opening up about the abuse, getting it out in the open will hopefully lead to Dr. Peterson helping him deal with it and having someone else besides Eva, Angus and now Chris Sr believe him that the abuse did actually happen. I am sure in the real world healing from the inside takes a great deal of time.

chapter 9 Gideon was furious!! but I don't understand why he wanted to tie Eva down, he did mention about Eva being a tigress and wanted to pin her down, make her submit. I guess he wanted to take his frustrations about his abuse on her. Loved Angus's reply about being gentle with her and that couples therapy means the both of you. G said "she can't change the past" It's not the past she's thinking of" "it is the future" I wonder what G meant that Eva was a loose cannon. We did find out why Gideon always took tall, willowly burnettes with blue eyes out. Eva should have kept her word about not pushing him too hard, but I guess she thinks she is trying to help him, and I guess she is sorta. Loved Arash pointing out that Gideon has lost his killer instinct. Loved it when he said that G didn't own the D'Argos Regal on 36th anymore and how thrilled Eva was about that news, and then he said "and suddenly it all makes sense"!! Can't understand why G should be interested in getting info about the guy Magdalene is seeing. G has enough on his plate.

Chapter 8 Where to start, it is a shame that Eva is so quick to forgive Cary for everything and so hard to forgive others. Tat mustn't feel too bad if she can keep having sex with Cary (wonder if they are using protection, she may be still "trying" to prove that she is preggers) IMO Clancy should have been going into the Krav Maga lessons with her all along. Who knows who could have been waiting for Eva other than Det. Graves. Eva should really tell her to stop talking to her without her lawyer present (we don't know if Det. G is trying to set a trap for our lovers) Wonder what Clancy said to the guy to make sure he stops harrassing Megumi. Glad Raul is going inside to keep a better watch on our Eva. Eva really took a chance on telling Chris Sr about Gideon's past abuse with Hugh, and I was glad that he didn't seem to know anything about it. Oh what a tangled web Elizabeth weaved.... Gideon was FURIOUS!!! what a surprise

that's right the "wine date" after returning from their weekend away; but Eva really didn't say it to Corrine, but to her husband, I had forgotten!

You would think that Eva would know when Gideon's birthday is when she did the research and updating of his personal profile dealing with the Deanna backlash in EWY. She was looking into his personal life (not with other women), but you think that date would have shown up.

I think that Sylvia has said that there will be only 5 books I agree it should be more, but maybe it will be a long book with many chapters. All the books were a day by day accounting of their daily lives, maybe she is going to jump into the future and have some flashbacks to explain some things.

I liked how Gideon has fond memories of Eva's apartment and probably won't lease it out again. Liked how he could not wait and put his hands, mouth and fingers on or in her....I was wondering what he meant by "not just because of who she was...? He did make a point that Megumi was sending mixed signals to the guy. Too bad we never found out who he was, I guess it wasn't Christopher. G made another point by saying not to confront the guy herself and to use Raul from now on, Eva has to beginning thinking of them as MARRIED and that Raul works for her too now.. and when he explained everything to her, Eva did seem to see Gideon's point. Loved the phrase "if I have to start actually styling my hair every day, you're dealing with morning wood on your own"!! The fight with Christopher was interesting, all he thinks of is himself, not how his actions would affect others. He doens't care if the video would upset Eva. Liked it when G said "the point is supposed to be Six-Ninths, not my wife" Magdalene must have told Chris Jr about what they were doing in the Library in BTY Can't believe Corine ambushed G at his office again. He should tell security not to let her up anymore. I don't remember Eva every telling Corrine that they were getting married, only that G is in love with Eva in RIY, don't think they have had any contact since then. Glad that Dr. Peterson is pushing G to open up and let him help him, but G is fighting him all the way, thinking that the past can't be changed (which it can't) but the truth has to be faced as to what happened to him.

I enjoyed chapter 6 also: Loved the lunch with the 3 of them and that Gideon held her hand during the meal!!! When he said that all he wanted was to keep Eva happy and a smile on her face, it made me melt!! Gideon has a way with words. Yes, waking up to a naked Gideon Cross would be so nice. He should have at least told Eva, that he is never unavailable to her, but also Eva shouldn't have hung up on him; Scott should have said that G was in a meeting and would give him the message pronto, but with instructions to put Eva through always, he is caught between a rock and a hard place. Both G and E's communication skills need to improve. Megumi went through a lot Loved it when G introduced himself to her and then proceeded to kiss Eva goodbye in front of anybody looking!! With the research in the RFP for PhazeOne in a later chapter Eva does make a comment about CI doing something similar to Lancorp.

That is a problem. Thinking in OWY Christopher will try to "come on" to Eva by trying to force himself on her thinking that if she was that way with Brett then she probably is with everyone and he would "want some of that". but then her Krav Maga will have to come out!!

Loved chapter 5 also especailly when he gave it to Sam Y. Pointing out that the video will never come out, that he owned the bar and of course the band.; but especailly when the offer went down. "I thought the offers for 1 million, it was but you declined it. Not too happy when Sam said that Brett was cool with the video "we've worked things out" Still loved the line by Arash "always a pleasure watching you scare the h**l out of someone". Hope Gideon keeps his promise NOT to look at the flash drive; it would definitely drive a wedge in their relationship. Adored the texting between G and E about accepting each other's offer to be "friends" and when G LOL it surprised Arash. Apparently G doesn't laugh too much Didn't quite understand the text "I'm keeping my half of our deal" not sure who was writing, but think it was Eva cause the next text was "so am I, angel mine. Surprised that it took Gideon a moment to realize that the blonde with Brett wasn't Eva, but glad he did before he made a scene. Took me back when the "girls" came on to him and the way he would have reacted to them in the past; he was for a lack of a better very aggressive? Would have loved to have had his POV in BTY when Eva keep turning him down. Glad that Eva arrived in time to see Brett and the blonde together and made her realize that Brett was pathetic and not worth her trouble and then shook his hand with her left hand with Gideon's ring on her finger!! Wow Gideon doing 100 push-ups and still able to "ravish" Eva all night long!!!! Glad she wasn't too upset with G being in SD and when he called Arash in the middle of the night to prove he was working. Wrote too much already, but I really enjoyed this chapter immensely!!

I am glad that Dr. Travis pointed out all Eva's issues with her self esteem. She really didin't feel like she deserved someone great like Gideon who loved and worshipped her, but instead felt like she deserved to be treated like sh*t by Brett and all the others. Bravo Dr. Travis. Loved the texting between Eva and Gideon. Wasn't too happy with Cary's reaction about the marriage. He could have been a little more supportive. He stated that he was having a kid and not getting married because he was fu**ed up, but in reality he doesn't love Tatiana so that is the best reason not to get married; kid or no kid. Glad also that Victor is coming to terms with Gideon's wealth and his love for his daughter.

Chapter 3: Elizabeth really shows her true colors about Eva. She will believe all the bad things about Eva (probably from Christopher) and wouldn't believe her own son when he was young and told her about his abuse from Hugh Glad that Gideon and Ireland are still in contact, funny how it took Eva to get them together one time to make this happen naturally. Would love to have heard what Gideon said to Victor about the engagment in the gossip rags. It was smooth according to Arash. Would still like to hear the recording that Gideon made when he asked Victor to marry Eva. The hummer was excellant, especially for Gideon. Couldn't believe that the folks on the other end didn't know what was going on. He was correct in telling them that if they thought they could use his money and not keep up with their own deadlines they were sadly mistaken!! I would be jealouse too if my "hot" boyfriend/husband was going out with the guys. Gideon provided security and transportation whenever Eva went out without him, so Eva had a right to know what he and the guys would be doing. Loved meeting his friends, and Arnoldo has a point about Eva; he has seen her in action what with the kiss and the dinner, but Arnoldo didn't know the whole story. Frankly Eva doesnt fit the mold and "fit" nicely into Gideon's life without a ripple!! Good for Eva, she LOVES Gideon I love the chat...."Are you in love Mr, Cross? Irrevocatably"

In Chapter 2: Eva asking Gideon if the Crossfire had personal info on all employess. Ironically Gideon said he couldn't/shouldn't give that info out to her; since that is probably how he found some of the info about her. Like where she lived and with whom. But said that Raul could locate Megumi for her. Found out that Monica didn't find out about the engagement until reading it in the press release. So Eva didn't tell her while they were discussing the fact that Gideon had asked permission from Stanton and Victor. Like how she had said "have a wonderful day and I love you madly. Don't worry, I don't expect you to reply while your lawyer is there with you !!" Eva should have guessed right away from the beginning that Gideon wanted Mark G. to do the RFP for the vodka account to get to see Eva. Wonder what other speculations she is worried about. Too bad we are not having a Gideva babybump watch, but it would be ineresting to find out what kind of birth control she uses.....it has done a dandy job so far!!! a period every month!

Yes, Arash is my new favorite character!! He seems to be smart and is able to stand up to Gideon. Glad Gideon is selling his f**k pad hotel (even if he loses some money on it). In the end it should make Eva happy that his "pad" doesn't exist anymore. Bad news with his Mother waiting in reception. It was nice to learn of some of Gideon's business dealings. Still not happy with Eva and her so called "feelings" for Brett. If they had so much together, why didn't they try to get in touch with each during the past 4 or 5 years.?

In Chapter 1, I am still curious about the e-mail that caught Gideon's eye right before Eva showed up... I was upset about the fact that Eva was "confused" about Brett. Loved Gideon's POV

yes I think he has.....can't remember which book, but when he dodged Eva's question about him using one before made me think that he has. When are we going to start out chapter discussion of CBY? It has been over 2 weeks, I think we have waited long enough and probably have reread it too often.. Anyway it would get out minds off of wanting the release date of OWY !!

I have often wondered why neither Elizabeth or Chris Sr, ever questioned why Gideon gave that speech at the advocacy dinner (the one where he went with Eva in BTY after Limo S ex ). And that he has that Crossroads foundation. Christopher was there so he should be aware of something.... maybe the whole family is in denial. Just glad that Ireland is OK

in CBY page28-29 they only thing that Elizabeth said about Brett and Eva is that "she's involved with that singer Brett Kline" So I don't think that she knows about the video (the real one) not the "Golden" one. Won't Christopher be surprised when he goes to look at it again and finds out that it has "vanished"!! as for Cary being with Anne more than once....hopefully he is not that dumb...he didn't even know the name of the redhead at the dinner when Eva was questioning him about who he was dancing with and then later after the closet....

In EWY Eva said something to Gideon about Corinne being his alibi....Gideon stated that the fire was his alibi and that Corrine was just there for part of the time.

I personally LOVED having both POVs; I loved being finally able to get into Gideon's mind!! Sylvia, keep up the great job, as always you never disappoint!!

yes, Eva is only an entry level employee an assistant to a junior account manager. They got the Kingsman Vodka account because Gideon wanted another chance to meet Eva. Hopefully if they (mark and eva) didn't come up with a good RFP Gideon wouldn't have given them the account. As for LanCorp, they asked for Mark knowing (probably) that Eva was his assistant and they thought it was a way to "get" at Cross Industries. I believe they got the account (Will congratulated her for it), but they want Mark to head the project up, that is why Waters, Field and Lehman made a counter-offer to Mark to keep him. Then it dawned on Eva that she probably couldn't work on that account because of her relationship to Gideon.... Also, Gideon had made the statment that the people working on his GenTen account "that he owned their soul lock stock and barrel" in other words they were employeed by CI and NOT an outside advertising firm. We don't know WHO Corrine's therapist is. Yes, she did make a remarkable recovery for her suicide attempt/losing the baby and her husband divorcing her. She broke the engagment off to Gideon mainly to get a reaction from Gideon. In fact she thought having s e x at the hotel was romantic.; but Gideon was relieved that she did break it off, he said "how can I get married and explain why we can't sleep in the same bed the entire night" We don't what type of s e x they had other than it was his first consensual one. Yes, I too wondered how he took all those different women to the hotel and not be in the gossip pages....they did say that Gideon was a playboy. all I can think of now, more to come later maybe!!
