    Personally I think it is emotional safety. He told Eva in the library the Vidal home is what's in his night mares. He probably didn't want his safe place tanted with the location of his past .

    Thank you GiGi. We didn't get to bed until close to midnight last night. I've been a little sleep deprived and it must have shown... I was teased (aka not really), by my husband, with a spanking if I didn't stop being grumpy. I sighed and smiled and apologized for being cranky ... and then thought of something similar with Eva & Gideon

    I TOTALLY understand about the space bubble. Mine varies depending on my surroundings and who it is..... Some people I am comfortable letting into my space bubble while others are too close and I get uncomfortable.

    I think JFG wanted to meet with Eva to learn (from a womans point of view) what his wife saw in Gideon. He didn't understand why she (Corrine) was still in love with Gideon.
