I understand what you are saying Sharon especially about Cary, Corrine etc but in some way I can see why Eva would bring Brett up as she feels sorry for him and Eva is such a good person and trusting and she feels it badly when she hurts people and that I think is what she is feeling with Brett.  Don't get me wrong, I think she is stupid going to SD and seeing Brett but she needs to see him face to face to tell him once and for all that it is over and there is no way of going back but I do think Brett will at least try but Eva has to be strong and has to be faithful after seeing her dad and mum I don't think she would do that as it would hurt Gideon too much.  Eva has a good head on her at times and I know she would not want to hurt Brett so I think she wants to let him down personally and face to face as that is how she would want it.

Think it has more to do with Clancy than Angus, Eva asked Gideon if Angus could have been involved and he said NO

I think Eva feels bad for Brett and the way she has led him on and yes she needs to nip it in the butt herself and hopefully in SD she can do that with Cary being there, I don't think she should see him alone. Â Maybe Gideon will put security detail on her again to keep her safe. Â I think the Tableau One was so Gideon knew where they were and that Arnaldo would look out for her in case she needed him and I did not get the impression in the book that Gideon was angry she was going to dinner with Brett and was pleased she picked somewhere he owned to be closer to him and to give him the respect of knowing where she was.

Yeah I agree here, Gideon has said to Eva he would not lie to her and I don't think he would, he would know she would never trust him again if he did. Â I think Gideon took Deanna out to try and smooth the way and I can't see her trying to get inbetween them if he is offering her a lucrative scoop for the wedding, if she went against him she would be sorry as he would probably make it that she did not work againÂ

It was lovely, I just wished you may have heard their vows as then you would feel the emotion from both of them

I did get the feeling though that Gideon knew that he would not get away with not telling Eva the truth and opening up to her, like he said in Ch1 "I need you, must have you" and I think that just shows how cut up he was about the way he hurt her and now he is trying to make their relationship concrete and the only way he can do that with her is to open up and be honest with her.

I never thought of that, I am still wracking my brains, it is hard on a Friday LOL
