Hi All  I loved this scene, Eva was so tender with Gideon and he felt it and knew how much she cared for him just by washing his nightmare away.  I loved the whole chapter I think my favourite part was when Gideon said  "I have never thought of men in that way but the fact that you would accept me if I did means more to me" or words to that effect, sorry I don't have the book or my IPad with me (I know terrible I am but I have the directors coming to work today so thought best to leave it at home LOL)  I feel this meant so much to Gideon and it showed to me how much closer the two of them are and how they are growing together.  xx

Hey Julie  I maybe going off base here, but if the abuse was always hand jobs, why did Gideon always say "I don't do anal play" I always presumed the abuse was that way inclined and that is why it was "so sore" in his nightmares

I don't think that would ever happen, Elizabeth does not like Eva and Monica will not associate with anyone who is nasty to her daughterÂ

If that was me Gabri and my hubby did that to me I would be kicking him to the curb by now and telling him to pack his bags and get out, maybe Dr T is just blinded by his love for his wife but yes I agree he has jepordised everything for herÂ

I think Corrine did know she was pregnant and was why she eventually went hysterical and teary on the phone with Gideon as when he was talking to her he has mentioned " he could not be that way with her" and she knew she had lost him and then he went "Icy" when she went off on one of her tangents (rants) as I think she knew then that she was not getting him back and that her husband was the father of her child and the fact that she may be left single and alone with a child frightened her.

I sometimes feel sorry for Gideon in that he has never really had a steady relationship and I can't imagine that the relationship with Corrine was as intense as he had with Eva to begin with and probably Corrine excepted him not calling, after all they were in College and studying so they probably could go a couple of days with no contact so probably Gideon feels that this was normal for couples so never for 1 minute thought that Eva would think they were over as he didn't. Â I also think that he felt that Eva would not think it was over because she knew he loved her so much and that she loved him and that was all that was keeping him going at time and what drove him to kill Nathan, his love for Eva and wanting to keep her safe, she was everything to him.Â

I so agree Fayeth it is a lovely line, not my No.1 that will always be "Day one of my life was when I met you" but this is a 2nd favourite of the whole book. Â So caring and intense and just heart melting

Either I am happy with them and love the sound of this LN LOL Â Â I am having my own night with Gideon on Friday at the "Man of Steel premier in Edinburgh" oh just to see Henry's face in full HD,3D and on the big screen, you do realise that all the way through the film I will be thinking/picturing him as Gideon ~ swoon~
