My guess is she's on the birth control shot -- like "The Pill" it's hormones to stop ovulation. But the shot is needed only once every three months, a lot less complicated than birth control pills, which need to be taken every day.

actually the shot (depo provera) cause either no period or  alot of irregular bleeding rather than regular and most women either love it or hate it

hiya. I'm thinking she is on an implant. This period only lasted a couple of days compared to a week before. Probably wrong as everyone is different. I'll leave that up to the expert obstetrician of this forum, Golfergirl.

OK So hello from ob/gyn world: The choices on what she's on are endless: I think maybe prgesterone IUD (mirena)...alot of women are opting for that now and most women still get regular menses on it, but certainly clearly OCPs have been the romantic novel standard for years (I happen to think about that as I read, and all these pregnant women are driving me nuts),,,as for the implant (implanon) question I don't know that many women are opting for that, at least not that I see, but that's also an option, I think that most women get periods with that...

 

and I have to re say again if Henry Cavill (who is clearly all over the TV these days with superman promotions) doesnt get cast as Gideon will we all have a fit or what....

So I was trying to attach a new henry pic but don't know how,,,anyway as I was thinking of our henry/gideon obsession, boy are we all going to be disappointed if he doesnt get cast...anybody know a casting director in Hollywood...

 

and the only other thing Ive been thinking lately is that I thought it was too soon for Gideon/Eva to go public at the Thursday night gala after such a short time after the murder,,,too premature for my taste, cold case or not...

Did Nathan's murder really go down the way Detective Grave's told Eva?  We know she was right about Gideon's alibi, but still don't know if that's really how it went down.

 

Can you PLEASE ship Corrine off to parts unknown?  Oh and throw Brett, the Lucas', Deanna, and Tatiana off the ship too...   I will say that I actually liked Brett, but Eva told him flat out that she loves Gideon.  He still pushes after that and even talks about getting inside her, etc.  JERK

 

Will we get to "hear" the recorded conversation between Gideon and Victor?  Something fishy there... Victor thought Gideon was cheating on Eva and then BAM, he gives his blessings for a proposal?  It makes me wonder if Victor knows what Gideon did to protect Eva.  Hmmm... my mind runs in circles thinking about this!

My next question is Why did Eva say YES..?

I have an Elizabeth Vidal related question, which ties into Elizabeth confronting Eva near the very end of Entwined and which stretches back into Reflected.

 

Timeline:

Final weekend of Reflected (Saturday night) - Eva confronted Elizabeth for her (Elizabeth) further damaging the sexually traumatized child Gideon by failing to believe Gideon had been abused. Elizabeth's reaction was to still insist the abuse didn't happen and to defend herself for having had Gideon examined by pediatricians. 

Final Tuesday of Reflected - Gideon had chased Eva to Dr. Lucas' office, and from GPS tracking had known that Eva also had gone to Corrine's address earlier that morning. But Gideon also knew Eva had caused some sort of problem with Elizabeth.

 

Question: How did Gideon know something happened between Eva and Elizabeth over the weekend?

 

Possibilities:

• Did Elizabeth in fact call Gideon soon after that fight Eva picked with her and say something about it (maybe not the truth but possibly to claim his "ex" was a some sort of nutjob)?
• Or was Eva right at the end of Entwined to accuse Elizabeth of having not dared to say a thing about that first fight.
• If Elizabeth had in fact kept her mouth shut, then how did Gideon find out very soon after Eva had gone after his mother? Had  Christopher Jr. been the one who told Gideon that Eva somehow upset their mother the Saturday night Eva ran into the Vidals?

 

I think Elizabeth called Gideon and told him about the conversation with EVA, thats my vote

As for EWY I imagine she knew she was pregnant and was in denial...If she had come to see me I would have set her real straight

I found it difficult to believe that Corrine was 4 months pregnant and not showing. How could she not realize she was pregnant. I'll have to defer to our resident gyn Dr. Golfergirl to answer this one.

Hello from ob gyn world...I could tell you stories about patients who couldn't imagine they were pregnant until at least the baby started moving, which for first time mothers is usually about 21-22 weeks (5 months),,,I try not to watch TV where the women didn't know they were pregnant the entire time, pretty hard to believe...and I know that in many of these cases denial is a strong tool...

 

and for heavy women you don't necessarily show at 4 months, but thin women usually you can tell a little something but I have many patients that dress cleverly if they are not "out in their pregnancy"(many women wait till the anatomy scan to say that the kid is ok before they go public), but clearly the women all know themselves,,,and in this day of ultrasound very few women get by without knowing they are pregnant very early on,

 

sometimes I get a lady who just missed her period for a day or two and wants me to assure her that the baby is ok and she is pregnant,,,and I laugh and ask them "What are you 2 hours pregnant"?

Thank you!!  My Nook wouldn't download my pre-ordered book last night either.  I was trying to do it from the Nook app on my tablet though.  I went to the bn website and it let me download there.  I refreshed on my tablet and it showed up.  Hopefully they get it sorted out soon.  I would've been going nuts if I didn't already have the paperback book to read.

Can someone please help me get the audio version?  I finished the book and now I want to listen to it while I work.    I've never gotten an audio version before.  I went on Audible.com, but there are a lot of Kindle mentions and I don't have one.  I have a Nook.  I looked on BN.com for the audio version for my Nook, but all I see are CD's.  Please help!  Do I just download it on Audible and listen to it from my computer?

 

 

We think that barnes and noble is having a problem today,,,I was supposed to get the ebook and it won't allow it to download and on facebook others have commented the same...I imagine that's the problem with you audio version...

I must say I hadn't envisoned a particular/specific man when I read Bared and Entwined,,,and since we've all been after Henry Cavill I think I envisioned him more in this one,,,I'm ready for the TV series,,,think I'm getting a little ahead of myself???
