I am not sure where I read it, but I am pretty sure that I did somewhere, read that the DeAnna in both books is the same person.  I guess I never thought any differently so I am surprised that there is any question.  I am now puzzled as to where I got that info.

hmm well I never did finish AfterBurn (couldn't really get into it for some reason) but now i want to go back and finish it to see what DeAnna is up to and perhaps there will be some clues or foreshadowing for CBY

in the spreecast chat today, someone asked Sylvia if DeAnna from Aftershock is the same DeAnna from EWY. Sylvia's response leads me to believe that it is indeed the same person and we'll find out in CBY. She was very coy about it b/c she said it was a spoiler. Interesting! 

This is literally so frustrating! I'm laughing at how ridiculous I am over this whole release date thing. I'm just gonna assume the book is coming out over the summer, a year between books is the norm. Also, shout out to Sylvia for that chat. It's awesome how much she wants to connect with her fans!

Yeah it is REALLY frustrating. I don't understand why everything is so secretive. She says she has a title for book 5 but she wouldn't even share that with us. I'm just going to stop hoping and maybe that way I'll just be pleasantly surprised when it finally comes out.

I'm a new member but a LONG time lurker of this board. I finally decided to join in on the fun. When I finished reading 50 Shades Freed, my Kindle told me to check out Sylvia Day. Wow, THANK you Kindle! At first I was really turned off by all the similarities between Bared to You and 50 Shades. I thought it was a copy-cat at first. But then something happened. I can't quite put my finger on it, but for some reason I felt CONNECTED to Gideon and Eva and I couldn't stop reading. 50 Shades has NOTHING on the Crossfire series. These characters just grab a place in your HEART. You guys all know what I'm talking about!

 

Never have I EVER been as attached to a book series as I am with Crossfire. I have lost count as to how many times I have read and re-read each book. I think I know all the audiobooks by heart but for some reason I cannot stop reading this series OVER and OVER again. It's almost pathetic. 

 

Can't wait for CBY, and can't wait to join in some discussions with all of you!
