?  I see fireworks in the future...

Truthfully I think they probably run into each other accidentally at social functions. Gideon certainly doesn't visit the Vidal estate and actually Elizabeth probably isn't even on his approved list of visitors. Perhaps she corners him into meeting her for lunch occasionally.

   I don't know if you read the latest K. Masters book yet but she has a post on Goodreads.  I guess there are people upset with her because she isn't planning the Luke & Cassie story to be a BDSM story.  It makes sense (to me anyway) that Cassie wouldn't be into BDSM based on her history.  It always surprises me when people get upset with an author's planned story.  I'm a talented reader but I couldn't write a book (not a decent one anyway) if my life depended on it.  As long as I get a good story I don't care.  If a book's subject matter doesn't appeal to me I don't buy the book and I wait for the next one s/he writes.  Anyway K. Masters is going to be at Book Bash this year (as well as many other writers you all have me reading).  I can't wait to meet her.

I read your comments and I can understand where you are coming from.  I agree with you; I don't think that a BDSM type of story would fit the characters of Luke and Cassie (especially Cassie). 

 

It is a shame that a wonderful tool like the Internet, is being used to spread unkind comments. I agree with you as well.  At the end of the day, it is the consumer who has the power to either purchase a book or leave it back on the bookshelf.  If a book is highly irresponsible in the material that has been printed, then the consumer has every right to contact the publisher and express his/her concerns about said printed material and not purchase further material from said author.

 

Anyway, when is Book Bash?  If Kallypso Masters has a meet-and-greet, if you happen to attend and take notes, feel free to share sister!  I am all ears?    Do you know if Sylvia will be doing another meet-and-greet with her fans?  I hope you have a good time. 

 

I almost forgot; how did you like Maya Banks' last book?  I know that you had mentioned that Van was your favourite character.  Did the book live up to your expectations?
