I was literally jumping and screaming when the word GidEva caught my eye. Once all the euphoric joy subsided, I felt something else. I think I experienced one of those Eva-is-in-awe moments, especially when she says "A bittersweet tenderness pierced me. He'd listened. He cared" (BTY, p. 163). Sylvia does listen to us using the endearment over and over again [You rock, Sylvia *throwing confetti*]

 

Regarding the latest teaser, do you think Deanna is no longer part of [i only made up this very name. Guess it's suitable for those who take revenge on Gideon] the Vendetta against Gideon Syndicate? IMO, Deanna: 1) sincerely accepts Gideon's apology  2) happily settles on the exclusive coverage in exchange for keeping the video secret and 3) will comply with Gideon's directive 4) finally understands that her love doesn't reciprocate. So, it's possible that she stops being a vengeful woman.

 

BUT... Somehow I just don't trust her. Quoting Eva, Deanna's "interest in him [Gideon] was as hot as ever" (EWY, p. 352). And this time love could be the reason for Deanna NOT to let Gideon live a peaceful marriage with his beloved one.

Ah, well, Microsoft gives us a couple of cool ways to copy and paste. I'm personally a fan of advanced use of the mouse to pull up little shortcut menus, but here is the Copy-Paste 101 Method

 

 

1. In the Word document, use the menu bar to select "select all" -- that'll highlight your entire text.

 

2. In the Word document, use the menu bar to select "copy"

 

3. Go into a Reply to this topic box here and click in box to get your cursor positioned, just like you'd do to start hand-typing something here.

 

4. There are two Word-like menu bars at the top of the text. The one you want is on the top bar, far right side, the second to last icon. It looks like a little clipboard and it has the "W" letter on it. That button is "Paste from Word"

 

5. Click it and that should work.

 

If your security software doesn't let that direct paste work, it'll pull up a "Paste" box for you to do it old school with your keyboard - holding down the "Ctrl" button at the same time as hitting the letter V on the keyboard.

 

If this doesn't work, we'll come up with a plan B -- I'm dying to see those charts.

I'm still on #TeamDelayedGratification *wink* I've been stalking the spoiler threads and really can't wait to revisit and revise the complete four charts of my Crossword-Sudoku-Puzzle Combo theory. I'm afraid we have to be patient for the guy at the bookstore's asking for my understanding that sometimes it's gonna take a while to get the book.

The thread entitled One Chapter A Day - Re-Read of Bared and Entwined (the latter was a typo, should have said Reflected) thread has the daily summaries, one per day - detailed timelines, key plot developments, new characters .... and my own more detailed thoughts on the content of each chapter. Most days, the daily summary "Readers Guide" was posted sometime before 6 a.m. U.S. Eastern time zone, though there were some days I was late.

 

I'm going to get around to a project soon of creating a master running timeline from the start of Bared to the end of Entwined, once I can sketch out the master timeline for the two weeks of Entwined.

I have a Word document with a synopsis of every chapter of Bared to You and Reflected in You.

 

Back when we were as a group doing the re-read a chapter per day of both books, I took on a project to create a Readers Guide cheat sheet for every chapter. It turned out to be a lot of work, but a lot of fun too.

 

If go back into the Re-Read A Chapter A Day thread, you can find each of the summaries.

Do you remember when Gideon took Eva's shawl from Cary and draped it over her shoulders while Cary pushed her gloves into her hands (BTY, p. 87)? I perceive this scene as a major shift in Eva's life. Her world's expanding now by having not only Cary, but also Gideon. Somehow it also happens in my life. This forum has become the main factor in the expansion *wink*

 

I have limited time, energy, and CC [eerrr, that's Cerebro Capacity and Crossfire Capacity *grin*] so I have to make more reasonable priorities in life. By doing so, I can invest the teCC wisely in this forum [Julie, this is my own special way of apologizing to you for the late reply *puppy eyes*]

 

Last but not least, Eva told Gideon that there's room for more people who loved him in his life (RIY, p. 200) and it's so true. I've never thought that the people I met in cyber world would have a special place in my heart. I love this forum for its diverse members, positive vibes, and dynamic discussions. And that'd be including you, Sylvia *blowing kisses*

 

We are all connected by the Crossfire series. To some extent, I personally think that all of us can relate to the journey of GidEva *group hug*

AAAAHHHHH!!!! The brain gym is great!!!!

Isn't it ironic -- in a good way -- that the one place specifically set as the alternative to Facebook and Twitter, the spot where it's permissible to discuss spoiler material, is a place where there's been a voluntary consensus to avoid that very thing prior to the actual release date.

 

I've yet to see a spoiler here -- unlike what I heard about Goodreads. Those of us lucky enough to somehow have gotten copies a few days early are being extra careful.

Thank you for responding my RFP (Request For Posting *wink*). I've been working on the chart of my Crossword-Sudoku-Puzzle Combo theory for the last 22 days based on the information about EWY (ie, snippets, snapshots, and countdown clues) given by Sylvia and the publisher on a regular basis. I was having so much fun in the whole process of doing it. And now I'm going to share the complete four charts of my Crossword-Sudoku-Puzzle Combo theory with you, ladies. Please keep in mind that it's just my theory. There's always room for error [Truth be told, slim odds of guessing it correctly *wink*]

 

 

Since I don't think I will get the book on June 4th, I've decided to frequently stalk the spoiler thread *grin* But I hope I'd already get the book by then.

 

 

PS: Sheens, I'm afraid you'll have to wait a little bit longer if you're still interested in my revisit and revise version of my Crossword-Sudoku-Puzzle Combo charts

Deep down inside I knew Gideon killed Nathan. "He knew that I knew" (p. 338) was a red flag for me. But that didn't stop my mind from screaming, "NO!!"

And now I'm asking your (the hardcore members') permission to post my charts sometime after we're finished discussing Chapter 19 of RIY or anytime before the release of EWY. It consists of four postings conveying the complete four charts. I personally think I'm doing it responsibly by posting the charts of my Crossword-Sudoku-Puzzle Combo theory in this forum.
