Hiya Before Eva's dad put her in touch with Dr Travis, Eva's self-respect and self esteem were non existent. She debased herself, throwing herself at Brett at every opportunity, she wanted and needed to be loved. She was desperately ashamed of her past, doing what she did. She hoped Brett would fill that void, but all he wanted was the sex. Didn't care where he got it, he was an immature boy, he still is to some extent. Eva needs to go to SD to lay her ghosts to rest. She needs to sort out her relationship with Brett once and for all.

Hi Gigi It was the comment to Cary. First of all she told him how handsome he was. Then when they were leaving, she begged Gideon not to leave taking, Cary, as he was the life and sole of the party. Gideon replied, "I thought you would like him, remember he is Eva's friend, which makes him my friend." This comment from Gideon made my flesh crawl. What had she done to Gideons friend/s?

hi Gigi The nightmares are going to be with him for a long while. I googled this condition. Therapy and drugs control it, but it doesn't go away. He may make peace with his mother(we hope he does)but he is now having nightmares over Nathan's death. This poor man is haunted by his past.

Brett is still seeing Eva as a v a g I n a on legs. His comments about being inside her, and feeling her, are proof that he doesn't love her, or taking her feelings into account. He may have been holding a torch for her, but for all the wrong reasons. He is still the same Brett. He needs to grown up. I would like to think he doesn't know about the sex tape, but I won't hold my breath about it. The jury's out on that one. :(

I think Gideons problems are just not related to his abuse, I think it goes far deeper, concerning his mother, who I think has a penchant for young men. Hence her comment to Cary at the garden party, and Gideons comment back to her. I said a few weeks back that there were oedipedal tendencies in his relationship with his mother.

I have said all along, that it related to mummy issues, and his abandonment.

Gideon has built a wall around himself, to protect himself from hurt. Once his mother believes him and he forgives her, that wall will crumble. But Lizzy has a lot of repairing to do. Over half his life she abandoned him. But I think there's is more than just the abuse. Lizzy as made some cryptic comments, starting at the garden party. I think it goes deeper.

What I also meant to say was. She was running away from what she thought was the inevitable. Gideon dumping her. Silly girl. Like he(Gideon) said to her when she made the comment about Mark proposing and being worried. Even though you know the answer is going to be yes, you are still scared.

I agree with you. She was devastated that after the plane trip, and Gideon became distant, that she had broken their relationship by pushing him to far. She thought he was going to finish with her. She wasn't going to commit suicide, she was desperately unhappy thinking the worst.

I'm hoping that once he starts opening up to Eva, that his nightmares will subside to some extent. I don't think they will go permanently, because of his recent killing of Nathan, has ramped up his guilty feelings. The condition doesn't just vanish overnight, unfortunately, I googled it. But with the continued therapy and drugs, it will be kept under control. They both want to just be a normal couple, having snuggle time together, and napping or falling asleep in each others arms.

Hello my little Italian lady. This chapter speaks for its self. This is what made all the ladies of the world, cheer and shout hallelujah! We don't have to write anything, all their love and passion for each other was perfect. I felt like part of the ceremony, I could feel the sand between my toes. Angus watching with pride spoke volumes. Perfection!

I made this comment about his actions regarding taking over Vidal records because of his mother. I think the little boy in Gideon loves his mum, even though she abandoned him. His love is still strong enough to make sure that she doesn't suffer another financial crisis. He hasn't forgiven her, but a child's love is unconditional. I think he has a deep unconscious yearning, wanting to reconcile with his mother. This will help him love himself.

What is it with this man that drives all his ex's to a form of insanity? He is their ultimate male! The way he treated them, would have sent most women running in the other direction. Just because he had money, hot looks, and could seduce a woman by looking at her(hmmmm), his encore sucked! These women are doing what Eva did a few years ago. Chasing after a man whose not interested in them. Willing to do whatever to get in his pants. Both Corinne and Deanna are manipulating Gideon into a corner, which will not be pretty when Mr Clueless finally twigs, and comes out fighting.
