He also didn't think of how it would effect Eva when she found all the stuff in there and saw it for what it really was to him. Â

Hi Gigi, I'm right there with you on this!! I liked Trey in the beginning but you're right he was not good for Cary because of Trey's lack of acceptance that Cary was bisexual. He expects Cary to just be gay and that's not Cary. I'm actually liking Tatiana with Cary. It seems like she doesn't to change him and she knew to dress in s****y nurse costume for him when she visited him which he liked and said she must know him well. I'm wondering if she's going to be in EWY.

I'm kind of on the fence on this one because on previous posts, gideon always had sexual intercourse at the f****pad hotel that is until Eva broke him of that rule. I would like to think had she not suggested they find a place nearby that he wouldn't taker her there but rather back to her place instead.     Â

I hope Sylvia will go a little more into Cary's past because I'm curious as to what happened in his early years. We only get bits and pieces but I'm hoping for a little more. I agree with you. Cary needs to work on companionship. He doesn't want to be with someone who wants to change him like Trey wants to which is good because if he allowed Trey to change him, Cary would be miserable. Â

Cary would do much better in modeling then a 9-5 job. he's got the looks and as Eva pointed out in BTY, he didn't always look like this. He needs to see he's gorgeous and capable of being loved and in love with someone who treats him how he should be treated. Eva envisions him being famous and I think he is well on his way and he's got Stanton to help invest that hard earned money. Aside from the setback from being almost beaten to death by nathan, Cary was doing well landing modeling jobs..in agreement, cary deserves nothing but the best. Â

I really like Cary. he is such a great friend and brother figure to Eva and he's had such a rough upbringing that he deserves a happy ending but he needs to see that he is self sabatoging his relationships. Gideon had to come to terms that Cary will always hold a special place in her heart and will always be part of her life. Whatever makes Eva happy, makes Gideon happy. He will definitely help Cary with getting the right connections to the right people who will make his career soar.   Â

I couldn't agree with you more about this. I really hope in either EWY or the next two books, monica, eva and cary come to this realization.

hi gabri, I'm surprised she didn't say anything to him before she left because I wonder if he would've taken her to his apartment after she had a few words with him when he came out of the shower. Her actions of running away spoke volumes and really scared him. I felt bad for him. Â

and that's why I think Magdalene deserves to be Gideon's friend & make an appearance in the next book. I think she and Arnoldo should be an item too in the next book! I like her now and she deserves to have someone who makes her happy and get far away from the evil clutches of Chris Jr. ever happning again : )

it's not a romantic song so don't laugh but the song by Mumford and Sons "I will wait" makes me think of Gideon & Eva when he tells her in the elevator to be patient and wait. I'm having a spring fever kind of day so my brain is fried lol

I feel like I'm always behind when I'm trying to catch up too the next day. I have to remind myself to go to bed at night or else I'll be up burning the midnight oil. lol

I'll take an entire chapter over snippets anyday!  lol : )

I think characters like Will and Megumi are just background characters who are just there in the storyline for Eva to have as friends in the office and to interact with but not get involved fully in the story as main characters. We never do a get a name for the red headed receptionist so she's likely to pop up occasionally as the receptionist who gives eva the sour puss because Eva snagged Gideon. We know Gideon's secretary's name is Scott but not hers lol.

Agreed! Arnoldo wants his friend Gideon to be happy and yes once he sees Gideon happy with Eva again, he will forgive Eva. I can totally see Magdalene and Arnoldo being a couple set up by Gideon : )

Agreed! I'm sure he was very worried he'd lose a great worker because of Cross's reputation once he saw Cross's attention was focused on Eva. I didn't really see it as stepping over the line but someone who cared about her as a person enough to warn her about Cross.

maybe that's the chapter with the snapshot of business headline and the cup of coffee?? I think he would be so proud of her being a success.

Hi Gigi! You can just call me Caroline. I had to add the 628 at the end because there's another Caroline on here. I'm in total agreement with you. Monica & Stanton think of Cary as family but you can only come to a family member's financial rescue before you have to stop enabling them and make them financially independent. Eva never wanted to be financially dependent on Monica and Stanton and why she gives them a hard time when they shower her & Cary with gifts. I think once Cary gets back on his feet, he's going to be on his way to being financially independent in his modeling career and once he stops self sabatoging his love life, he will be happy in his life. I'm proud that Eva didn't settle and take the cushy job Stanton would've gotten her and instead took the entry level job as Mark's assistant where she is doing well and loves her job. I can see her being successful and moving up.  Â

When I read BTY,Eva described the red head at the Advocacy dinner as a woman in her 40's and isn't her husband also in his 40's?? I thought it might be her. I really don't want Anne to make an appearance in any upcoming books. but since gideon slept with her to get revenge on dr. lucas, i'm sure that will come up once again.
