OMG.... I just saw the perfect man to play Gideon. Scott Elrod. He played a doctor on Grey's Anatomy 3/10/16....He was tall, had blue eyes and was just stunning. Sorry, I don't know how to post pictures  Â

I rechecked my book copy of BTY and he was starting to say 12 Billion....but I don't understand why it would be in her shoe? I would go with heart. Things are looking up.....30 days until "Outlander" comes back on STARZ and 26 days until OWY!!

I took the day off (4/5/16) and I will spend the day reading. I know I won't finish it, if the story line doesn't go the way that I want, then I might read the last chapter, but I will try not to do that. There is a tweet in which Sylvia asked Is what Gideon did to Nathan justified?. My response would be no. No one has the right to take another's life unless in self defense. Don't know what they should have done instead, maybe use proper precautions and to let Eva know that Nathan was in town. If she had known that Nathan was about she would not have gone out alone so much, but then if confronted she could have used her Krav Maga on him!! Poor Cary never saw it coming, I don't think Cary even knew what Nathan looked like.

I was so hoping with just a month to go we would have gotten another portion of Chapter one.  Still reading RIY and this book made me very sad with the way Gideon was behaving, but with hindsight it all made sense. If this was reality, I would have confronted Gideon in person on Tuesday night when he cut her short on the phone again and seeing those photos of him and Corine together, leave Cary for another hour (since Eva went to work for 8 hrs. she could leave him for another hour). Wonder what her reaction would have been if he wasn't at the penthouse. He supposedly was at the apartment next door moving in with Raul's help. Getting to the point of the interaction with Dr. Lucas and his accusations against Gideon.  I need to power through and get to EWY where happiness starts again.

That is a very good thought. Gideon did say they switched drivers during the "trip from he*l". Then my other question is how did they get back to NY what without phones or vehicleÂ

With 31 days until OWY I am re-reading the series again. Â Reading RIY. Fight scene after the concert. Curious as to why no one stopped the fight and most of all why they left Gideon alone? Â He had to call to have Angus to pick him up. Angus's reply "he knows when to stop "? Â Gideon could have been ganged up on or even arrested. Â Thoughts anyone?

Deanna had dated one of Gia's brothers and Gia asked her if she would look into her friend Jax. Deanna found some juicy info about his mother and Deanna was going to print it and Gia flipped out, blacked mailed Deanna with sordid pictures that Deanna had sent to her brother. I enjoyed Afterburn/Aftershock. Deanna, I feel, cannot be trusted.  Yes, I was confused with why Eva wanted to be friends with Brett. They haven't spoken or seen each other in about 4 years. She was attracted to Brett (even though he wasn't very good or nice). They were together during a time that Eva had very low self esteem and felt that that was the way she should be treated. But she did come to her senses and left that scene and Brett behind until that fateful concert. Cary really should have warned her who and what Six Ninth were.

as long as we are speculating about Gideon's e-mail......it could have been from Arash about the purchase of the beach house. Right, Gideon just got a copy of the flash drive in Cali and he has been tracking the rest down. Wonder what Christopher will do when he finds out that his copy has been erased from his work hard drive. Hope he doesn't have one on his personal computer. I don't trust Deanna either. She would "tap" Gideon again in a heart beat. Wonder if she was one of the ones that he actually used his d**k with? Maybe that is why she is so keen on Gideon. I'll probably read my kindle copy too fast also, but then read it more slowly the second time around. Just think just 35 days to go !!!

I asked that same question in chapter discussion and when she released the first chapter. Â We never heard anymore in the book. Â Hopefully we will get answers to all!?!?????

Well I don't think Eva would confront Anne by herself after Gideon asked her not to confront people (like Megumi's guy) without Raul, Angus or himself is with her. Those two women are unstable, they could do anything. Wouldn't ask Cary to do her dirty work anyway. Maybe something to do with starting a foundation? Could be what the lunch is all about

I am glad you are enjoying the Calendar Series. I suggested those books  in a post that got moved to general discussion.  That author sure did know how to write hot hot!

I think you are right. She would be at work that Friday. Â Hopefully Gideon is paying Eva some "visits" wonder what types of calls she will have Cary make other than the hair appointment. Â ExcitingÂ

In order to get over the wait for OWY I have found 3 new authors!! If you want some exciting reading, please read the Evidence Series by Rachel Grant, The Cold Justice Series by Toni Anderson and the Calendar Girl series by Audrey Carlan. The Calendar Girl Series is REALLY HOT reading. They were 10 chapters each for each month and I couldn't wait for the next one. Good thing they were all out and available to buy at once!.. The other two series are really stand alone, with new characters each book, but the past characters make "guest" appearances. Us Sylvia Day fans would really enjoy them. We haven't had a Tuesday Teaser in a long time. Maybe we will be getting chapter countdowns or pictures to depict what would happen like Sylvia did for EWY. Yes, Sylvia, thank you, thank you, thank you for thinking of us while you were on your cruise. Hope you enjoyed yourself. Enjoyed the next segment, just wished it had more drama. Like Landon trying to force the issue of Eva not working on the account and the partners giving Eva an ultimatum, and then she gives her immediate notice. Guess Sylvia has to get by some issues quickly so that she can concentrate on the "big" issues to finish up this series. Just under 2 months to wait!! Clancy did say he was keeping an eye on Nathan to Eva, and that he should have put Cary into the equation too. He feels bad about the attack on Cary, must not have been watching Nathan closely since Eva was out of town with Gideon.   Â

In Sylvia's latest tweet, she asks since Cary was Eva's BFF should he have warned her about Brett being in the band Sixth Ninth ? Most everyone remarked that he most certainly should have, and I agree whole heartedly. It still irritates me that he thought it would be funny, but he should have warned her so that she could either change her mind about going, or be in a better frame of mind of about seeing him or even better warn her about the song entitled "Golden". Doubt we will be getting a new installment of Chapter one of OWY anytime soon, remember Sylvia is leaving on a cruise next week. Hope she enjoys herself!! Also Dr. T. Lucas was a Pediatrician not a Psychiatrist like the rest of Anne's family. Don't think Gideon confided in Anne about the abuse from her brother, that would really be sick for Anne to have a sordid relationship with a much younger man, knowing her brother was a pedophile and had abused that same man.   Â

I disagree with you on this. Christian did love Ana, he just hasn't had proper relationships in the past to show it properly.( I know these are fictional characters). Ana did stand up to him, when he came home drunk after finding out she was pregnant and her seeing that text from Elena. She said she was moving into her "Old" room and was raising this baby whether he was happy about it or not. I remembered another scene. The one in CBY in the elevator at their penthouse. He tied her to the railings and made her drink alcohol. He needed to "loose" control and didn't really want to take it out on Eva. Guess this must come from the abuse he suffered from Hugh.

I think there is a little BDSM, (no hitting), but he wants her to submit and when he grabs her wrists and she "calms" down. Also on the plane ride (before they got married) he had red restraints, but i think they weren't "tied" to anything, just were on her wrists, he wanted her frame of mind to be restrained? (if that makes sense). Yes, I agree I enjoyed Gideon and Eva's relationship much better than Christian and Ana's (they were really BDSM) Â

I don't know, I find it hard to believe that Elizabeth didn't believe Gideon. I know Dr. T. Lucas didn't help matters by lying about the evidence of abuse, but to believe a 5/6 year old over a 10/11 year old is astonishing. Hopefully she removed Hugh from the therapy. I would still like to know who the psychiatrist was. Remember Hugh was the grad student studying under a psychiatrist (who was mainly treating Elizabeth). Was that person even questioned? So many unanswered questions.

I have remarked several times in earlier posts that we need more info about Gideon's abuse like: How old was he when it began and how old was he when it stopped. How did it stop? We know he must have told Elizabeth about the abuse, that is how Dr. Lucas got involved. Why there is such hatred from Christopher towards Gideon. So many questions, hopefully Sylvia will devote several chapters to this subject so that all our questions will be answered!. Looking forward to the next installment of Chapter 1 and of course 4/5/2016!! I will be very sad when their story ends.Â

Eva wanted to keep his ring in a safe place and with easy access. Mostly I thought it was just her engagement ring because Sylvia hasn't given us a description of her wedding band. Sylvia is good at giving us descriptions like with the ring Gideon gave her in BTY, also the rings that Eva has bought for Gideon!. Hopefully we will be getting another installment for chapter one soon!

People must not have read Sylvia Day's Crossfire series. because under her latest tweet with the scavenger hunt showing the all night coffee place at the end of CBY, someone wrote/tweeted....I am intrigued to know the significance of the rings on the cover. If they had read the books, they would have known that the ruby and diamond ring was Gideon's wedding ring, and I believe the all diamond one will be Eva's; Eva technically hasn't received a wedding ring other than the engagement ring she got. (I could be wrong, but the only rings they have discussed is the one with the X's she got in BTY and her engagement ring). Go figure. Can't wait for April or the next installment of chapter one!!
