Yes I really think that is part of the reason and also because of her past Eva is always afraid of being TOO happy... Like she's going to jinx herself or something...

Maybe we are wrong about Gideon going to SD, maybe the new found security from the marriage will enable him to let Eva and Cary go to SD on their own...but I really sincerely doubt this!!!

I think Gideon would be happy to meet Dr.Travis as he is the man that saved his ANGEL and made it possible for Eva to look past her insecurities and issues and trust Gideon enough to give her heart to him...Dr. Travis was the one that said that Eva was ready for a relationship and boy did she ever find herself one!!!

I think Kristin Stewart is so "hard" looking, she is nothing like Ana in looks or personality!!! That would be a grievous casting error!!

I plan to do this on my vacation Julie but I was thinking today that it is hard to imagine the worshipful Gideon in EWY bullying ( for want of a better word) Eva on that limo ride to NC... It's amazing how much he has changed in Book 3...

I agree I am still on team Brett and Eva will definitely be hurt ... Even Cary thought Brett was an ok guy ... I just can't put him in the trash bin yet because when he and Eva had lunch that day in RIY I thought he was really sincere... maybe he's just a good actor!!!

I think this is a lot of Lizzie Vidals problem with Eva; she is very jealous of the fact that Eva has such an emotional connection with her son and that she was actually able to break down his barriers and get to the truth and Eva supported him unconditionally something his mother apparently could not do... Oh when she finds out the truth she will have 100 times more guilt than Monica ever had because she continued to let that abuser into her home ...maybe she will finally realize why the Vidal estate makes Gideon's skin crawl!!!

I don't think either Gideon or Eva will cheat ;they both know there is no way either of them could live with that. In RIY when the incident at the Crossfire with Nathan occurs but Eva thinks its Corinne Eva says to Gideon " I would never cheat on you I would break it off with you first and later in the car he states secrets are something we can work through cheating is not ... So there you have it ...

Yes but Sam probably did not know who Golden was until he saw the Vidal music video and Eva was interviewed in person...that is when he was able to isolate Eva from his old footage and make the sex tape...I will be disappointed if Brett is involved in this and of course this would make it so much easier for Eva to leave his sorry a s s behind and I can't begin to think how furious Gideon would be but then again he too may be glad in a way because Eva will leave Brett behind for good ... What does everyone think?

That's why I think the marriage will be so good for both of them to give them the security in their relationship that they both desperately need...Gideon is always very smart about what he and Eva need to go forward MOST OF THE TIME...

I hope so I was just bothered by the fact that Eva noted the way he touched her in a familiar way bothered her... Maybe that just triggered her a little due to her past...

JFG has a deep hatred for Gideon now because of the loss of his child. JFG know s Eva is Gideon's weakness so to speak... I don't trust him not to use this fact against Gideon in some way...
