 Gideon got the apartment while Cary was in the hospital. At that time he didn't know how long Nathan would be around. I think the plan to kill Nathan started to take place once Gideon had the apartment. There was a good chance that Nathan wouldn't be so easy to do in and Gideon wanted to be prepared.  As far as friends with Brett, I agree. If Eva wanted to be friends she should have tried that before Gideon was in the picture. She obviously didn't even Google him in four year or she would have known about the band's name change and his record deal.Â

 Interesting article. I have to think about this a little before I comment.

 I think there are always tears when a story is real romance. If you need something light go with Wallbanger. You will laugh out loud for the most part and only tear up a little.

  I'm starting these next. Really looking forward to them.

I had a crazy reading weekend. I stayed home on Friday because I was sick and in bed most of the weekend. I read three novella's by Maya Banks Understood, Overheard and Undenied.  These were written following the same premise of the KGI series. They are about a group of friends and how their lives intertwine. Each book focuses on one character but the others are part of the story. I love the KGI series and bought these as soon as I finished KGI. The e-books are very inexpensive so this must be an older series.  Sheena suggested Jane's Melody and I have to say thank you, thank you, thank you. OMG what a great story. I don't know if it is because the main character is a little older (40) or what but I just empathized with Jane. I cried and laughed with Jane, felt her fear and joy.  It is one of those great stories that takes you through every emotion. Thanks Sheena.  I downloaded Sylvia's historical novels but I won't have too much time to read over the next couple weeks. We are now in our peak season meaning extra hours and I'll be exhausted when I get home.Â

 Welcome to the forum  I agree with paragraph one except for pg 99. Sylvia said that wasn't Anne.  I disagree with paragraph 4. I think Eva knows how important it is to Gideon to resolve his family issues. I think the only person who may be a problem in the end is Christopher Jr. but, as Sylvia said, Christopher loves his mother and Ireland. If these two women want him to try to mend some bridges with Gideon he will try.  Gideon will be free from the murder either because the bracelet puts the murder squarely in the hands of Yedemsky or there will be a trial and Gideon will be acquitted.  I agree with your Cary & Trey comments. Cary has a lot of issues that he needs to work out. It doesn't matter if he is gay, straight or bi if he wants a committed relationship he has to choose the one person he wants to be in a committed relationship with.Â

 You talked me into it. I placed my order.

I'm a little disappointed. I was sure we would have a release date, a snippet or a picture for CBY. I understand why we don't but I'm still disappointed.Â

 I see your point but I think that Brett has a bad boy streak and there is something we don't know about him yet. Oh darn I swore I wasn't going to discuss Brett until I read Captivated. Can't resist though.Â

 No way I think my post got held up in the electrical storm here.  I lost my electricity last night and didn't see the posts. It looks like we posted around the same time. Interesting. Â

 I think he would have stopped giving her a hard time if Eva hadn't decided a dinner at Tableau One with Brett was the thing to do.Â

 I think the only reason Eva didn't tell her mother is because they were arguing. Eva didn't want her mother to think she didn't include her out of spite. I still think the marriage is going to be leaked early in Captivated by Deanna.Â

 I don't get that. He is a good friend of Gideon's and knows he loves Eva and that he is different with her. On the flip side he witnessed the Brett fiasco and he doesn't want Eva to use Gideon.Â

 Oh good lord. What I wouldn't give to be young and in Hollywood.

 I agree. The Brett/Eva thing makes me crazy. Eva feels guilty when she walks past Gideon's apartment but then she sends him a happy face message. Why? She sends so many mixed messages and then lectures Gideon to cut ties with Corinne. It drives me crazy but I'm sure Sylvia has the story arc going somewhere that will be interesting.

  This is where he is rethinking about the dress he bought for Eva. Do I want other people seeing her bo obies hanging out?

 Ladies you are killing my pocketbook. I had to take my grand kids to see Superman and now I know I'm going to buy The Tudors, not to mention all the books I'm buying, even though I promise myself I'm cutting back. If this continues I will need a part-time job to subsidize my addiction.Â

 Women's Murder Club was on TV (2007-2008) for 1/2 a season but the writers strike caused it to be cancelled just as it started to get popular. Angie Harmon played Lindsey Boxer. I am a little disappointed in Patterson's books lately sometimes I feel he has turned too much over to his co-authors. However the Alex Cross books he still writes alone. He made a lot of negative comments about some of his books that turned people off for a time but I still read his books.  I love The Closer and miss it on TV.Â
