I love the relationship between Mark and Steven, it seems so easy going and relaxed. Eva made the comment that she felt awe and a dash of envy, probably hoping for that sort of partnership.

Mark Stephen and Shawna friendship interests me make me think will they help Eva and Gideon to keep their relationship secret .

Will mark send Eva away on an assignment or something just to spend time with Gideon

I love the office scene the first one on the Friday lunchtime

Then we've got the Tuesday

But I also think the bar scene is good

but wait a second there isn't a scene in BTY or RIY that I don't think is great .

Can't wait to see the first chapter in may to keep us going until June !

But on chapter 4 before I realised I had to leave for work !!!!!!

Like you knew we'd never sick to a chapter a day !!

Hi everyone,

At the end of chapter one Eva ran into Gideon in the elevator going down after her first day of work.  Was it coincidence or did Gideon orchestrate the meeting?  What does everyone think?  Thoughts?  Opinions?

I think Gideon would have known that she finished at 5 and hoped that leaving when he did surely they would met.

Is this slightly blured picture chapter 1 of EWY?

Can any of us truthfully say we could read only one chapter, without peeking on into the next chapters ?

I'm sure it is from the 23rd that Sylvia said if we reada chapter a day it would take us to the release of EWY

I'm a shift worker so am awake at odd times and love having a read to see whats been happening in the forum while I've been sleeping .

It's the same on Tuesday and Friday its nearly lunchtime here before the snapshot is up !

HELLO! Here are some guesses from me, too. G's killing could only make E's love for him stronger. She's an abused child who sees her lousy reaper disappear from her world. G has shown E that he knows what she's been through and that he's willing to go to such lengths to have her safe and happy not even her parents did. CIAO!!!

Your right Gideon is willing to give the ultimate sacrifice to keep Eva safe.

I can't see my boss as a Sylvia day fan but will definitely be reading chapter 1 before I sleep.

Thank goodness I'm off the first week in June to be able to read and listen to the audio EWY and comment on this forum !

I'm working nightshift the week it's due released. I'm not going to be able to sleep on the 7th May until I've read the first chapter.

We will need to post a like on the forum and send Internet into melt down!

It is a shame that anyone had to commit murder, especially our hero.  Another storyline (not that Sylvia's hasn't been great) would have been:  When Eva called and Gideion was supposedly at home (with security, per Sylvia), but cut Eva off short, any woman would have gone to the apartment to confront said boyfriend;  here Nathan could have come into the picture and tried to abduct Eva, and she could have used her Krav Maga on him and killed or seriously injured Nathan in self defense and NO ONE would have to worry about jail time.  Just my two cents,  

 

Hopefully Sylvia is using a play on words as to Gideion killing Nathan.

 

Thoughts anyone?

I like your thinking then justice would be served if Eva killed Nathan

NO I KILLED NATHAN !! LOL

I don't want our hero in jail or a long drawn out court case.

Nathan was a horrible person who we know did terrible things to Eva and we suspect brutally attacked Cary.

And maybe justice has been done at the fact that he's no longer breathing the same air as decent human beings!

But Gideon could have disposed of his body and then the police would never have been involved he wouldn't have had to distance himself from Eva .

Make it June soon please or at least may for chapter one !

Which leads me to a big Entwined spoiler question I'll throw out anyway, though I'll wait for my answer on June 4 ....

 

What did the servants in the Vidal household know about Gideon being sexually abused as a child? One servant in particular - Angus. Did Angus figure out Gideon was being abused and take matters into his own hands to stop the guy? Is that what earned Angus Gideon's absolute trust?

I think Angus took things into his own hands and stopped the guy.

Earning Gideon's trust and respect.

I think Vidal kept Angus employed to prevent the scandal leaking out.

Then the time came and Gideon took Angus out of that situation to work for him!

I'm thinking the same as you AMC
