I agree with you. If Gideon would have done it he would have beat him to death! I'm just wondering what opportunity Gideon was referring to when he told Eva that them being apart was the price of it.

Do you like Evas nickname for Gideon (Ace) I don't! Love that he calls her angel.

I don't think Cary was attacked to intimidate Gideon. He was attacked (I think) because Nathan saw Eva with Cary in a warm embrace when they were having lunch. He told her to stay away from her.

Gideon probably made Nathan believe he didn't have any interest in Eva. Nathan then went after Cary after seeing him In a warm embrace with Eva when they were having lunch. Totally believe Monica and Stanton were in on it. Monica gave Eva that big lecture about not becoming a liability for Gideon since she believe he would marry him. How did she know?

Meanwhile I keep speculating who killed Nathan. Tell me what book to read. I like Sylvia day but I've only read these 2 books. Any suggestions? I need something to read while I wait for 3rd book.

Nathan seems to be important because he's the reason for so much heart ache. All that break up chapter made me cry! Lol. So it is important. The book ended with Nathans murder mystery.

I can't help but hate Monica for wanting to keep Evas abuse a seacret. They gave Nathan the opportunity to go and to the same to others. I hope it was Monica the one who did it.

Please tell me there's more than a handful of you than believe Gideon is not a murderer!!! I love his character but I'm not sure how I'd feel if he did it. They have already been through enough with all the abuse.

Im wondering where Dr. Lucas fits in since he seems too young to have been Gideons pediatrician. He also told Eva that he wasn't his patient.

How would the theory of Elizabeth Vidal having an affair with Dr. Lucas play out? Why would Elizabeth Vidal want to have an affair? What would her motive be? Dr. Lucas wouldn’t have been wealthy so she couldn’t have done it for the money. What’s your theory?

Does anyone else suspect that Gideons mom had an affair with dr Lucas? Maybe she was busy doing him to take care of him and know about abuse? Gideon made a comment about how he knew she would like Cary. Why? Gideon reminded his mom that Cary was evas friend there for his friend as well. Somehow that seemed like a warning of some sort. Maybe Gideon only slept with Blodes. Remember he didn't hang with the chicks he banged? He initially wanted to only have sex with Eva.

Magdalene Perez may hold some clues. Why did she go see Eva in bared to you? What exactly are the pictures Nathan had? Maybe library incident? Remember evas mom lectured her in hospital and said Gidion couldn't keep his hands her. How did she know?

I don't think Gidion killed Nathan. I think he knows who did and is protecting them. I'm so hoping for a happy ending they deserve it. I can't wait till June 4th!!!!
