I'm actually surprised he went home, knowing that his daughter had been interviewed by the police investigating a murder so close to home. Especially given Eva's reaction to the news. Didnt alarm bells start ringing? Or perhaps he thought he could investigate better from his side of the country.

I hope Eva has her hearing aid in tomorrow, cause Gideons going to be whispering to her, in chapter 7. Lol Just a thought, but I wonder if something happened between a friend of Gideons and his mother, hence the comment "he's Eva's friend mother. That makes him mine as well." Was it a hands off warning?

Yes Gideon and Ireland will have a relationship, I'm sure Eva will make sure of that. Corinne will be going back to France on the new ship Titanic 2. Sorry number 1 is a secret. :(

I think you summed that up extremely well. Monica is going to get the anger big time. Can't blame the chap for letting rip. it's not about Monica's guilt, it's about a 10 year old girls childhood being lost, in the most indescribable, degrading and destructive way. It's also not just the rape, she had to endure a pregnancy that resulted in a miscarriage. I think he will lose all respect for Monica. Victor will probably want to shake Gideons hand when he puts the pieces together.

Agreed. But once connections were made between Nathan, Gideon and Eva, Graves and Minchin could spill the beans to Victor to try and trap Gideon. Would Gideons legal team be told about Eva's abuse?

I'm hoping Eva tells her father (albeit a conversation I wouldn't want to have) before he hears it from an outside source, ie Detective Graves or even worse reading about it in the papers-Eva's worse nightmare. She can then explain her reasons for not wanting him to know. That would be one emotional conversation. Poor girl.

I agree. He loves his girl,and not to be told then and kept in the dark, even now, I would think icy rage and devastation are two emotions he will feel. How would you feel?

I think, Angus was a force for good. As his bodyguard and role model, his loyalty to Gideon is quite touching, also cause it extends to Eva now, realising what she means to Gideon. Yes I hope too that we find out more about how/why Gideon trusts him, so much.

Poor Victor. At the beginning of Bared, his first conversation to Eva, he says "some nights I wake up in a cold sweat thinking about you in New York. I get through it by telling myself you're too smart to take chances, thanks to two parents who've drilled safety rules into your DNA." Oh Victor if only you knew, what's happened/happening to your little girl. He will be mortified. I can see Eva throwing herself into her job, when the sh*t hits the fan, and the media goes mad. That will probably be her saviour.

Totally agree. His self restraint must have been phenomenal. How/what does Angus know? Been there before perhaps? I can't think of anyone not wanting to punch Nathan's lights out. Form an orderly queue! :)

I don't think Gideon would let Nathan walk away with them, even if they were copies. Poor Gideon having to witness the evidence of Eva's abuse. His world must have fallen apart. I'm surprised Nathan was able to leave upright. Do you think Gideon would destroy them or keep them as evidence?

All they really have to do is sit back and let the media work themselves into a frenzy. I agree, Eva needs to be up front with Brett, she aint going down that road again. but will he take no gracefully, given that he wrote a song and thought about her, hoping she would turn up at his gigs. I'm sure Victor would have something to say!

Totally agree. I wonder if the cops have the originals from Nathan's apartment. I'm surprised Gideon, having a "key" to Nathan's hotel room didn't go and search the place himself while Nathan was out.
