    This was a question by someone on Facebook and I thought it was quite relevant

    We have no background on Monicas family, I think there are reasons she never shared with Eva for her total lack of explanation, Monica and Eva are almost russian blonde in looks, even Gideon has stated sometimes Eva was like an Ice Princess...I believe that Monica kept her child against her families expectations because she wanted Victors child...but Victor already had plans to be a cop, or was in police academy.....I think Monicas family has ties to Russian Mob...Monica grew up secured with wealth, when she was disowned, she did what she could to secure safety for herself and Eva....stayed clear of Victor even tho she wanted him....she reconized Victor was a GOOD guy, knew she by association could hurt him, took great pains to keep herself clear, then there is always the possibility Monicas family threatened Victor, sooo again Monica established a safety net of wealth for herself and Eva so that she could combat them if they TRIED later to threaten herself, or her daughter. She has married wealthy men, all with protection, and made Evas protection an obession....of course the Nathan thing gave her more cause to become obessed...so she did. But this is just my speculation.

    This theory could be possible. Maybe Monica is protecting Victor.

    Chapter seventeen when Eva and Monica met for lunch. She said something along the lines "everything I've done is for love". Maybe she can't be with Victor because she is protecting him. She says its impossible for her to be with him.

    Clancy or his brother could have planted the bracelet, to protect Gideon, Stanton and Monica. But the Russians could have got wind of what had happened and are now out for blood for sullying one of their members, with a message," don't mess with us!"

     

    I still dont know how they could have planted the bracelet though. Yedemesky was under surveillance when he was killed. Maybe Clancy could have asked his brother? I dont know. Uhg just hope the mob was just a way to clear Gideon and there's nothing more to that story.

    I want to respond to so many posts. Instead I'll just give my thoughts:

    I'm mad at Gideon for dropping everything to go to the hospital. He had no business there. It's not his baby and her husband is in town trying to get her back wtf?

    There's more to Megumi's story. Sylvia mentions her not responding to Eva's concerns often. Is she planted there by someone to spy on Eva? Or dating someone from Eva's past?

    I'm dying to know how Gideon got possession of his mom's engagement ring.

    Don't like Tatiana at all. Cary probably is attracted to her because he has a crush in Eva (both blondes) and she's a witch like his mom. That's what he knows. She'll never go away now that she's knocked-up.

    The office space could be for Eva. Gideon always gets his way. And they have already Christened the sofa!

    Deanna Deanna Deanna needs to not touch Gideon.

    And Christopher Jr. Is a troublemaker. I think he's in between his mom and Corrine stirring it up. He is probably the one behind the music video concept at Times Square and the one feeding Lizzy with the relationship info about Eva and Brett's past.

    I love London. I don't think they can corrupt her. She's so happy getting to know Gideon and sees how cool Eva is. And she recognizes true love.

    Is Victor good for another 20 years? He's single, so I'm more disappointed in momma Monica. Whew! I hope she didn't get pregnant on Eva's bed! Funny how Cary asked Victor if he ever thought of having more kids. OMG. Can you imagine?

    K. That's all I've got.

    OMG Michelle, anything is possible. Monica pregnant theory.

    But Cary crushing on Eva, I don't think so. They have brotherly sisterly love.
