I think Brett and Eva do need to have one more encounter. Where she tells him about the sex tape he reveals he already knew about it and kinda wants it released to help boost the Six-Ninth fame. Yes, they are equals in bed definitely. Like you said Gideon has dominance over Eva but she has to allow him and on some occasions she doesn't allow it. Because she willingly gives her self over to Gideon and he gives himself completely to her as well it really doesn't matter who is in control. Gideon knows he is taking sex to a new level with the straps so Gideon reasures Eva that he will stop if she says so even if she doesn't mean it. If she were to say "stop" or "no" and not really mean it they could always start back up again. But the safeword stops everything period and so that gives her peace of mind that she will never be pushed too far.

I can relate to this on personal level but we won't go into detail. The right frame of mind Gideon wants Eva to be in is a submissive one. Yeah I definitely think Graves would go after Gideon if she had the evidence to arrest him. But I also think that she isn't too broken hearted that a pedophile and mob d.ouche are dead and Gideon is getting away with it. The only thing I bet she doesn't like is someone planting evidence and she has no way of knowing if it going to come back and haunt everyone. Since no one seems to know who it was. Although I think it was Clancy.

Gideon did say he recorded him asking Victor for permission to marry Eva so I hope and pray that Eva listens to it so we all know what was said.

But Graves probably doesn't like that there is someone out there planting evidence. And wants to know their angle.

I don't necessarily think Graves is pulling Gideon and Eva. I think if she had the evidence arrest Gideon she would because she is a cop first and foremost. At the end of RIY I thought she was h.ell bent to nail Gideon's a.ss with a murder charge, but not so much anymore. I think she honestly believes Gideon isn't a threat to anyone else ( that's why she asked Eva for Victor's opinion of Gideon she wanted to see if their opinions matched up) Graves probably is fine with Gideon being free after seeing all the photos but will definitely do her job if somehow evidence comes forward implicating Gideon.

I think Graves was telling Eva the case was cold and not to worry about the police for now. But since Eva and Graves( she just can't prove it) both know Gideon killed Nathan the braclet is a lose end that could lead to Gideon getting caught. So Graves is warning Eva to worry that someone else knows.

Gideon is a self professed Dominant.
