I'm reading Seven Years to Sin again, then going back to Gideon and Eva. Suffering from withdrawal symptoms!!! Lol

I had a crazy reading weekend.  I stayed home on Friday because I was sick and in bed most of the weekend.  I read three novella's by Maya Banks Understood, Overheard and Undenied.   These were written following the same premise of the KGI series.  They are about a group of friends and how their lives intertwine. Each book focuses on one character but the others are part of the story.  I love the KGI series and bought these as soon as I finished KGI.  The e-books are very inexpensive so this must be an older series. 

 

Sheena suggested Jane's Melody and I have to say thank you, thank you, thank you.  OMG what a great story.  I don't know if it is because the main character is a little older (40) or what but I just empathized with Jane.  I cried and laughed with Jane, felt her fear and joy.   It is one of those great stories that takes you through every emotion.  Thanks Sheena.

 

I downloaded Sylvia's historical novels but I won't have too much time to read over the next couple weeks.  We are now in our peak season meaning extra hours and I'll be exhausted when I get home. 

I am so glad you liked Jane's Melody, I knew you would, I just loved it, I know Ryan appreciates it when people leave messages on Good Reads or FB or Amazon telling how much they liked or did not like the book so please leave a review.  He replies back to you as well which is really cool

I absolutely loved them. Alistair, Christopher St. John, and Marcus, were the favourites!

I can see where a lot of inspiration came from, with Gideon and Eva, reading these books.

Loved the old English, and how it has evolved over the years.

For future reference, the word f*ck made its appearance in the 15th century. I thought it was a lot younger than that.

Gosh I did not know that Julie, thanks for that, I was always surprised in the historical novels that the word F**k was in there I thought it was later in the centuries that it appeared.

 

I loved Christopher St John and Alistair and Marcus as well, all great books

I would love to see HC in an untucked white dress shirt with rolled up sleeves and jeans like Gideon wore to the Vidal Garden Party hopefully Sheens can dig one out of her bag of tricks. Lol!! :)

I shall have a look around ladies and see what I can find

gabri you are so so funny!!  This pic reminds me when Gideon followed Eva to her room in his penthouse and he put his hands above the door to wait for her to come back out, when she gave him the key on the key fob.  You remember???

I never thought of that but you are so right Barb, it could be Gideon leaning on Eva's door frame

We still have at least four months before book 4 is out. Going quietly insane in the uk. But I have Sylvia's Georgian series to keep me going. Did you finish the pirate story? Gone back to Marcus and Elizabeth.

I agree with you both, I know nothing will come out before Afterburn comes to release but it would be nice to even see the cover of the next book.

Thank you for taking the time to explain this.  I have tried to do exactly what you said and every time I try to post the image (wonderful image of HC I might add), I keep getting "image error" on the post and it doesn't allow me to post.  I think I will have to farm this out to someone with computer experience.  Perhaps I am doing something wrong....I don't know.  Do you have any ideas?

It could be a problem with your settings for security, I know some people have that but I am not sure how to fix it.
