  1. Hi Gabri. Henry Cavill. And he's English. He is Superman, in the new movie for the summer.
  2. It's a good thing this chapter ended calmly. They were both feeling raw. All the re-organising Gideon had to do, at a moments notice, while Eva slept. Instead of flying down, changing drivers, change of plans.
  3. Behave woman! But I know what you mean. Purrrrrr!
  4. I can't remember the name of the film, but he does look good with longer hair. Hmmmm
  5. It's probably his way of avoiding getting hurt again. Mummy being the main culprit.
  6. Until I joined this forum, I had never thought of Gideon as having triggers like Eva. Seeing Eva in Brett's arms was his worst nightmare. We see this confident, strong, passionate man, when really his shell is so fragile. Although Eva has she will marry him, he won't believe it till she says "I do". His insecurities are off the scale.
  7. Very nice. Put a smile on my face. Perfect Gideon.
  8. Sharon. Huh. I thought I was the only one to notice the hospital blunder. Hahaha
  9. Eva also needed to know she was more than a quick f*ck with Brett. More than just another girl in the crowd, to be used for the night. That was why she later went on to make sure her relationships included friendship, she wasn't going to be used ever again. She learnt self respect. But she still has a self esteem issues which need addressing.
  10. Totally agree. They both have a lot to learn.
  11. I like Taylor. I like Angus. Good solid characters.
  12. Definitely. The poor girls shoulders are already laden with her mums guilt, Gideons murder, Carys beating, and her own abuse. How much more can she endure, like Gideon, before one of them snaps!
  13. He needs someone to stand up to him, not be a yes person all the time. He needs challenging.
  14. Eva has been there already, Gideon, Brett and the tattoo guy, getting the below job(as called by the Victorians )! Bit of English history. Eva knows the hurt already.
  15. I agree. I wonder how bad Gideon felt, while Eva was sleeping, knowing what he put her through. He was hurting, what about poor Eva. It's a wonder she didn't collapse.
  16. Especially American politics, history, and general trivia. Not forgetting Italian lessons. And dodgy English humour! And Scottish sayings. :)
  17. I wonder how uncomfortable Angus felt, hearing her crying and screaming at Gideon? Does Gideon tell Angus everything? How much does Angus know about Eva's past? Does Angus rebuke Gideon for some of his actions? Oh I could go on. I need answers.
  18. What amazed me, was Gideon said to Eva, "Your all I want, Eva. There's no one else. There will never be anyone else." They have a lovely weekend, just the two of them. Romantic and s*xual. Then bam! Monday comes, and he goes out with Corinne. How to screw up your girlfriend in one easy lesson. :(
  19. Favourite passage. "If you wanted him, it wouldn't be enough to let you go. I want you too much. I want you with me, in my life, in my bed. If I can have that, nothing else matters. I'm not to proud to take what I can get." "Angel" he breathed, lowering his head to press his cheek to mine. "You can't let me go, either."
  20. Well here we are. Chapter 10. This was quite a disturbing chapter. I cannot believe Gideon did what he did to Eva, to get her to admit why she kissed Brett. It was a wonder he didn't trigger her big time. The way he controlled Eva, was cold, calculated, and too detached. Yes he was hurting, but so had Eva. Treating her like a w*ore, making her strip-was that so she couldn't escape? I'm surprised Angus didn't pull over saying enough! Yes he reminded her about her safe word, but she refused to use it, because she knew he had an ulterior motive. This was a very dark Gideon. One that you wouldn't want to cross. No pun intended!
