  1. Planned to wake up to Gideon, B&N downloaded the book to my account but wont drop into my library, says still processing. Guess who is getting a phone call when I get into the office. Can you say FUSTRATED!! This is not how I planned on spending my morning.

Yikes!!! Sorry. Waited forever for amazing to download mine.

I am like a zombie right now!!! Soo much to process! Phew.

Fingers crossed yours will come through your library momentarily.

  2. Your going to need time to digest each chapter..!!

OMG!!! Sooo jealous right now. I am about to go out to my local stores and see if I can score a copy,

This is killing me. I actually love spoilers. I always read book as follows: last page, middle (some parts), then beginning THEN and only then start reading from top.

Basically I like knowing the ending, lol,

Gosh I am soo impatient right now! I know it's a few days but my God!!!!!

  3. VIA FB (https://www.facebook.com/AuthorSylviaDay/posts/10151457259938457) SD Notes:

"For those of you worried about the EWY snapshots and how you're going to feel when you get to the end, here are a few snippets of advance reviews:

"This third book was beyond anything I expected, in a good way. Funny, romantic, erotic, inspiring. " - Andrea

"I have only one word for this book- PERFECT!! Just perfect... (Sigh...)" - Aria

"Very romantic. And the best of the series so far..." - Marianne Mathina

There are a lot of pivotal turning points in the book, but I really think you'll love it. At least I hope you do

  4. Remember he was staring at Eva even as he was talking to the brunette and Eva had to interrupt to get her badge back!!

Gid was totally oblivious to the brunette... the brunette kept gushing thank-yous to him....while he was focus on Eva. From the onset, he was drawn to Eva even as his "customary type" was present. He went back to the building for no one else but Eva.

I find myself re-reading/listening via audio to that opening scene from a more enlightened perspective.

  5. OMG, Julie -- how could I forget?!!!

My own burning spoiler question: what was Gideon's hair color policy when it came to the bedroom (er, hotel room in his case)?

The redheaded Anne Lucas does not count toward official policy, because she was a revenge f*** not Gideon feeling frisky enough to get laid. Soooooo ..... when Gideon fell into a h.o.r.n.y mood, was the rule:

    • Only brunettes need apply?
    • Brunettes need not apply, I don't want to mix dating and sex like I did with Corrine, so no more brunettes in bed?
    • Doesn't really matter - blonde, brunette, redhead. As long as she's willing, available and without expectations of anything more.
I guess it matters because it had while it been love at first sight when Gideon looked into Eva's eyes, it had been just burning l.u.s.t when he saw her out on the sidewalk, looking up at the Crossfire in awe -- him envisioning her on her knees looking up at him that way. Did she catch his eye sexually because she wasn't a brunette -- OR -- did she catch his eye despite the fact she wasn't a brunette?

I'd like to think it didn't matter one way or another. I'd like to think that the whole brunette thing was a Mommy issue, plain and simple, that Gideon was unconsciously striking back at his trophy wife brunette mother, who chose her rich husband's bribed doctors over her own child. Gideon is getting even with trophy girlfriend brunettes, ones he refuses to become intimate with, because his only attempt to combine both -- Corrine -- ended badly.

If it's true he f*** only brunettes too, well I find that more disturbing, because it does make Corrine along with his mother far more of a sexual fetish issue.

Either way, Eva has broken the Reign of the Brunettes. But I still want to know just how deeply the issue ran with him before he fell in love with an amazing woman who just happened to be blonde.

It's interesting as when GidEva met, a brunette was present that presumably fit right up Gid's "qualifications" but Gid paid her no mind and was drawn to Eva.

In the opening chapter of BTY, Eva states "I was walking towards the bank of elevators, when a svelte, beautifully groomed brunette caught her purse in the turnstile and upended it spilling a deluge of change....."

I will say reading over that first chapter, can provide some insights per say, no??? It represents a major shift, now that we then "know a little bit more?"

  6. Hi KiMa,

Thanks for taking the time to post the entire first chapter of the next book.  It was very kind of you.  Thanks again.

No worries at all! We got partial glimpse into chapter 2 as well.

Ps-I was wondering where you were as it was dead silence on your end for some time now!

I always appreciate your insights etc so welcome back :)

  7. If Andie's theory is right that the countdown pictures are in reverse order from the snapshots, then this plane picture coincides with the detective shield (Chapter 14).

It'd be risky for Gideon to fly somewhere while still under active investigation, even though technically he's still free to move about. His own lawyers would have strongly advised him to stick around New York. If the cops for a minute thought he might be trying to flee somewhere, they'd seize on that as the appearance of guilt, and the prosecutor would rush to try to get an arrest warrant. Right now, his lawyers would be working very hard to make sure the cops never even charge him to begin with -- that the case goes away as "unsolved" because no arrest is made.

A possible theory -- Gideon decides to gamble with the cops, forcing them to either "fish or cut bait." He resumes travelling as a means to try to make the prosecution wake up and smell the coffee -- they don't have enough evidence to be able to prove their case beyond reasonable doubt to a jury, so it's time for them to back the h*** off and let him go on with his life now.

If my theory is right, his legal team is probably going to freak. But Gideon is probably determined he wants the case GONE as soon as possible so that he and Eva no longer need to hide. He wants her back openly. He wants to "put a ring on it." He doesn't want to spend years seeing her in secret while Brett and other men, believing she's single, keep wooing her. His insecurities would lead him to fear that given enough time, Brett might succeed -- or if not him, some other man.

I think it's just a metaphor and shouldn't be taken literal though....

  8. I do at times feel sorry for Gideon with his insecurities, imagine how he must feel, he has had no love most of his live and this gorgeous blonde bombshell comes into his life and not for his money, I think it is going to take a wee while and a lot of persuasion from Eva that she really does love him.

Like Eva said at the end of Reflected (I know we are not there yet in the chapters a day but I finished listening to it last night) She is going to Marry Gideon which speaks volumes to Gideon so hopefully he can hold onto that and develop that and trust her feelings for him. :)

Totally get that but why when it comes to Eva/Cary he flat out said " I know love when I see it."? I mean Eva and Cary have an amazing bond, so much so that even Nathan supposedly attacked Cary.

So how come he knows what "love" looks like?

Also, any thoughts on potential significance of food/snack throughout the book in regards to Eva?

  9. Not that I want to get all FSOG but for those who read it, readers ultimately realized the significance of Christian's obsession with Ana and wanting her to eat and the like and slowly I am picking up some interesting association with Eva and trying to piece together the significance of this even to the point of both Gid and Arnoldo commenting on how much of a pleasure (I am paraphrasing) it is to watch Eva eat.  I may be reading too much into this but anyone have any thoughts?

Also, for someone like Gid where "I love You" doesn’t fully capture his feelings for Eva and the like it always struck me as very interesting when initially in regards to Cary/Eva relationship he asked her and actually thought that Cary was in love with Eva and the like whereas when it comes to Eva and other "interesting" men in her life it's always him asserting that they "want her" and want to "f" her.....  Anyone find this interesting as well?

Gid flat out stated that he knows "Love" when he sees it in regards to Cary/Eva and the who drama with the pic taken by the paps but then again for Eva, saying "I love you" just doesnt do justice.  I tried asking SD this and she stated that more or less we will know when Eva does what the equilavent of "I Love you" is in Gid's world but thought I should see what others thinks

    sorry for the random digression......

  10. There will be a HEA. SD doesn't see them not having one. Marriage is inevitable part of their relationship.

YES---Marriage in the works for them.

SD was like-Gideon will want to put a "ring on it." She explained that they are just too possessive of each

SD hopes Corrine can find love elsewhere before us fans kill her off. Lol.

She explain things like this---Corrine had the ring, she was this close to having it all only to lose it. SD doesn't sympathize with the methods Corrine has used.

  11. I asked if we will hear things from Gideon's POV (my question was called out) and SD says if Gideon opens up that way as the story unfolds then yes but so far he only allows himself to be revealed via Eva's eyes.

She initially was flipping back and forth between both Eva and Gideon but it was really hard re: Gideon didn't open that way.

She said there is a possibility that we may hear from Gideon's POV but for now no
