Accidental repeat.

Christopher is like a little banty rooster, all noise and swagger. But Vidal Records would've gone under if Gideon hadn't acquired the majority interest. Christopher knows how dependent he is on Gideon. He has a big mouth but so far he hasn't shown any aptitude for making it on his own. Since he insists on embarrassing Eva and Gideon with Brett's band, I'm delighted that big brother has apparently laid down the law.

Or Arnoldo... It's sad but there are way too many people in their lives who aren't supportive who it could be. Maybe part of Gideon's journey in the last two books will be to rid his life of these relationships that don't serve him well. Especially that awful mother of his!

I wonder if Victor will ever put two & two together regarding Nathan's murder. Victor is a good cop. But he's also a great daddy, so I can't imagine that he'd have a sserious problem with it. I certainly don't.

That's a good possibility. Plus it explains the champagne if Eva listened to it before the second wedding or on the first honeymoon.

Of course I'd rather have the actual book in my hands but, in the meantime, thank God for Teaser Tuesday!!! I think Victor is either talking to Eva just prior to walking her down the aisle OR having a heart to heart with his new son-in-law. It may even figure into his wedding toast, given the champagne flute. Can't wait until we all know for sure.

I'm anxious, too, but I have to say that Sylvia ' s output is phenomenal especially given the schedule she keeps. I'm glad that Captivated and the final novel will be released close together. Because I know myself well enough to know that I'll probably read "Captivated By You" in one sitting and then be even more desperate for #5 than I am now! On the first reading I'm unable to savor these books slowly. I gobble.

I'm really surprised that she didn't tell Cary on the flight out to SD. Maybe Cary already knows they're married at this point but has been sworn to secrecy. Or maybe Eva was so hurt by Cary's "whack job" comment that she decided to tell Victor first.
