OMG I am LMFAO because I am reading backward and finally have read that priestess is a spelling error!! Thank God because I thought after reading 3 books I think the last thing Gideon would have wanted to see Eva in was a priestess gown !! Whatever that is anyway!! :)

Btw Gigi gnocchi are my favorite food and next time I will wear my priestess gown while I consume them...

I do not think Gideon needs to offer Corinne an explanation for any of his actions including present day. As Eva told him, stow the guilt and move on . If he had done this earlier, Corinne would not have been in this picture and thus no mixed signals would have been sent. Less is more in this situation. And not only that, Corinne may not want Gideon to see her in her present condition just making things more difficult for her . On the other hand, if she took the pills on purpose he is playing right into her hands... Eva needs to put a stop to this ...In other words, Gideon needs to stop contact with Corinne as soon as YESTERDAY!!! IMO...

Why does Corinne always ruin everything that would have been a fantastic scene to read with all four of them at the restaurant!! And especially with the cute Italian chef in attendance!!

I have to laugh in this chapter when Gideon pulls Eva aside and says this situation is INTOLERABLE ... Yes Gideon , just like it was INTOLERABLE for Eva to watch you cuddle up with Corinne for the last two weeks ...

I agree if Angus caught the abuser red handed he definitely would have told his employer. I think that after Gideon was examined by Dr . Lucas and Terry somehow concluded the abuser was Hugh ; Terry gave Hugh the heads up so he never touched Gideon again or the therapy ended by Hugh making some excuse he couldn't continue anymore...

And I think the same can be said for the Krav Maga; it can be considered a weapon of sorts and it is only a matter of time before Eva uses it and it won't be on Gideon...

I think this a very plausible theory ...

I still see Gideon in the future hiring the brother as Eva's or his bodyguard or for one of their children eventually...
