  2. I totally agree. He was dealt a sh*t deck of cards in his life, he overcame obstacles making the best of his life. I think he needs to be cut some slack, his heart was in the right place. Unfortunately his plans went drastically wrong. Hopefully Eva will see this. She loves her man, he loves her. :)
  3. I think we have all bases covered. Lol 3 1/2 hours, wow! Speedy. Lol I think I'm going to be cross eyed in the early hours of 5th June. :)
  4. I can feel your excitement 2 weeks and counting I intend having a late night to get the book read, on my daughters kindle. Booked a weeks vacation When I get my paperback I will devour it slowly. :)
  5. At this point of the story, Gideons emotions must have been all over the place. The stress he must be under, keeping Eva safe, plus running his business, I feel so sorry for him. He was alone for most of his life, now he has this burden on his shoulders. I hope Angus was there to back him up.
  6. I think you Americans should not be able to read your books till the 6th June like us poor Brits. Only kidding. I'm downloading on the 4th, book won't be here till 7th or 8th. Amazons prediction. I will go with the majority. I will play catch up with posts when I finished. You ladies are awesome. Thank you :)
  7. Sylvia did say they would have more alone time together. they need this, doesn't matter where it is. No outside interference.

  10. If only. Knowing our luck we're off down the wrong road.
  11. I found this chapter so hard. I cried for Gideon after he attacked Eva again. His whole demeanour when he left her apartment was of a broken man. So sad. I don't have a favourite passage, but one that does stand out is this "I never gave you the key to my place, you just took it" I cupped his hand between both of mine, placing my gift in his palm. " I'm giving it to you now." Stepping back, I released him, watching as he looked down at the gleaming monogrammed fob with my apartment key on it. It was the best way I could think of to show him that it belonged to him and that it was given freely. His hand fisted, losing tightly around my gift. After a long minute, he looked up at me and I saw the tears that wet his face."no" I whispered , my heart breaking further. I cupped his face in my hands, my thumbs brushing over his cheekbones, "please don't". Gideon caught me up, his lips pressing to mine. "I don't know how to walk away." So sad. :(
  12. D. A. M. N IT!!! Yes it worked. Lol
  13. I agree with Corinne going early, Gideon will only hurt Eva and Corinne if he keeps up the charade. He needs to single for a while, even though we know different. Wink wink. He needs to keep his head down, and let things calm down.
  14. i would love this scenario, but without an angry Victor. We are such a bunch of romantics, and want this couple to have a happy time for a change. :)
  15. We would be tearing our hair out, theorising how the next book is going to go. Da*n it!
  16. June(may) the 4th be with you! obi wen kenobi
  17. I would say a romantic dinner for 2, slow dancing, and some s*xy time. Just the two of them. Eva in her red dress and Gideon in his tux. :)
  18. H*ll I've gone over my 1,000 posts and not realised it. :)
  19. This is like waiting for a baby to be born. The anticipation and suspense.
  20. He bought the house. I've seen the cheque stub. :)
  21. I think we should have our copies now, so we can continue theorising, and making ourselves go nuts!!! Lol :)
