"It felt like years since I’d last been with him, instead of a mere hour." This has to be the same day/right after the last scene in RIY. There will probably be a scene in between that'll (hopefully) explain why they can't see each other. It obviously has to do with the case, but something more detailed will be provided...I hope. June 4th does suck, but it is what is. If SD had a choice, I'm sure she'd like to release it sooner, but she's been incredibly polite and patient with everyone regarding this release date. it will be worth the wait. Sylvia has tweeted that it was a publisher's decision and that this date is more or less set in stone.

Oh, that makes me so excited for the book. And yes, they probably can't (or shouldn't?) be seen together. It seems like they're meeting in secret, especially when she says, "No one seeing him would put him together with Gideon Cross..." These snippets are fun, because their story can go in so many directions. Ha! I almost hope it's dragged out so there's a fourth book : )

On the plane she said it was husband #2 but when she was talking to Gideon in Vegas, she said husband #3. I love these snippets, but it makes so eager for the book. Sylvia Day really is a great writer.

I would love to see more of Ireland. I've enjoyed all the scenes she's been in.

I haven't seen anything or really looked. I just think whatever he went back to get, was used as an excuse to reveal that he had a copy of her key made, and had done the same thing for her. I wouldn't think it would her ring. Why would she take it off? Sleeping pills I could see.

Someone asked Sylvia Day on twitter and she said that it'll be discussed/ explained in EWY. He either lied to Eva in the beginning or during therapy. It was mentioned that the hotel where Nathan was killed, was the one where he was staying. Was it a coincidence that he chose one of Gideon's hotels that happened to have the security cameras down? It'll probably be addressed in the next book, if not, it's something I'd love to know. In BTY, and at some point in RIY (Monica Tramell Barker Mitchell Stanton), she said "Stanton, husband #3..." That was also in the very first chapter. We haven't really been introduced to Stanton. I didn't know what his connection to gambling was.

Reading through Reflected in You a second time, I was confused about a few things. In chapter 6 when Gideon tells Eva how he got the money to get Cross Industries started, she says she'd "learned, thanks to my mom's third husband, that gambling could become a very nasty and insidious disease that caused total lack of control." I thought it was the second husband that had the gambling issue, unless Stanton also has some sort of connection to it...? Eva mentioned in BTY and in RIY that she thought Gideon's mother possibly loved him too much. I'm a bit dense and sometimes need things spelled out, but did she think that his mother molested him? Chapter 10, after Gideon tells Eva that the sex in the limo isn't for her, Eva states, "it didn't matter that he was right. If I'd earned it, so had he." Earned being cheated on or earned the right to punish her? This last one may be considered a spoiler, but was it a coincidence that the cameras were down for months? Was Gideon possibly planning this way ahead of time?
