I liked the Shadows Stalkers series. Maybe Razor's Edge & Blood and Roses were too short to my taste, but I appreciate Sylvia's synthesis skills.

I believe Deanna is not as controlled as Gideon thinks, but if she dares to hurt Eva making public something big, take for granted Gideon will destroy her... and she knows -because she's smart enough- she'll never win a war like that. BTW, the only place I want to see Deanna is giving Gia information about Jax and his relatives (Afterburn/Aftershock), not messing around here.

 

I think the bitter enemy out of shadows is Corinne. Inestable, bringing back Geoffrey's suicide with her attempt, and in a too good relation with Lizzie.

Christopher supporting Lizzie while she supports Corinne instead of supporting her own son (again) just to try to put Eva out of the scene? Gideon's brain a mess 'cause he just can't afford another suicide or attempt around him after his father's, Hugh's and Corinne's? Corinne trying to take profit of Gideon's guilt to tie him to her though she must know he's engaged (but not he's married and even so she doesn't mind)? Eva trying to put sense on him, again and again, telling him than none of them were his fault? Eva and Giroux working together to find out the root of this issue, which finally is Anne?

BTW, I agree with  Nathalia and dgcafffeine, a baby right now would not be a good idea. Too many issues to work with, Eva's career to develope... but 5 years later, still loving the idea of a baby Cross.
