LOL! Hey, no rush! I'm about to spend January writing a Blaze anyway! I'll come back later with some goals. Right now I'm all about going out to dinner and stuffing my face! LOL!

They, do, except when they make the sort of comments like I had on Blue & Jessie's story - which made clear the reviewer didn't GET IT! There are readers who don't want sex before love, and don't want sex used as a weapon, and who don't want sex unless it's all about emotion - when some of the best sex is all about the heat and the body parts and that DRIVES the emotion! But then, I think too much like a man anyway, LOLOL! In those cases, I just look at the reviews and shrug. If a story isn't a reviewer's cuppa, nothing an author says to justify why she wrote the story her way is going to make a hill o' beans!

Oh, yeah. I found a whole thread once about how all she wanted him for was to get her off, that there was no love between them, no emotion, only sex. Ahem.

Exactly! Pfffft! :)

And I got blasted for it ALL over the place; almost every review site picked it as the worst of the bunch . . . because it wasn't ROMANTIC! :) (Almost, not all!)

Did you already order? I have copies of Mother, Please! I just always forget about that one, LOLOL!

Since I tend to write characters who fall into bed before they fall into love, I've found myself writing pairs who are physical equals - but always one who is emotionally clueless . They battle what the sex makes them FEEL for the other person, and it's always outside of their experience in that realm. It's fun! :)

Well, I think everything else with possibly the exception of Indiscreet and Wicked Games is now only available used. And, unfortunately, I don't think I have copies left of either! For some reason, our JBR author copies came like twice and left me with a buttload, LOL!

(Yikes, didn't realize I'd never registered here until just now trying to post!) If I had KNOWN you wanted a copy of JBR I would've sent you one! I have several author copies left over!!!
