    I think Gideon has been there for Eva, he feels her pain. Eva will be there for Gideon, she feels his pain. Their souls are connected. I am confident that Sylvia will give us their HEA. We just have to read all the heartache of Gideon's past, and love will conquer all.

     

    I like that Stella-'love will conquer all.'

  13. "Captivated by You"

    I have been thinking on the quote since yesterday. One thing keeps hitting me. I have read the back covers of a lot of books over the years. They are always provocative and often exaggerate to get people excited to buy the book. So, I am hoping that the angst we are all feeling is a little hyped. Geez, how much crap can one couple take?

    As for Gideon's past---I am thinking Hugh shows up somehow. I think we will learn more about Chris Jr. and his role. Lucas will be more revealed. We will find out more about Angus and that past. Maybe finally find out just why Lizzie wouldn't believe her son. Those kinds of things. Gideon's reaction to all this stuff could be what they clip is about. I refuse to believe that G and E are anything but solid. Eva said she is no longer running. I hope that is true. In the first 3 books Gideon was holding them together. If these last 2 are his story, then I think it will be Eva's turn to keep them working.

    Since Sylvia started posting lines on fb, I have been rereading. Up to EWY. Eva was difficult in the first books so I guess it is Gideon's turn. Eva is going to make Gideon face things he may not want to. He will get ######. It will be hard. It I think in the end they will be really together and happy.

    Just my take. I cannot stand when they are not solid. (I think I am too invested in fictional characters. Lol)

     

    GLH-when you mention Hugh showing up-do you mean just as part of Gid's memories of his past? Not physically-didn't he commit suicide?

    I said this similar thing on Facebook!!

    Captivated by You is sounding a lot like Reflected in that it is not going to be a very happy book!!!

     

    Boy I hate to admit it but I felt the same way.

    As I read the previous 3 back covers I didn't feel the anxiety as I do with the one from CBY.

    Could you please tell me when (what book and what page in that book) did Gideon talk about a sex swing? Also do you remember what page it was in Entwined where he spanks her because I don't remember any of this. Thanks.

     

    Jennifer-the sex swing is mentioned in RIY, on page 137 (paperback). Further down, Gid also talks about Eva being bound-not on the outside-but working his way in.

    Sylvia has been posting all kinds of quotes on her Facebook page last night and I think some more this morning!!  Hoping for the best like maybe we are going to hear something about CBY   :)

     

    I noticed that, too, Barb. The first thought I had was that she's going to post quotes from all 3 books before we get anything from CBY. Torture!!!

    have been thinking.....why do the people who lost their money to Geoffrey Cross hold such a grudge against Gideon?  He was only 4 years old when his father did the ponzi scheme and killed himself, a child.  His mother seems to have not been affected at all; afterall she remarried and still has money.  Doesn't seem quite fair.

    Like that boy that Ireland is dating....his grandparents lost money and think it convenient that Gideon made something of himself.....again he was only a child.

     

    oh well, that is all   Still need some info for the release of CBY or something.

     

    jmhope-did you see the pic that Sylvia posted? Go to 'Theories for book four' in this site, page 18. Barb55 got it off of Facebook or SylviaDay.com, I think. SD threw us a little morsel.

  24. Books as good as the Crossfire series

    Thank you GLH, Sharon and GiGi for answering my question. I just finished reading the Breathless trilogy and I just don't care for the whole dominance thing (BDSM). I love books with a rich powerful man, with hot se.x  but not to crazy about the BDSM.  I'm going to start reading Gabriel's Inferno next, it looks like this series is well liked. Thanks again ladies.

     

    Shannon-I think you will enjoy the Gabriel books. The third one comes out in Dec.and I can't wait! When he speaks Italian to her, I get all mushy.
