Now, get back to work on Sapphire! I want more!!
Sasha
who also thinks that when I WANT more...it's a good sign that not only is the writing good, the story is good.

We all have our strongest talents. I truely think one of your is that you can make the reader CARE abotu the characters. That's huge! LOL
Me...I can turn 'em on. but I'm still workign on the making them care part.
LOL

I'm with you, Jordan. I thought Lucien's Gamble was my fave, but lucky gal that I am, I'm critting Sapphire right now... and it's so good!
In fact, I just finished chapter 8 and my heart is actually aching for Wulf. I just love it when I feel for the characters. Sylvia has a huge career in front of her.
I wish I could write like that!*sigh*

I've never heard of Sookie Stackhose either...but it sounds good. Tell us more.
I've read a few authors that tend to ruin me for a while. I reread Janet Evanovich's Stephanie PLum series often, they always cheers me up and motivate me. I also love to reread Susan Elizabeth Phillips books. (Faves are It Had To Be You, Fancy Pants and Lady Be Good.)
For oyu fans of Buffy and Angel be sure to check out Kim Harrison's new book Dead Witch Walking. It was fantastic, and the start of a new series.
You can read an excerpt at http://www.kimharrison.net

Whoo Hooo! Hello there Shayne,
..or should I say Shayner? :?
We could have our own litle Canadian room here on Sylvia's message board. I know she wouldn't mind! Be sure to check out the ALBUM link at the top. (But beware of the naked man in the general one.) Each of us members can have our own photo album where we can post 5 photos. (By the way, I love your Dawg ones.)
Cheers,

I agree with you about Ireland. North and South. The Republic was beautiful, lush and full of friendly people.
Nothern Ireland was beautiful in a different way. I absolutely loved Belfast. The energy of the people and the place was very special. I will go back there for sure. Plus, I just had a plain ol' great time!
Hmmm, meeting up with Sylvia and hitting the U.K??? A 'road trip'???
As long as she promises to not get us arrested.

I don't know much about history. Any countries history. lol
But I've been to Scotland and Ireland...I've seen historical spots. And love reading the fact and stuff when I'm there. I just don't seem to retain any of it.
Oh well! Just means I'll have to g back again someday as well.

Hey Peter!
Another book geek is always welcome. I too carry that title, rather proudly!
I admit to only having a few ebooks, but I'm spoilt living in a big city with tons of bookstores I can hang out in for hours on end!!

Hi Sylvia,
You'll have to keep me posted about the PRO thing. I have a "R" from a ms I could send in and aplly with. But like you, I should've done it months ago because now I have no idea when I'll actually get around to doing it.
ANd off that topic for a minute....I'm interested in Luciens Devil... I see a quote from Red Sage...does that mean it will be available soon?

Hi Sylvia!
And hello Ireland too!
Nice new toy you have here. I think it will be perfect for when I want to procrastinate! Not that I do that alot...well, ok. I do procrastinate more than I should.
I know! This won't be for procrastination. It'll be for research and advice, since I don't belong to any writer's groups and such.
Yup, now I have a valid reason for visiting often!
Cheers,
Sasha

Hi Linda!
Sylvia's on holidays with her kids for the weekend. At the lake. 8)
As her cp I feel I can answer for her. . We're both hopeing you''ll be able to purchase something soon. SHe has a couple of fanatstic novels that are finished, and searching for homes right now. All we need is an editor to spot her talent and take a chance!
For now, there are the excerpts on her Bookshelf page and a short story due out in Arabella magazine. (also excerpted onthe bookshelf)
I'm a HUGE fan of Janet Evanovich and have read ALL of the Stephanie Plum books! I think you summed them up pretty darn good for Sylvia and won't be surprised if she becomes addicted too!
