I must say Julie, it is great when you find these lines, I have to keep going back through my IPad to find them before I can post them but then by that time someone has posted what I wanted to say.  I loved the other picture for Chapter 12 with the roses and I felt that was such a poignant part of the story so that Eva knew Gideon was really truly thinking about her especially at such a hard time with her father and to give us something to smile about in that time.  It was so special and sweet of him Â

I agree with you there.  Also with Monica, I always got the impression she did all these functions to make up for not being there for Eva when she was a child being abused, this is her way of helping others and she would not be able to do that or have the resources to do with if she was with Victor
