I don't think Gideon would tell Corrine about what Nathan did to Eva

But what if Corrine saw Nathan after he'd been hit by Gideon as he left his office.

She would see that he'd stopped her from seeing Gideon .

Maybe Nathan tells her what he's up to

If Corrine killed him she may want the police to point the finger at Gideon for 2 reasons

1. He would distance himself from Eva and spend more time with her

2. Well if she can't have him she sure as h ell isn't allowing Eva to have him

I'm liking the idea that Corrine killed Nathan .

It will hopefully get rid of her from causing any further issues in Gideon and Eva's relationship.

I love how were all talking about Angus !

I was thinking about what Angus said to Eva about how Gideon hired him away from the vidals when the time was right.

But what changed that made the time right.

Was Angus there to look out for Christopher jr and Ireland since Gideon couldn't be there ?

i don't mean to make everyone crazy, but surely sylvia had the ability to get very specific in what the characters say, so when she doesn't i ask why.

 

vidal seems like a likely suspect.  perhaps his and elizabeth's quick marriage was in part because she brought a son to the relationship.  while it would explain how gideon became majorty interest in vidal records, i have trouble believing that he would take any part in a business with his abuser.  the vidal records thing has me a little baffled, as otherwise he has done a steller job of distancing himself from his family.  hmm hmm hmm.

Jo mama I think that Gideon having the majority interest in Vidal records is taking away control from Vidal , who I think is somewhat involved with Gideon's abuse.

Maybe Gideon thinks having this control is the only way he can take away power form his abuser.

Many post talk about how could Gideon leave Christopher jr and Ireland with his abuser when he's said that he wanted to save Christopher . This led me to think that then Vidal didn't physical abuse but I think watched or allowed it to happen.

Gideon's lack of relationship with Ireland I think is because maybe he feels that if his mother wasn't pregnant with Ireland then therapy for him would have helped rather than leading to abuse.

I've thought for awhile that Vidal sr is the abuser, since Gideon refers to his abuser as "HIM" . And I think Sylvia being such a good writer wants you to think its the dictorial candidate then your hit with the twist of it not being that way at all.

And there's no interaction at the garden party with Gideon and Vidal .

He asks Eva what she thinks of his mother but not what she thinks of Vidal sr .

I think that Elizabeth knows that Vidal abused her son but her need for financial security and Christopher and Ireland being his children stop her from ever speaking out against him.

I think Gideon is motivated to take away that financial security and that is how he has major share in Vidal records.

How much speculation and theories can we have on these two books until June.

Nice surprise to get a short Oscar snippet . Just a shame it's not a whole chapter.

I love how we've all got theory's on Nathan .

I'd like to think that in EWY we will find out more about this.

I'd like to see Gideon and Ireland's relationship why it's so estranged when Ireland hero worships Gideon .

I'm going to throw this into the mix.

In Bared to you Eva says that Nathan was lawfully punished

Then in Reflected with you the last time she saw him was in a court room eight years ago.

Anyone else think that Nathan has been in prison .

And now out he sees Eva life is good she's dating a billionaire loved by her family and he just can't stand that her life is good when his isn't disowned by his rich father what does he have but to cause pain to Eva and extort money from her family.

I agree that if Gideon killed Nathan he did it because he feared that Eva life was in danger .

But could Monica some how be involved, maybe she didn't physically stab Nathan but could she have got Clancy to do it for her.

And Nathan would have opened the door thinking that who ever it was either Clancy Angus Gideon or Stanton was bringing the money he demanded.

I think Gideon's abuser Gideon would make his life destroy him but I don't think he physically kill them.

I think Vidal sr is somehow involved maybe not as the abuser but did he allow it to happen, was it someone who had been effected by Gideon's father and had lot money and somehow wanted revenge.

I am sure that Sylvia will have lots of twists and turns in entwined with you. It is a romance story and not a crime story after all.

I'm curious about Gideon's remark "come home and be bad with me." Home where?

 

His apartment is what I gather, from the hint she dialed his cell because it was the number she "had memorized." But if it's dangerous for him to be at her apartment, wouldn't the reverse hold true, it being dangerous for her to go to his? 

 

So, has he figured out a way to sneak her in and out of his apartment. Or is "home" actually a third place, a secret love nest the pair of them have together?

Gideon's security team was first mentioned in bared to you when he went to the Vidal house to get Eva from the garden party.

Could it be that since Monica along with Clancy saw Nathan would they have discussed it with Stanton and then Gideon to find out why Nathan was at the crossfire . All of them have motive to kill Nathan . If they were all involved then the police can't find enough evidence on any of them they'll try and see who breaks first.

I'd love it if Christopher jr got sent down for it don't like him he's defanetly trouble .

No, he wouldn't have gone to Gideon. He doesnt even know him that well then, but Cary, yes. Tho Cary might have been loyal to Eva and not told him anything, respecting the fact that Eva hadn't wanted him to know. Besides, he also showed Eva the publicity shots of Gideon that he'd found on the internet, remember, he would've mentioned it to Gideon otherwise (and not asked Eva if Corinne was another 'sister')

Victor knew that Eva was seeing Gideon before he visited her. I think the detective in him he would have researched

Then the detectives asking Gideon about Nathan would have alerted Victor to there being more than anyone was telling him.

Victor would want answers.

I think he showed Eva the Internet shots of Gideon and Corrine knowing how she would react and that reaction would help his plan of showing to the police that Eva and Gideon were broken up.

The sooner EWY comes out the better and we can get the answers to all the questions left un answered at the end of RIY

I think Angus would do anything for Gideon . So helping kill Nathan wouldn't be out with his job description

I then thought of something Angus said to Eva " He hired me away from Mr. Vidal when the time came"

Maybe Angus feels he owes Gideon for getting him away from Mr Vidal.

I'm sure that after the detectives left Victor would have wanted / demanded answers from Cary about Eva's reaction to Nathan's name being mentioned. I think Cary would have kept her secret .

The Saturday morning run I think he went to Gideon's apartment wanting answers from him.

I dont think Gideon would have told him Eva's secret in graphic details , just that Nathan had to go. i then think Victor would have told Gideon to go to the police and told him if Eva phoned to answer the call. Adding weight to the breakup.

I am hoping that in EWY we will see how Victor will help Gideon and Eva be together . And build on their relationships .

I can SO see Gideon putting an end to the misery called Nathan which makes me wonder what he did to the person who put HIM through ? I can t wait to find out in the Entwined

I think Christopher Vidal sr put Gideon through .

I'm not sure if he physically abused him but maybe those who did were there because of Vidal .

I think if Vidal had physically abused Gideon he'd want Ireland out of there. I think Gideon has only a little relationship because she reminds him of Vidal .

And I think instead of physically hurting Vidal he hit him were it hurt by obtain the contor of his business.

I think young Christopher is jealous of that fact Gideon has the power of what he sees should be his business .

Could Christopher jr be evil enough to kill Nathan only to frame Gideon for it . If Gideon was to go to prison does Christopher jr think he could take control of Vidal records .

Got to think of twists in the story if we've got to wait until June for EWY !
