Everyone probably has seen this on Sylvia's home page.....order of her books coming out....Bared To You (hardcover) 1/28/2014  Captivated By You still saying TBA, then Aftershock 3/11/2014  So maybe CBY is going to be Valentine's Day    (fingers crossed) 

Do you think Gideon will go to San Diego with Eva and Cary? I'm hoping he doesn't because I feel like the conversations with their fave therapist and Brett wouldn't be as good if Gideon's presence had any influence on the trip. I am really excited to meet that Dr. they talk about all the time. 

Even if he did go to San Diego with them doesn't mean he would sit in on their discussions.  He could hang with Victor....    Don't know what he would do about the face to face with Bret...(still think he knows about the Video)   If they (Eva and Brett) both wanted to be friends they could have looked each other up and not let 4 years go by....just saying

also......since i am not on facebook or twitter, I hope that someone will post the live chat with Sylvia on Jan. 15... like the last time she had a live chat.,,   hint hint    or if it is on regular TV....maybe I can tape it

food for thought.....I wonder what Gideon would have done if Eva had a girls' night out while they were ":broken up"?   He couldn't insist on going to his clubs and using his limo cause he was supposedly "seeing" Corinne.   I have too much time on my hands....He also made sure she got her ring back (after a few days) after Bret gave that interview about trying to reconnect with Eva.....

what about  Brett Dalton for Gideon....he stars on Agent of Shield on Tuesdays.....he is handsome, has the body and the "Gideon" look.   Only problem his eyes are brown...maybe contacts would work.

love teasers from Gideon's pov.....but I think what was really bothering Eva was the existance of that sex tape and confronting Bret about it when she got to SD., but also the redhead, Deanna..,the bracet and how it got on that russian...etc....wonder what Raul will do....follow her (eva) or join them on the trip.  Can't imagine Gideon letting her go without him.

as everyone thinks that the redhead mentioned at the end of EWY is Anne Lucas, I still think not.  In BTY alone there was mention of a redhead 3 different times.  The redheaded receptionist at Cross Industries, the redhead that spoke to Eva at the advocacy dinner ( and Sylvia did say that it wasn't Anne Lucas) and the redhead that was involved in the menage quartro.  (maybe she is the receptionist and that is how Ian found out it was Gideon that cold cocked him)  Don't remember a new redhead being mentioned in RIY other than when Gideon mentioned why Terry and him hate each other.

 

Loved the snippet from Gideon's point of view....still have lots of questions, but it is a start.....Maybe we were right about a Valentine's Day release of CBY !!!

I was on a 3 hr ferry ride today and forgot my ipad and a book, so I opened my nook app on my phone and began reading ETY to kill the time. I have re-read it a couple times before but just sections at night if I can't sleep and need light reading, but every single time I pick up on things I missed. I'm talking about facial expressions and descriptions of feelings that I read through really quickly and don't pick up on. It seriously changes the scene and the the conversation every time I re-read a conversation.

Reading it has made me anxious for the next book, hopefully in march cause then ill be on spring break and will have time and won't have to rush through it. I am really curious what Dianna meant be "that man has a dark side". I'm assuming she is referring to that time she hooked up TDH and he probably did something kinky. Hopefully we will find out in the next few months! I will say Deanna's role is the most intriguing to me.

I have always believed that the video event was set up not only to promote the band but to embarass Gideon and Eva.  I DO believe this was all orchestrated by Christopher.  He certainly would have heard about the fight between Brett and Gideon over Eva.  I also think he is aware of the illicit video and may have told Deanna about it.  Christopher also appears to have told Lizzie about Eva's past.  I don't have my book with me, but during one of the confontations between Lizzie and Eva, Lizzie says something to the effect of "I know all about you and that singer!"   Christopher is in this up to his neck!

 

I would love either the release date or a snippet!

yes I am with you about Christopher being behind the video launch.  If Gideon had anything to do with it (as he stated in the book)  he would have reviewed the video ahead of time.

ON page 240 of EWY when Darrin said "This whole event was set up just to get us on this TV show and Internet simulcast.  It was the only way Vidal could get them to give us any coverage."   Maybe Christopher does know about the sex tape and the past between Bret and Eva and is trying to get back at Gideon and "hurt" him.

Who is Ian Eva talks to Deanna about? Deanna says something to Eva and then realizes that what someone said about Ian was correct...

Ian is the guy that was involved in the clusterf**k in Eva's apartment at the end of Bared To You and who Gideon cold cocked before he touched Eva.  Ian is now supposedly sueing Gideon for some $$$

Gideon is scrupulous about every word he says to Eva is the truth. But a huge problem remains Gideon lies by omission. He's done "nothing but the truth" from day one. But his refusing to trust her with "the whole truth" almost destroyed what they had, and they're still dealing with the damage. hank God he's finally starting to open up. But for them to reach happily ever after, he's got to keep being completely honest with her.

 

Regarding Deanna, I believed the guy when he said he barely remembers the one-night-stand he and Deanna had how ever long ago it was in the past. Which he told Eva the night Deanna ambushed her in her apartment lobby, the night Entwined With You opened, the night GidEva reunited. But now at the end of Entwined With You, two weeks have passed with Deanna having inserted herself into Gideon's present life? Gideon has told Eva about some things now going on with Deanna. But I'm worried there are things about Deanna he's holding back on telling Eva? Deanna has been digging hard into his past. What else true dirty laundtry might Deanna know about besides the sex tape and the real story about the brawl with Brett? Stuff Eva could get blindsided by, and be hurt Gideon still is trying to keep things from her?

well, techniclly Gideon hasn't really been "truthful"  Remember when the Dr. asked about sexual encounters and he replied at least twice weekly and earlier Gideon had said to Eva that he has had more sex with Eva in the past month than he has had in the past two years.  (he did explain the difference, but even if he didn't use his d**k, it still is sexual. 

 

also when he said he didn't mastu**ate.....when she gave him the towels.....he further explained that he stro**d off daily with shower, after Eva only once and she was there.....Really sometimes Gideon doesn't know the meaning of ":is" is.....

 

but I still love the series and just waiting patiently.

I know it's frustrating not being able to preorder, but it's impossible to compare the handling of Crossfire to any other romance series. It's a massive undertaking releasing a book with the level of demand Crossfire has, not just for the publisher, printer, distributors, and vendors but also for me. We're all doing the best we can and I can assure you, the publisher is eager to get the book out as soon as possible. Crossfire is presently one of the biggest series in the world. They don't want to sit on it any longer than they absolutely have to.

well girls I am back from my holiday  and you guys have been busy!!

first....Deanna may have been waiting outside of Eva's apartment the night that Gideon left the dinner chasing Eva, but Cary did state that he was the one that accompanied Ian to the Dr to fix his nose and that he would keep tabs on the situation.so, Cary had to have been there with Ian and they would not have talked to Deanna, unless she got to Ian after everything was over....

 

also, we don't know who the redhead is....probably Anne, but we don't know for sure...in the first book Sylvia did state that the redhead that talked to Eva was not Anne.  I can't see Gideon having a fling with Anne knowing she was the main Dr. treating his mom when he was young.  Maybe Christopher started getting abused after Gideon, but we don't know when and how Gideon's abuse ended or lasted....  furthermore, I don't see Anne as being Corinne's DR.  Gideon would have seen the name on the RX bottle

 

i have rambled on enough...but we do have a lot of questions and I am a little sad not to have any news about a release of CBY

not really the right thread, but I wanted to share something.....In my Entertainment Weekly magazine in the Bullseye section...this blurb

I too agree it is from Gideon.....he always thinks Eva is a treat and a gift from heaven....that is why she is his "Angel"....
