I think Chris Jnr thought he had a chance with Eva after the end of Reflected when she went to lunch with him as a kind of get Gideon back after his date with Corrine

I think Gideon would actually be better for Cary's career rather than the other Vidal's so maybe Gideon's way of getting back in the good books with Cary would be to get him out there and onto some good contracts through his contacts. Â Just a thought

I have been thinking about that and I think Brett may have invited both of them and taking Cary out to help him get over the beating would be a good thing for Eva also to spend some time with her BFF. Â Â We know Gideon got the connection in Reflected so I imagine Chris Jnr will probably put it together and maybe play on that. Â He could make it a publicity stunt to get more sales.

Hi Sharonm  I think Gideon probably saw the picture but when Nathan started to show the video, I think that is when Gideon probably launched himself at Nathan and would not watch it, just the thought that Nathan had videoed his lovely Eva would have thrown him into a rage, it probably brought up painful memories for him of his rape but seeing Eva helpless like that I don't think Gideon would have been able to stomach.  I am with you on Victor is a father first and cop second, he will be delighted that someone stood up for his little girl but I think he will be shocked and disgusted at what the Detective found in Nathan's apartment but I also think Victor will put two and two together and will know Gideon did it.  I am thinking more now that there will be a trial but probably not a lengthy one otherwise it may take up so much of the book and you don't just want to read about that for a full book.  I don't think Gideon will go to Jail though like you, I think there will not be enough evidence to send him there and maybe after all that is cleared up Gideon and Eva can come out of hiding.

yes same here, it always made me feel like it was a really personal thing between them to show how they thought about each other, Best Friends etc

I think Gideon will be seething if he see's Eva with Gideon but like you say he can do nothing about it but maybe when they are back alone with each other he will express to Eva how Jeleous he really is LOL

I think the photographer could be following Eva around more than Gideon looking for a story of her and Brett, especially after what you have said here LN, it makes more sense. Â Thanks

I felt so sorry for Eva in chapter 5, she knew something was upsetting her man but he would not open up and so she felt he was pushing her away. Â I actually felt a bit sorry for Gideon, can you imagine, he witnessed her violent nightmare and then they slept together and then she was out of the bed before him which she never had done, if I was Gideon I would have been a bit put out as well as if she was shutting him out and not being close to him, Gideon may have felt a bit left out here.

I liked how Gideon opened up a wee bit to Eva in Chapter 6 with telling her how he got his money, don't have a fav. quote yet, will have to go back and re-read it.

I know, but I get anxious when I read what everyone thinks as well and the conclusions people come up with, I just wish it was out by now. Â I keep re-reading chapter 1 and the snippet from chapter 2 trying to get a better insight but nothing works

Oh I know Julie, I feel your nerves I am like that as well, I cannot believe we still have over 2 weeks to wait, the suspense is killing me. Â You know in Bared I did not like Gideon much I felt he was too demanding and controlling of Eva and quite brisk with her ( well in the beginning of the book) but then when I read more I saw how vulnerable a person he actually was and in Reflected you see more of his insecurity over Eva and her leaving him if he did something wrong and I think that does not help him but I think Eva is starting to rely more on him which is making him feel wanted and he has someone to look after and keep safe as she is his life. Â In Entwined thought I think we shall see a more shattered Gideon as yes what he has done will play on him and he will need closure and closely watched so he does not go back to the depths of depression and I think only Eva's love and reassurance to him of how much she loves him and that she is grateful to him will keep him going. Â I hope he does not shut Eva off but open up to her and talk to her, he is so aware of how much she has to cope with but I think Nathan being dead will be a great weight of her and she will show that to Gideon which will hopefully help in his recovery. Â Just Eva being there for him I am hoping will help him immensely.

That is such a good line and I think it shows that he loves Eva completely and deeply and not just for the s*x but because she understands him and listens to him and does not want to be with him just because of his money but because of who he is and how he is helping her

Hey Julie  You know what I had that same feeling when I started seeing all the pictures about the secrets and the wording about "catching you out and hurt someone" and I just felt that maybe the secret for Gideon is weighing heavily on him and the sneaking around meeting up with Eva playing on both of them.  I am like you I have this gut feeling that Gideon will be arrested maybe not convicted (well fingers crossed not) but I think they will bring him in for more questioning and find they don't have enough evidence to convict him but I think this is going to be a hard time for both of them (Gideon and Eva) and it could be emotionally hard on all us fans reading and listening to it all.  I am on chapter 19 on Reflected on audio, been listening on way to work and home and Saturday hubby worked nighshift and there was nothing on TV so sat and listed to audio some more.  :)

it never works like that does it LOL Â Gosh this latest picture could be about anything, I think the main one that comes to mind is Gideon & Eva are not hiding or have been caught out,

I agree here Julie, If Monica had the support of her family I think she would have been a stronger person and not so needy. Â Monica relies heavily on the Therapy and her money husbands for her security but I can also see that she cannot except that Eva is so much stronger than she is.Â
