That's so wonderfully true. I look forward to reading the reactions when friends, family and associates find out that they are husband and wife!!! I also remember Arnoldo sorta chaperoned the dinner between Eva and Bret in EWY, don't know if Gideon suggested it or he just took it upon himself to do so!! I agree with you also, I guess Arnoldo is still holding that lip lock with Brett against Eva. Remember she wanted to talk with him and explain some things to him and Gideon said that he would handle it. (this was in RIY at the NC beach house after that horrid limo drive down)

that's a good theory, but then I bet Eva would have to be working at Cross Industries, because I don't think that Waters Field and Leaman would let Eva pick the model to promote the wine; unless Mr. Cross insisted!! In BTY Gideon stated that the only woman in his apartment had been his mother. I wonder how often and the last time that Elizabeth was there.? We know it hasn't been in the last 2 and 1/2 months. That's how long (approximately) Gideon and Eva have been together :)

Gideon doesn't sound mad enough about his mother bad mouthing Eva to him no matter what she is telling him about her. Remember he knows about Eva and Brett's past so he wouldn't be surprised to hear whatever she is telling him. I think it has to do with the abuse. (but I could be totally wrong)

Gideon doesn't hold too much ill will towards his mother...afterall he did say that he didn't want her to suffer through losing everything again when her husband/his father died. He did this by convincing her to convince the Vidals to go public and Elizabeth selling Ireland's shares to Gideon.
