I'm starting to this the teaser and the Wedding Wednesday are related. Â They had been traveling and by her saying she didn't want him to be sick for the wedding makes it seem the wedding will be within days. So they had combined or at the very least partied in the same city. Maybe something happened during the trip that now he has to "deal" with. Less than two weeks to go!

if she's worried about him getting sick, maybe she is sick and that is why he wants her to nap and only kisses her on the head

Just finished RIY, man it twist my stomach when Gideon tell Eva about his abuse, and then again when the detective tells Eva about Gideon killing Nathan. I haven't read this book as many times as the others, because it's just all around too sad. Not as sad as a Colleen Hoover book, I don't cry, but dang to much emotions. Now, onto EWY, my favorite of the books. Hoping OWY will become my favorite. Hope we get a teaser sometime today.   Â

I wondered about that too, Mark seemed shocked that she was quitting. I thought, why did it matter if he was going to work at CI. Maybe he wanted her to stay till the end of October with him, then that would give him time to try to talk her into going with him to CI. Â

I also agree I don't think Cary has anything to be forgiven for. They were not exclusive, even though I think Tray wasn't seeing anyone other than Cary. Mostly because I don't think he had time due to work and school schedule. He wasn't happy about Tat, but mostly because she was a woman. Cary said himself, Tray wouldn't be half as mad if it was another man.  Another topic we discussed previously, Dr Lucas. I just started RIY, and yes Dr Lucas was married when Gideon was 12/13.  He's 45, and been married for 20 years, so yes Hugh was his brother in law at the time of the abuse. So there is my question again, why would Elizabeth consult the brother in law of her son's accused abuser. I want that answer. Â

He's the narrator for Gideon's POV in CBY's  audio book . He will also be reading it in OWY. His voice was a bit rough, I alway imagined Gideon's voice would be smooth.Â

Lily is the female, maybe a cousin to the Vidal's? I get we'll wait and see!

I'm sure when Sylvia started writing these books she thought it would be 3, but as the story progressed there was just too much for 3 books. I get irritated when I read series and at the last of the book the author seems to cram all the answers at once  I'm glad we are able to see thing pan out in a timely manner. Also it seems in other series not all the questions are answered. I hope that's not the case in OWY.    Â

What did ya'll think of Jeremy York's voice for Gideon? I didn't like it at first, but it grew of me. The Crossfire Series are my go to audio books when I'm doing yard work, so it will be nice to have a new one. Lots of yard work in Texas and it all starts in April! Started reading BTY this morning! Â

I'm thinking we'll get some more Chapter 1 on Good Friday or Easter, but today would be nice. Happy St Patrick's Day!

I think as a 5/6 year old, Christopher would have been more scared to say anything especially if Hugh had threatened him. Gideon didn't say anything for almost a year, so I would think there was some kind of threat. Also, if he wasn't abusing Christopher, Gideon's abuse happened in the bathroom so Christopher wouldn't have seen it.Â

I never thought about Angus putting a stop to it. I like that, he's a good man. I agree if he found out he would done anything to protect Gideon.Â

Another thing about Elizabeth, I will be curious if will be discussed in OWY, is why she would "consult" a doctor that is the brother in law of her child's accused molester? That in it's self is strange. I don't think Dr Lucas actually ever examined Gideon. He says himself Gideon was never his patient.  We know he had a role in the covering it up, but I hope we get more specifics.  Â

I think he left her because she lied to him/ kept it from him. His son was also exposed to Hugh and as we discussed before could have also been abused. Elizabeth is a selfish woman and has deceived her husband.  I believe she  didn't want to believe Gideon because if it was true,  there would be police involved the media would find out and that would look bad for their family. Â

If it is every makes it to TV, we have to remember that it's TV so no big movie stars are going to fill these rolls. I think Jared Padalecki  would be a good Gideon. He has the look, the hair, and a great smile. Â

Eve told Gideon he didn't know what he was wroth one time and his said yes he does 24 Bill, then Eva cut him off. 12 Billion would be half of his self worth.

I also think Raul was there. They would have brought someone younger to keep an eye on things during the concert. Also at this point Eva doesn't know Raul so he could blend in.Â

No, and Deanna was only in a small part of the book. I only read Aftershock/Burn one time (I really didn't care for it) and it was alone time ago, but from what I can remember Deanna and Gina (I think was her name) were old "friends" and Deanna stabbed her in the back writing an article that was really bad. If she could do that to a "friend" there is no is Eva and Gideon can trust her.Â

I always thought the email had something to do with Bret and wanting to use the sextape  in the redo of the video. Â

that's good! She always loved her Wednesday lunches with Mark and Steve.

I'm happy! The only thing is, it seems they are still living apart. She with Cary, so that would mean she's not at the penthouse.  Â

Cary has is own issues, but I'm thinking he's growing and dealing with it. I hope if it is Cary's baby that Tat will give him the baby. I don't think she would be a very good mother anyway. I hope Trey and Cary work things out, maybe raise the baby together. Â

I was bummed  we didn't get a teaser again yesterday. It's been weeks! I'd like one with Eva and Cary. I love Cary!

I forgot about Deanna being in Afterburn/Shock. I didn't really care for those books that much. I haven't read Blood and Roses. I might check it out.
